유한요소해석에서 r-h형 적응법에 관한 연구 (A Study on the r-h methods in Finite Element Analysis)

  • 최근 유한요소해석에서 보다 정확한 해를 위한 적응해석법에 대해 많은 연구가 이루어지고 있다. 본 논문은 요소 면적당의 오차를 균일화하여 절점을 최적의 위치로 변화시키는 r법과 오차가 큰 요소를 같은 모양의 요소로 세분시키는 h법을 혼합한 rh형 적응해석법을 사용하였다. 그 결과 같은 자유도에서 h법과 rh법의 오차감소율과 수렴속도는 거의 같에 나타났지만, rh법은 h법만 사용했을 때보다 전체 자유도 증가를 최대한 억제한 상태에서 정확한 유한요소해를 얻을 수 있었다.

Remeshing techniques for r-adaptive and combined h/r-adaptive analysis with application to 2D/3D crack propagation

  • Remeshing strategies are formulated for r-adaptive and h/r-adaptive analysis of crack propagation. The relocation of the nodes, which typifies r-adaptivity, is a very cheap method to optimise a given discretisation since the element connectivity remains unaltered. However, the applicability is limited. To further improve the finite element mesh, a combined h/r-adaptive method is proposed in which h-adaptivity is applied whenever r-adaptivity is not capable of further improving the discretisation. Two and three-dimensional examples are presented. It is shown that the r-adaptive approach can optimise a discretisation at minimal computational costs. Further, the combined h/r-adaptive approach improves the performance of a fully r-adaptive technique while the number of h-remeshings is reduced compared to a fully h-adaptive technique.

  • In general, contrary to the CRTs with impulsive emission, liquid crystal displays have motion artifacts such as blurring. ghost image, decrease of dynamic CR(contrast ratio), and stroboscopic motion due to hold type driving method. In this paper, to improve motion picture quality of LCDs. impulsive driving method of black data insertion was applied to the OCB mode which is well known for its fast LC response time and wide viewing angle properties. Subject evaluation was carried out with CRT, TN, SIPS(Super IPS). and impulsive driving OCB. Moving picture image quality near CRT was obtained in impulsive OCB driving mode

STEREO VISION-BASED FORWARD OBSTACLE DETECTION

  • This paper proposes a stereo vision-based forward obstacle detection and distance measurement method. In general, stereo vision-based obstacle detection methods in automotive applications can be classified into two categories: IPM (Inverse Perspective Mapping)-based and disparity histogram-based. The existing disparity histogram-based method was developed for stop-and-go applications. The proposed method extends the scope of the disparity histogram-based method to highway applications by 1) replacing the fixed rectangular ROI (Region Of Interest) with the traveling lane-based ROI, and 2) replacing the peak detection with a constant threshold with peak detection using the threshold-line and peakness evaluation. In order to increase the true positive rate while decreasing the false positive rate, multiple candidate peaks were generated and then verified by the edge feature correlation method. By testing the proposed method with images captured on the highway, it was shown that the proposed method was able to overcome problems in previous implementations while being applied successfully to highway collision warning/avoidance conditions, In addition, comparisons with laser radar showed that vision sensors with a wider FOV (Field Of View) provided faster responses to cutting-in vehicles. Finally, we integrated the proposed method into a longitudinal collision avoidance system. Experimental results showed that activated braking by risk assessment using the state of the ego-vehicle and measuring the distance to upcoming obstacles could successfully prevent collisions.

Ag/ZnO-rGO 하이브리드 나노구조 기반 C2H2 가스센서의 제작과 그 특성 (Fabrication of C2H2 Gas Sensors Based on Ag/ZnO-rGO Hybrid Nanostructures and Their Characteristics)

  • In this work, pure hierarchical ZnO structure was prepared using a simple hydrothermal method, and Ag nanoparticles doped hierarchical ZnO structure was synthesized uniformly through photochemical route. The reduced graphene oxide (rGO) has been synthesized by typical Hummer's method and reduced by hydrazine. Prepared Ag/ZnO nanostructures are uniformly dispersed on the surface of rGO sheets using ultrasonication process. The synthesized samples were characterized by SEM, TEM, EDS, XRD and PL spectra. The average size of prepared ZnO microspheres was around $2{\sim}3{\mu}m$ and showed highly uniform. The average size of doped-Ag nanoparticles was 50 nm and decorated into ZnO/rGO network. The $C_2H_2$ gas sensing properties of as-prepared products were investigated using resistivity-type gas sensor. Ag/ZnO-rGO based sensors exhibited good performances for $C_2H_2$ gas in comparison with the Ag/ZnO. The $C_2H_2$ sensor based on Ag/ZnO-rGO had linear response property from 3~1000 ppm of $C_2H_2$ concentration at working temperature of $200^{\circ}C$. The response values with 100 ppm $C_2H_2$ at $200^{\circ}C$ were 22% and 78% for Ag/ZnO and Ag/ZnO-rGO, respectively. In additions, the sensor still shows high sensitivity and quick response/recovery to $C_2H_2$ under high relative humidity conditions. Moreover, the device shows excellent selectivity towards to $C_2H_2$ gas at optimal working temperature of $200^{\circ}C$.

ProTaper를 사용한 다양한 hybrid instrumentation methods의 근관성형 효율 비교 (Comparison of shaping ability between various hybrid instrumentation methods with ProTaper)

  • 이 연구의 목적은 $ProTaper\^{(R)}$ S1과 3가지 종류의 파일을 각각 같이 사용하는 혼합법의 근관성형 효율을 비교해 보는 것이다. 5년 이상의 임상경력을 가진 치과의사 20명이 Ni-Ti파일 경험자군과 비경험자군으로 나뉘어, $ProTaper\^{(R)}$만을 사용한 C군과 $ProTaper\^{(R)}$ S1과 함께 세 종류의 파일 시스템- $ProFile\^{(R)}$ (P군), $HeroShaper\^{(R)}$ (H군), $K-Flexofile\^{(R)}$ (S군)을 혼합 적용하여, 각각의 방법으로 레진 근관을 성형하였다. 성형 전후 이미지를 중첩 시켜 근관형태 이상을 조사하고, 근단공부터 1, 2, 3mm 위치에서 근관 폭경의 변화량, 중심 변위율을 산출, 비교하여 다음의 결과를 얻었다. C군과 S군 모두 다른 실험군에 비해 성형시간이 많이 소요되었다. 경험자군에 비해 비경험자군에서는 C군과 H군에서 더 많은 시간이 소요되었다 P군의 중심변위율은 $ProTaper\^{(R)}$만을 사용한 C군이나 SS파일을 사용한 S군보다 양호하였다. 마찬가지로, 경험자군의 경우에서는 P군에 추가하여 H군도 더 나은 결과를 보였다 (p<0.05). 이 실험 조건하에, $ProFile\^{(R)}$$HeroShaper\^{(R)}$를 사용한 혼합법이 $ProTaper\^{(R)}$만을 사용한 성형방법보다 더욱 추천된다.

THE GRADIENT RECOVERY FOR FINITE VOLUME ELEMENT METHOD ON QUADRILATERAL MESHES

  • We consider the nite volume element method for elliptic problems using isoparametric bilinear elements on quadrilateral meshes. A gradient recovery method is presented by using the patch interpolation technique. Based on some superclose estimates, we prove that the recovered gradient $R({\nabla}u_h)$ possesses the superconvergence: ${\parallel}{\nabla}u-R({\nabla}u_h){\parallel}=O(h^2){\parallel}u{\parallel}_3$. Finally, some numerical examples are provided to illustrate our theoretical analysis.

  • 본 연구에서는 삼각형의 높이 및 내접원의 반지름에 대한 한 등식을 증명하기 위한 다양한 탐색수행의 방향을 기술하였고, 이를 바탕으로 등식에 대한 다양한 증명방법을 제시하였다. 이를 통해, 체계적인 탐색수행을 통한 다양한 풀이방법 발명의 한 예를 제시하였으며, 다양한 풀이방법에 대한 수학교수학적 논의의 방향과 폭을 확장시킬 수 있는 기초 자료가 될 것으로 기대된다.

Stabilizing Solutions of Algebraic Matrix riccati Equations in TEX>$H_\infty$ Control Problems

  • Algebraic matrix Riccati equations of the form, FP+PF$^{T}$ -PRP+Q=0. are analyzed with reference to the stability of closed-loop system F-PR. Here F, R and Q are n * n real matrices with R=R$^{T}$ and Q=Q$^{T}$ .geq.0 (nonnegative-definite). Such equations have been playing key roles in optimal control and filtering problems with R .geq. 0. and also in the solutions of in H$_{\infty}$ control problems with R taking the form R=H$_{1}$$^{T}$ H$_{1}$-H$_{2}$$^{T}$ H$_{2}$. In both cases an existence of stabilizing solution, i.e. the solution yielding asymptotically stable closed-loop system, is an important problem. First, we briefly review the typical results when R is of definite form, namely either R .geq. 0 as in LQG problems or R .leq. 0. They constitute two extrence cases of Riccati to the cases H$_{2}$=0 and H$_{1}$=0. Necessary and sufficient conditions are shown for the existence of nonnegative-definite or positive-definite stabilizing solution. Secondly, we focus our attention on more general case where R is only assumed to be symmetric, which obviously includes the case for H$_{\infty}$ control problems. Here, necessary conditions are established for the existence of nonnegative-definite or positive-definite stabilizing solutions. The results are established by employing consistently the so-called algebraic method based on an eigenvalue problem of a Hamiltonian matrix.x.ix.x.
