관광지역 외식점포의 운영실태 및 관광객의 - 동해시를 중심으로 - (Analyzing the Current Operating Management and Customer Royalty of Restaurants at Tourism Provineces in Donghea city)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the current operating management practices and tourist royalty of restaurants at the tourism provinces in Donghae city. Forty restaurants were surveyed for sales status, customer management, menu management, advertising, marketing strategy and seventy seven tourists replied to the attitudinal and behavioral aspects of customer royalty for regular visiting restaurant. Statistical data analyses were completed using the SPSS/WIN pact(age program for descriptive analysis, paired difference test, t-test, ANOVA, and pearson correlation. The results of quantitative analysis indicated that the average sales per day on a high-demand season were 1,571 thousand won and one on a slack season were 614 thousand won. The average check on a high-demand season(109 persons) and a slack season(38 persons) were significant difference(t=6.834, p<.001). A total of 93.5% of the restaurateurs answered that menu pricing was decided by the owner and 21.7% of the subjects used the only restaurant homepage in the advertising method. A total of 40.6% of the restaurants utilized the only kind service for regular customers and 35.1% of the subjects had no method for them. The results suggest that systematic management policies and marketing strafes for regular customer is very necessary. Also, the correlation between tourists' attitudinal and behavioral aspects of customer royalty for regular visiting restaurant was found out. High correlation was existed between the overall tourists' satisfaction on regular visiting restaurant, the intention to revisit(BCL 1, p<.001), the intention to recommend(BCL 2, p<.001), and indicators of customer royalty. Finally, restaurateurs at the tourism provinces should focus on marketing strategy to keep and improve current customer to rise the tourist royalty.

Enhancing the Distribution of Community Enterprise Entrepreneurs through Product and Packaging Development of Klong Kone Shrimp Paste (Mesopodopsis) in the Post-Pandemic Era of Samut Songkhram Province

  • Purpose: The current study focused on developing Klong Kone Shrimp Paste (Mesopodopsis) products and packaging, aiming to enhance the capabilities of entrepreneurs with cultural capital in post-pandemic Samut Songkhram Province. Research design, data and methodology: This study sought to analyze product and packaging issues and examine packaging expectations for Klong Kone shrimp paste. A combination of quantitative and qualitative methods was used, including a questionnaire administered to a sample of 400 individuals who purchased community enterprise products. Descriptive analysis, involving percentage, mean, and S.D., along with qualitative analysis through phenomenological methods, such as in-depth interviews and focus groups, were conducted with community enterprise entrepreneurs, experts, and customers. Results: The findings indicate that addressing product conditions and packaging issues with Klong Kone shrimp paste can be achieved by incorporating an attached label on the community product packaging. Conclusion: This approach is necessary due to the lack of community identity reflection and unattractive design, which currently deter customers from considering the products as souvenirs. Additionally, diversifying product offerings is recommended to better align with consumer needs. In terms of packaging expectations, a majority of respondents expressed a strong preference for an attractive appearance.

Enabling Factors Affecting Knowledge Transfer and Business Process of Community Enterprise Groups in Thailand

  • This research aims to study and confirm enabling factors affecting the knowledge transfer and business process of community enterprise groups in Pattani province, Thailand. Key informants were community enterprise entrepreneurs; 30 people were selected purposively with criteria. This study used a mixed-methods approach and conducted semi-structured interviews to collect data. Qualitative data were analyzed using content analysis and classification, while quantitative data were analyzed using descriptive statistics with frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation. Moreover, inferential statistics chi-square value, Phi Cramer's V, and multiple regression analysis with the R program for statistical computing were employed to analyze the relationship between the variables, test the research hypothesis, and create forecasting equations. The research results revealed that the overview of enabling factors had a very high relationship (Cramer's V=0.965). Regarding community enterprise, it was found that enabling factors related to the knowledge transfer and business process consisted of four factors: regulations and administrative guidelines, business plan, reinforcement, and brainstorming. Reinforcement was the factor with the highest degree of correlation (Cramer's V=0.873) and predictor of influence on the knowledge transfer and business process (R2=0.670, p<0.05). This study's findings can lead to the developing of guidelines for promoting community enterprises properly and timely. These guidelines are expected to be used to develop knowledge about business models for community enterprises, which will help to improve their competency and competitiveness.

필댐의 안전관리를 위한 주요 계측 데이터의 최적 분석기법에 대한 사례 연구 (A case study on an optimal analysis technique of primary measurements for safety management of fill dam)

  • 본 연구에서는 필댐의 주요계측기인 침투수량계, 정상침하계, 간극수압계의 최적 분석기법을 제안하기 위해 통계분석을 수행하였고, 이와 더불어 저수위, 강우량 데이터와의 상관관계 분석을 수행하였다. 계측기별 기술통계 분석 결과를 토대로 간극수압계는 주성분 분석을 통해 3그룹 또는 2그룹으로 분류가 가능하였고, 저수위가 상관성이 큰 그룹의 경우는 계측기 간의 상관성도 크게 나타났다. 침투수량의 경우는 극심한 비대칭 분포를 보이고 있어 정량적 분석을 위해 분류나무 분석을 통해 무강수, 강수시의 평균 침투수량을 추정할 수 있었다. 정상침하계의 경우는 상관분석 결과 계측기간의 상관성은 큰 것으로 나타났지만, 저수위계와의 관계에서는 유의미한 선형관계를 나타내지 못하여 이를 보다 상세히 분석하기 위해 EMD분석을 수행 하였다. 필댐의 주요 계측항목으로 간극수압계, 침투수량계, 정상침하계의 거동분석을 위해서는 각각 주성분 분석, 분류나무 분석, 데이터 필터 기법을 적용이 가능할 것으로 판단되며, 향후 유사한 계측항목에 적용이 가능할 것으로 판단된다.

뽕잎 분말 첨가 쌀 파스타 제조의 최적화에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Optimization of Rice Pasta with Addition of Mulberry Leaf Powder)

  • 본 연구는 쌀로 만든 생 파스타 제조시 약이성 재료인 뽕잎 분말을 첨가하여 기능성 파스타로써 이용 가능성을 알아보고자 하였다. 예비 실험을 거쳐 강력분 40 g과 쌀가루 60 g에 0.5, 1.0, 1.5, 2.0%의 뽕잎 분말을 쌀 파스타에 첨가하여 제조한 후 기계적 검사(수분 함량, 색도, 텍스쳐, 인장)와 관능검사(정량적 묘사 분석, 기호도 검사)를 실시하였다. 뽕잎가루 첨가군은 첨가량이 증가할수록 생면 쌀 파스타의 수분 함량이 유의적(p<0.01)으로 낮아지는 경향을 보였고, 색도는 뽕잎 첨가량이 증가할수록 명도와 적색도는 유의적(p<0.001)으로 낮아졌고, 황색도는 유의적인 차이가 없었다. 뽕잎 분말을 첨가한 쌀 파스타의 숙면 경도(hardness)는 시료 간에 유의적인 차이를 보였고, 부착성(adhesiveness), 씹힘성(chewiness)은 유의적인 차이가 없었다. 생면의 인장 길이 (tension distance)는 MRP 0.5(4.73)가 가장 높았는데, 이는 뽕잎 분말의 수분 함량이 적기 때문에 뽕잎가루 첨가량이 증가할수록 인장 길이가 감소되는 것으로 사료된다. 인장 강도(tension force)는 MRP 0.5(34.47)로 가장 컸으며, 뽕잎가루 첨가량이 증가할수록 인장 강도가 감소하였다. 조리면의 인장 길이(tension distance)는 뽕잎 분말은 첨가하지 않은 CON이 가장 높은 값을 나타내었으나, 유의적인 차이를 보이지 않았으며, 인장 강도(tension force)는 유의적(p<0.001)인 차이를 보였다. 정량적 묘사 분석 결과, 뽕잎가루의 첨가량이 증가할수록 뽕잎의 색, 풋내, 고소한 냄새, 쓴맛, 깔깔한 맛은 강하게 윤기와 쫀득한 정도는 약하게 평가되었고, 기호도 검사 결과, 색, 냄새, 텍스쳐, 전체적인 기호도에서 MRP 1.5가 가장 기호도가 높았다. 따라서 적절한 뽕잎의 첨가는 전체적인 기호도에 긍정적인 영향을 미치며, 뽕잎가루 1.5%, 첨가시 쌀 파스타의 관능적 및 기계적인 품질 특성의 향상이 가능한 가장 적절한 첨가 수준이라고 사료된다.

지역분석을 위한 웹 기반 통계GIS 연구 (A Study on the Statistical GIS for Regional Analysis)

  • 우리 나라 국가지정통계자료는 대부분 행정구역을 기초단위로 하는 지리/지역정보로서 계량적 지역분석기법을 통해서 그 가치가 더해진다. 본 연구는 지역분석을 위한 통계정보 및 통계지도 서비스 시스템의 한 선도적 모델을 제시하는데 그 목적을 둔다. 본 연구에서는 서울시를 사례로 하여 인구주택 총조사 및 사업체기초통계 원시자료 등을 재 집계하여 지역통계 데이터베이스를 구축하였다. 통계GIS의 핵심 지역분석모듈은 사회경제 자료분석에서 활용의 빈도가 높은 지역구조 및 격차 분석, 공간 분산분석, 상관분석, 회귀 및 잔차분석, 공간적 자기상관분석 등으로 구성되었다. 시스템 설계는 지역통계 데이터베이스와 지역분석기법 모듈, 그리고 통계지고를 웹 환경에서 통합하기 위해 어플리케이션 서버를 포함한 다양한 정보기반기술을 채택하여 이루어졌다. 지역분석을 위한 입출력 과정에서 대화형 통계지도가 사용된다. 본 연구를 통해 제안된 통계 GIS의 특징은 미리 저장된 데이터와 분석기능이 사용자와의 양방향 웹 인터페이스를 통해 제한 없이 확장될 수 있다는 점이다. 사용자의 요구에 따라 분석변수의 자유로운 변형과 합성이 연산자 구문해석기를 통해 가능하고, 이를 바탕으로 새로운 지역분석 알고리즘의 구현이 실시간으로 가능하다. 또한 데이터 측면에서는 사용자가 업로드한 자료를 잠정적으로 시스템에 통합하여 확장된 가상 데이터베이스를 만들고 이에 대해 여러 분석을 수행할 수 있다. 웹 기반 통계GIS 모델의 초기평가를 통해 각종 지역통해자료로부터 주문형 통계지도의 작성과 유통이 동시에 가능함이 확인되었다.

Determining Unemployment Factors Among Job Seeking Youth in the East Coast of Peninsular Malaysia

  • This study examines factors of unemployment and career path challenges commonly faced by youth in the East Coast of Peninsular Malaysia. The study employed a quantitative approach which involved a total of 1,083 youths in Kelantan, Pahang and Terengganu selected at random. Descriptive and multiple regression analysis (OLS) methods were used to analyze demographic distribution of youth in determining factors influencing unemployment among them. The results reveal that the majority of youth respondents in the East Coast states of Malaysia are still unemployed and actively seeking employment. Demographic profiles are based on the survey results, youths seeking employment with 36 per cent distribution in Kelantan, 34 per cent in Pahang, and 30 per cent in Terengganu. Majority of the respondents were youths aged 20 to 24 years with a 40.9 percent percentage. The findings show that there are differences in factors affecting youth unemployment in the three states of East Coast, Malaysia. For Kelantan (age, experience, work mobility, marital status), Pahang (experience, marital status) and Terengganu (experience, gender, marital status, training). This study suggests that youths should be wise in preparing for their career by choosing the right career as well as doing side jobs to gain experience before they pursue for a real job.

Effect of Pre-cooking Conditions on the Quality Characteristics of Ready-To-Eat Samgyetang

  • The aim of this study was to examine the effectiveness of pre-cooking conditions on the quality characteristics of ready-to-eat (RTE) Samgyetang. Raw chickens were steamed under the different conditions of 50℃/30 min (T1), 65℃/30 min (T2), 85℃/30 min (T3), and 90℃/10 min (T4) prior to retorting at 120℃ for 65 min. The results showed that pre-cooking conditions in all treated samples could reduce fat contents in breast and leg meats by 8.5-11.7% and 10.0-11.0% compared to the control, even though there were no significant differences among treatments (p>0.05). The L* and b* values of breast and leg meats treated with the higher temperature and longer time conditions were significantly higher than the control (p<0.05), while a* values tended to decrease despite of not to a significant extent (p>0.05). Moreover, apparent viscosity and water soluble protein showed insignificant differences (p>0.05) among the samples as a result of the retorting process, which might have more negative influences on the quality. T2 samples obtained significantly the highest average Quantitative Descriptive Analysis (QDA) score and transmittance value, representing the most clear broth among the samples, compared to the control. On the other hand, T3 showed the highest cooking loss among the treatments and the lowest QDA scores among the samples. In conclusion, pre-cooking treatment prior to retorting in manufacturing Samgyetang is a plausible way to reduce its fat content. A pre-cooking condition at either 65℃ for 30 min, or 90℃ for 10 min are recommended for producing Samgyetang with optimum quality.

농촌노인의 지역사회 복지서비스 이용실태 - ‘노인생활지도마을’을 대상으로 - (The Study of Community-oriented Welfare Service for the Rural Elderly - Focused on ′Villages Supported by Special Programs for the Rural Elderly′ -)

  • In Korea, as the elderly population is growing, the quality of life of the rural elderly is becoming a major concern. By the way, social welfare services is less available and accessible to the rural elderly. And we have very limited information about community -oriented welfare services for the elderly. The lack of social welfare services in rural area resulted from mainly geographic isolation and economic deprivation. So, the present research aimed at; 1) to explore what the social welfare service is benefited from governmental or local assembly. 2) to explore what kind of community services is provided for the rural village and elderly. 3) to appear the political propose for the rural elderly. In South Korea, The Rural Development Administration currently operate 'villages which is supported special programs for the improvement of QOL of rural elderly' in 110 villages. It is a model governmental welfare service for rural area. For the purpose, the survey data is gathered from community level data per village (107 villages), individual survey data(881people) who live in the village and qualitative data. Two kinds of quantitative data is combined to form a data. The statistical methods used for data analysis are descriptive statistics, t-test and ANOVA. The major findings of this study were as follows : It was founded that the majority family type of the rural elderly is elderly-only households(75%). In case of poor elderly, they have very limited social insurance benefit and they can not get medical services with satisfaction. The result show that the welfare facilities per village and welfare service for the elderly is extremely low while the needs of welfare service is greate high. A distinctive characteristics in rural villages is that they receive a lot of services from private sectors, like as Women Farmers Union, Adult Union. They operate voluntary welfare services related to food supporting, education for the elderly, free haircut services and so on. In conclusion, the community care services from private sector has specialty in rural area. We conclude it is a distinguishing characteristic of rural community.

암 환자의 연령에 따른 정서반응과 대처양상 (The Emotional Response and Coping Pattern by Age among Patients with Cancer)

  • Purpose: The aim of this study was to investigate the differences in emotional response and coping pattern by age among cancer patients. Method: As descriptive research, from November 2000 to April 2001, data was collected with semi-structured questionnaire to 90 adult cancer patients, and analyzed using quantitative analysis. Result: Most emotional response at the time of diagnosis of cancer is despair in 20-39years & more than 60 years, and Impact in 40-59years. In emotional response during treatment by age, there were most much hope in 20-39 years, fear in 40-59years, and acceptance in more than 60years. In difficulties by age during treatment, there were most much mental burden in 20-29years, problems about occupation/finance in 40-59years, and physical discomfort related to treatment in more than 60 years. Resolution of difficulties of treatment shows avoidance in 20-39years, active participation in 40-59years and compliance in more than 60 years. Coping pattern during treatment was positive thinking in 20-39years, refreshment in 40-59years, and despair/avoidance in more than 60 years. Coping with treatment & progress shows in 20-39years maintenance of current health, 40-59years impossible to recover, more than 60year health recovery. Conclusion: Nursing could be considered emotional response and coping pattern according to age.
