고속철도 콘크리트궤도용 흙노반의 거동 특성 (Characteristics of Roadbed Behaviors of Concrete Track for High-Speed Railway)

  • An active application of concrete track is being expected for the future constructions of Korean railroad. For the successful concrete track construction and design in earthwork areas, the roadbed behavior should be reasonably estimated using the proper analysis method. In this paper, behaviors of concrete track on the reinforced roadbed constructed with the standard stiffness and depth were estimated thorough numerical analyses and field measurements. A three dimensional finite difference method was employed to model the concrete tracks and subground. The settlement and vertical pressures caused by train load were estimated by the numerical method and compared with the field measurement results. The bearing characteristics of roadbed were presented and the proper method for the analysis of concrete track was proposed.

  • An active application of concrete track is being expected for the future constructions of Korea railroad. In this research, behaviors of reinforced roadbed constructed with the determined stiffness and thickness at embankment section were estimated through various design parameters and numerical analysis. A three dimensional finite element method was employed to determine the proper reinforced roadbed thickness at embankment section. The displacement and vertical stress caused by train loading were estimated and compared with the field test results. The bearing characteristics of concrete track roadbed were presented. Moreover, the method to determine thickness of reinforced roadbed was proposed.

Settlement and Bearing Capacity of Roadbed Subjected to Tilting-train Loading in Various Ground Conditions

  • Tilting-train is very attractive to the railroad users in the world due to the advantage of high speed in curved track using pre-existing infrastructure of railway. Tilting-train has a unique allowable speed and mechanism especially in curved track. In this work, when tilting-train is operated with the allowable speed, the behavior of roadbed is evaluated by examining its settlement and bearing capacity. Additionally, the stability of roadbed is estimated as the roadbed is in the condition of soft soil influenced by the weather effects and cyclic train loading. Numerical results show that the roadbed settlement satisfies the allowable settlement when the elastic modulus of upper roadbed should be greater than $5000t/m^2$.

  • Recently the geogrids are being used in some large projects such as Inchon International Airport construction, highway construction, and Korean High-Speed Railway construction with not only the merit of simple construction but also reinforcing efficiency for the soft ground. Main function of roadbed is to provide a stable foundation in terms of bearing capacity and settlement for the subballast and ballsat layers. Differential settlement of the railroad should be avoided. The cyclic laboratory model tests were performed to investigate the settlement behavior of geogrid reinforced railroadbed. The ratio of settlement of roadbed under cyclic loading with three layers of geogrid reinforced is less than 1/2 of the roadbed thickness without reinforcement.

철도 강화노반재료의 정ㆍ동적 특성 분석 (Analysis of Static and Dynamic Characteristics of Reinforced Roadbed Materials)

  • The analysis of static and dynamic characteristics of reinforced roadbed materials was performed through model and laboratory tests. The strength characteristic of reinforced roadbed materials such as HMS-25 and soil were investigated through the unconfined axial compression test, the model soil box test and the combined resonant column and torsional shear test. The unconfined axial compression strength of HMS-25 shows a steady increasement in strength due to the chemical hardening reaction between HMS-25 and water. The result of model soil box test reveals that railroad roadbed of HMS-25 is better than that of soil in several aspects, such as, bearing capacity and settlement. The combined resonant column and torsional shear test result indicates that shear modulus of HMS-25 and soil increase with the power of 0.5 to the confining pressure and linear relationship to normalized shear modulus and damping ratio.

  • 분기기 시스템은 기존선의 속도향상을 저해하는 요소들 중에 하나이며, 우리나라에서는 안전을 위하여 분기기 직선측 통과속도를 130km/h로 제한하고 있어 기존선 속도향상을 위해서는 반드시 개선되어야할 사항이다. 본 연구에서는 기존 및 개량 분기기 궤도 성능을 평가 기 위해 동적윤중 현장계측 데이터를 이용하여 충격계수가 산정되었으며, 수치해석을 이용하여 분기기 하부 노반의 지지력을 평가하였다. 그 결과 분기기 개선에 따른 노반응력 저감효과를 확인 할 수 있었으며, 기존 및 개량 분기기에서 발생한 노반응력은 허용지지력 이하로 나타났다.

  • 철도에서 토공구조물은 입경이 큰 조립지반재료를 주요한 재료로 사용하고 있다. 그러나 이들 재료에 대한 미소변형 거동을 평가할 수 있는 동적물성 산정에 대한 연구는 대형시험장비의 부족으로 거의 이루어지지 않고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 국내 철도설계기준에 제시되어 있는 입도분포, 단위중량 등의 기본 조건에 맞는 강화노반(보조도상, 입도조정층), 접속부 자갈재료, 상부노반재료에 대해 대형반복삼축압축시험을 수행하여 저변형률 수준에 따른 정규화전단탄성계수와 감쇠비곡선을 제안하고, 각 재료별로 수식 모델과 계수를 제시하였다.

  • 최근 철도의 고속화 및 중량화로 인하여 보다 안정적인 토공노반 구조가 요구된다. 그 대안으로 강화노반이 도입되어 적용하고 있다. 하지만 현 설계기준에 적용되어진 콘크트궤도 강화노반의 강성 및 두께는 국내의 지반의 특성 및 공학적인 평가 없이 외국의 기준을 임의적이고 보수적으로 결정하고 있다 따라서 본 논문에서는 콘크리트궤도 흙쌓기 구간에서의 강화노반 두께를 합리적으로 결정하기 위하여 국내 시공조건을 고려, 적정 탄성계수, 배수성능, 동결심도, 경제성, 지지력 등을 검토하고 이를 바탕으로 유한요소해석을 실시하여 적정 두께를 제시하였다.

A Study on Behavioral Characteristics of Track Roadbed according to Steel Pipe Press-in Excavation during Construction of Underground Railway Crossing

  • In this study, numerical analysis and model experiments were conducted to analyze behavioral characteristics acting on the track roadbed with excavation through steel pipe injection, a non-exclusive method of crossing construction under railroad as primary target. In model experiments that simulate injection excavation behaviors with an increase in the depth of soil cover, the upper displacement was measured by construction of the first and the second pipes in order to predict actual behaviors, and the behavior characteristics were verified through numerical analysis. The investigation results showed that surface displacement was smaller under the condition of higher soil cover. In the case of injecting two pipes, when the first pipe was injected, deformation of the surface increased linearly in both settlement and uplift experiments. However, when the second pipe was injected, the amount of change was found to be very small due to the relaxation and plastic zones around the first pipe. In addition, the results of numerical analysis on the same cross section with the model experiment found that the results of investigation into settlement ratio and volume loss were in very good agreement with those obtained by the model experiment.

운영 중인 철도노반 보강을 위한 그라우팅 성능 (Grouting Performance for the Reinforcement of Operating Railway Roadbed)

  • 본 논문에서는 운영 중인 철도노반의 침하에 대응하고자 노반보강 재료와 공법에 대한 내용을 다루었다. 국내에서는 도시철도와 고속철도, 그리고 일반철도에 콘크리트궤도가 도입되고 있지만 최근 시공된 일부구간에서 콘크리트궤도의 노반침하가 발생되고 있고, 유지보수에 어려움을 겪고 있는 실정이다. 철도 안전운행을 위해 침하된 철도노반의 보강이 시급하지만 현재까지 운영중인 철도노반의 보강에 대한 시공사례는 전무한 상태로서 노반 보강에 어려움이 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 최초로 시도되는 운영 중인 철도노반을 보강하기 위해 지반보강 재료들을 통해 노반 보강의 목표성능을 선정하였고, 이에 침투성능 및 고결성 주입효과 등을 확인하여 목표성능의 만족여부를 판단하였다. 연구 결과 일반적으로 쓰이는 지반보강재료 및 공법들은 철도노반 보강의 적용을 위해 개선이 필요하다는 것이 확인되었다.
