소형무인경전철(PRT)궤도 레일이음매의 동적거동 분석 (Evaluation of Dynamic Behavior of Rail Joints on Personal Rapid Transit Track)

  • The objective of this study was to estimate the dynamic behavior of a personal rapid transit(PRT) track system using a rail of rectangular tube section and a rail joint of sliding type, and to compare the results with the normal rail and rail joint of a PRT track system by performing field measurements using actual vehicles running along the service lines. The measured vertical displacement of rail and sleeper, and vertical acceleration of rail for the normal rail and rail joint section were found to be similar, and the rail joint of sliding type satisfied the design specifications of the track impact factor for a conventional railway track. The experimental results showed that the overall dynamic response of the rail joint were found to be similar to or less than that of the normal rail, therefore the rail joint of sliding type for PRT track system was sufficient to ensure a stability and safety of PRT track system.

  • 코레일(한국철도공사)는 "지진가속도계측기 설치 및 운영기준"을 수립하여 고속철도에 적용하고 있으며, 고속철도 운전취급세칙을 개정하여 지진 발생시 철도의 안전운행을 위한 운전취급 요령에 따라 단계별 열차운행패턴을 구축하여 운영 중이다. 본 연구는 지진가속도계가 설치된 고속철도 인접구간에서 발파작업을 위한 노천 및 터널발파 설계 사례이다.

  • These days, in Korea, according to improving the standard living, people generally work 5 days a week and it results more leisure hours. On weekends or in specific season, travel to mountain region around the major city is much in demand, and, in case of public transportation, the demand exceeds the supply. So, people tend to go other places, even overseas, for their holidays. The situation in Korea reflects the needs for mountainous light rail transit system with the object of convenient and rapid transport of passengers. In this paper, the guideline for mountainous light rail transit planing is proposed, and the representative mountainous light rail transit system is analyzed to choose the proper mountainous light rail transit system which adapts the demand for transportation and the terrain in Korea.

  • 본 연구에서는 레일이음매를 배제할 수 없는 각관형 레일을 사용하는 PRT궤도구조를 대상으로 레일이음매 설치위치 및 간격을 최적화함으로써 레일이음매부의 충격 및 승차감 저하 현상을 최소화 하고자 수치해석 및 현장측정을 통해 열차주행 시 PRT 차량의 실 열차속도를 고려한 궤도 구조의 일반부 및 레일이음매부의 동적거동을 파악하여 레일이음매의 적정간격을 산정하였다.

  • Light Rail Transit (LRT) System is an urban transit system which has approximately an intermediate transportation capacity between conventional subway and bus ($5,000{\sim}25,000$ persons per hour and per direction). It is a high-tech system which operational capacity, punctuality and mobility are remarkably improved. There are some types of LRT systems such as monorail, tramway, AGT(Automated Guideway Transit), and so on. The LRT systems have been applied and being operated in about a hundred lines around the world and many projects that apply the LRT systems in Korea are being proceeded and scheduled. For the efficient management, economical construction, and safe operation of various LRT systems, the establishment of national standard is necessary such as vehicle standardized specification, vehicle performance test standard, vehicle safety standard, construction guide, operation regulation, etc. of LRT systems. This paper presents the standard specification of electrical equipment of linear induction motor type light rail vehicle, that is LIM AGT(AGT system propelled with linear induction motor) vehicle. The LIM AGT system has been applied in Japan subway and ART(Advanced Rapid Transit) system of Canada and Yongin LRT is currently under construction.

  • Light Rail Transit (LRT) is optimized vehicle system for complex urban circumstance. LRT systems have many merits such as improved accuracy and safety. There are many LRT systems such as monorail, tram, automated guideway transit, linear induction motor propulsion and so on. These systems have been operated in Japan and other advanced countries. In Korea, local government has many projects to apply the advanced LRT system. But there are no standards regulation, performance test regulation and construction regulation for monorail system, linear induction motor system and tram in Korea. We expect that standardization brings economical construction and safety. The linear induction motor system has been usually applied to subway in Japan and ART(Advanced Rapid Transit) in Canada. In Korea, the linear induction motor system has been adopted for Yong-In LRT and currently under construction. This paper presents signalling system and TCMS(train control and monitoring system) of linear induction motor system.

  • In this paper we deal with a design of the evaluation system to assess the vehicle operational control algorithm for Personal Rapid Transit(PRT) system. PRT system is different from the conventional rail traffic system in such that the station is off-line so as to guarantee a very short headway. In this study we propose an evaluation system to assess the performance of the proposed vehicle control algorithm. The evaluation system is composed of virtual vehicles, central control system, virtual wayside facilities, monitoring equipments. The virtual vehicles are made up by the laptop computers and the central control system employs Power PC process of Motorola Inc. The wayside facilities are implemented by employing the PXI module of the National Instruments Corporation. In order to test the proposed evaluation system a test algorithm is used, which has been simulated in the combined simulation system between Labview Simulation Interface Toolkit and Matlab/Simulink.

This paper covers the contents and technical base for main items of rolling stock, performance standard, carbody structure, bogie, electronic unit and brake equipment in order to implement linear induction motor LRT system according to local conditions.

  • 최근 철도 서비스를 개선하고자 기존선을 복선 및 전철화 하는 등 철도네트워크 기능강화사업이 활발히 추진되고 있다. 이를 배경으로 본 논문에서 급행철도와 같이 새로운 철도 운영서비스가 제공될 경우 타 교통수단으로부터 얼마의 전환수요가 발생될 것이며, 철도이용형태는 어떻게 변화될 것인지? 등 앞으로 건설될 대구권 광역철도를 대상으로 SP와 RP데이터에 의한 전환수요 예측방법의 적용성을 검토하였다. 모형 구축결과, 기존 SP와 RP데이터를 결합하는 동시적 모형과 순차적 모형이 모두 유용하여 총통행시간과 통행비용의 파라미터 추정치가 충분한 설명력을 나타내고 있으며, 동시적 방법이 보다 효율적으로 분석되었다. 특히 RP+SP의 결합모형의 타당성을 더욱 높이기위해서 RP데이터를 비례적으로 적용한다면, 철도요금과 통행시간 설정에 따라 전환수요를 쉽게 파악할 수 있을 것이며, 대구권 광역철도를 비롯하여 타 지역에서도 보다 실용적으로 적용할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

  • The role of environment-friendly and energy-efficient rail transportation is on the rise as a "sustainable transportation means" to cope with environmental changes that are major concerns around the world. Along with the environmental problems, the CO2 inhibition issue became critical for mankind to prepare global warming and high oil prices. It has come to a point where an alternate means are needed to revitalize plans including renewable energy, bicycle utilization, and prepare new solutions for decreasing number of cars within the city The personal rapid Transit(PRT) is the revolutionary future transportation means that can replace cars to deal with ever-increasing traffic congestions, vehicles, and environmental/energy problems. Expected as an efficient means, technology development has already taken place in developed countries such as U.S., England, and Germany. To meet the future demands, PRT installation around the nation's new and existing towns is being examined to produce important factors. The factors are produced for examining the availability of system requirements during design and construction practice.
