Recently, as mobile internet users grow rapidly, mobile internet companies are experiencing a fierce competition to capture new customers. Under this business environment, they try to identify factors that make people use mobile internet in order to satisfy customers by providing better and diversified services. There has been enormous effort to analyze customers' behavior in choose and use mobile internet services. However, there is no one best methodology to identify factors to attract customers yet. Thus, the study applied the flow construct proposed by Csikszentmihalyi(1977) and expanded by Hoffman and Novak(1996) to identify environmental factors of internet which has impact on users' mobile internet usage. To implement the study, the following activities have been done: literature reviews on service acceptance model and flow structure, questionnaire survey, suggestion of the flow model on mobile internet, and hypothesis test. For the study, 242 out of 307 samples collected were statistically analyzed using SPSS 10.0, AMOS 4.0 statistics package. The findings of this study are as follows: First, mobile internet environment factors influencing on challenge of flow antecedent were media characteristics(use of convenience, transmission quality), contents characteristics(uniqueness, timeliness, simplicity). Second, mobile internet environment factors influencing on skill of flow antecedent were contents(uniqueness, timeliness, simplicity), charge(definiteness and diversity of charge), usage(security, instant connectivity). Third, challenge of flow antecedent had a significant effect on flow of mobile internet usage. But it was not statistically significant that skill has an influence on flow. This study discovered the relationship between mobile internet environment factors(media characteristics, contents characteristics, charge characteristics, usage characteristics) and flow experience of mobile internet users which would be a valuable insight for marketing strategies. Results shows that challenge of flow antecedent have a significant impact on flow experience in mobile internet environment. Additional, media characteristics, contents characteristics of mobile internet environment factors is positively correlated with challenge of flow antecedent. In other words, mobile internet companies should provide customers with diverse service and take a challenging attitude to get customers show aggressive attitude in mobile internet usage.
This study aims to explore the characteristics of environmental catalysts which have affected the development of music giftedness of the disadvantaged students. For this purpose, this study deals with nineteen disadvantaged gifted in music and examines their self-evaluation test, personal statement, and interview. Based on Gagn$\acute{e}$'s environmental catalysts of differentiated model of giftedness and talent(DMGT), the analysis of the interviews conveys the milieu of the disadvantaged gifted hardly exerts positive influences on their musical activities and studies. While concerning music and supporting their children financially and emotionally, parents unintentionally tend to exert negative influences on their children for their misapprehension of giftedness and incompetent advice. On the whole, the disadvantaged gifted hardly admit their teachers as experts in music. In relation to provisions, most students participate in extra school and local program and none of them participates in music gifted program. They are not satisfied with the quality in education. Despite the importance of the events such as crystallizing experience, award-winning, and performance, most students don't have enough events for inspiring their giftedness. As a conclusion, this study gives a proposition for a strategy to improve the environmental catalysts for the disadvantaged gifted in many different ways: the improvement of social recognition, the enhancement of parent consulting and teachers training programs, and the development and diffusions of more qualified gifted programs and so on.
This paper presents an evaluation index for the supply levels of pedestrian facilities in residential area planning. The pedestrian facility supply levels reveal the quality of a residential area, and can be associated with the resident living standards and satisfaction, pedestrian safety levels, and the effectiveness of the construction cost. This research conducted multifaceted procedures for the index development, and these procedures start first by identifying dominant influencing factors on pedestrian travel demand by reviewing the final reports of site planning in more than eight already-completed residential development sites. Second, based on the Space Syntax model, which was initially developed in the UK by establishing statistical relationships among an integration index, population size (persons/day), and the total development area, this research formulated a set of pedestrian demand estimation models. Then these models were utilized in forming a pedestrian facility supply index by integrating the new models and their results with the available accepted practice in the residential planning sector. This was necessary because planners want to understand the total supply level of pedestrian facilities in a residential area during the initial design stage. Finally, to test the model validity in satisfying pedestrian satisfaction, the research included a resident satisfaction interview, and it was revealed that the evaluation index developed in this research could provide planners and engineers with more promising results. It is therefore anticipated that this research can be of service when designing pedestrian facilities in future residential area planning and design activities.
Purpose: Unmanned air vehicle (UAV) remote sensing was applied to test various vegetation indices and make prediction models of protein content of rice for monitoring grain quality and proper management practice. Methods: Image acquisition was carried out by using NIR (Green, Red, NIR), RGB and RE (Blue, Green, Red-edge) camera mounted on UAV. Sampling was done synchronously at the geo-referenced points and GPS locations were recorded. Paddy samples were air-dried to 15% moisture content, and then dehulled and milled to 92% milling yield and measured the protein content by near-infrared spectroscopy. Results: Artificial neural network showed the better performance with $R^2$ (coefficient of determination) of 0.740, NSE (Nash-Sutcliffe model efficiency coefficient) of 0.733 and RMSE (root mean square error) of 0.187% considering all 54 samples than the models developed by PR (polynomial regression), SLR (simple linear regression), and PLSR (partial least square regression). PLSR calibration models showed almost similar result with PR as 0.663 ($R^2$) and 0.169% (RMSE) for cloud-free samples and 0.491 ($R^2$) and 0.217% (RMSE) for cloud-shadowed samples. However, the validation models performed poorly. This study revealed that there is a highly significant correlation between NDVI (normalized difference vegetation index) and protein content in rice. For the cloud-free samples, the SLR models showed $R^2=0.553$ and RMSE = 0.210%, and for cloud-shadowed samples showed 0.479 as $R^2$ and 0.225% as RMSE respectively. Conclusion: There is a significant correlation between spectral bands and grain protein content. Artificial neural networks have the strong advantages to fit the nonlinear problem when a sigmoid activation function is used in the hidden layer. Quantitatively, the neural network model obtained a higher precision result with a mean absolute relative error (MARE) of 2.18% and root mean square error (RMSE) of 0.187%.

Kompsat-3 is an optical high-resolution earth observation satellite launched in May 2012. In addition to its 0.7m spatial resolution, Kompsat-3 is capable of in-track stereo acquisition enabling quality Digital Elevation Model(DEM) generation. Typical DEM generation procedure requires accurate control points well-distributed over the entire image region. But we often face difficult situations especially when the area of interests is oversea or inaccessible area. One solution to this is to use existing geospatial data even though they only cover a part of the image. This paper aimed to assess accuracy of DEM from Kompsat-3 with different scenarios including no control point, Rational Polynomial Coefficients(RPC) relative adjustment, and RPC adjustment with control points. Experiments were carried out for Kompsat-3 stereo data in USA. We used Digital Orthophoto Quadrangle(DOQ) and Shuttle Radar Topography Mission(SRTM) as control points sources. The generated DEMs are compared to a LiDAR DEM for accuracy assessment. The test results showed that the relative RPC adjustment significantly improved DEM accuracy without any control point. And comparable DEM could be derived from single control point from DOQ and SRTM, showing 7 meters of mean elevation error.

The Purpose of this study is to develop an evaluation model for usability of research data service from the angles of evaluating usefulness of research data service itself and research data use experience-based usability. First, the various cases of evaluating usability of data services are examined and 4 rating scales and 20 measuring indicators for research data service are derived as a result of comparative analysis. In order to verify validity and reliability of the rating scale and the measuring indicators, the study conducted a survey of 164 potential research data users. KMO Bartlett Analysis was performed for validity test, and Principle Component Analysis and Verimax Rotating Method were used for component analysis on measuring indicators. The result shows that the 4 intrinsic rating scales satisfy the validity criteria of KMO Barlett; A single component was determined from component analysis, which verifies the validity of measuring indicators of the current rating scale. However, the result of 12 user experience-based measuring indicators analysis identified 2 components that are each classified as rating scale of utilization level and that of participation level. Cronbach's alpha of all 6 rating scales was 0.6 or more for the overall scale.

This study was conducted to develop site index equations and to estimate productive areas of Quercus acutissima by ecoprovince in Korea using environmental factors. Using the large data set from both a digital forest site map and a climatic map, a total of 48 environmental factors including 19 climatic variables were regressed on site index to develop site index equations. Four to six environmental factors for Quercus acutissima by ecoprovince were selected as independent variables in the final site index equations. The result showed that the coefficients of determination for site index equations were ranged from 0.30 to 0.41, which seem to be relatively low but good enough for the estimation of forest stand productivity. The site index equations developed in this study were also verified by three evaluation statistics such as the estimation bias of model, precision of model, and mean square error of measurement. According to the evaluation statistics, it was found that the site index equations fitted well to the test data sets with relatively low bias and variation. As a result, it was concluded that the site index equations were well capable of estimating site quality. Based on the site index equations of Quercus acutissima by ecoprovince, the productive areas by ecoprovince were estimated by applying GIS technique to the digital forest site map and climate map. In addition, the distribution of productive areas by ecoprovince was illustrated by using GIS technique.
Web GIS, based on the latest web-technology, has evolved to provide efficient and accurate spatial information to users. Furthermore, Web GIS Server has improved the performance constantly to respond user web requests and to offer spatial information service. This research aims to create a designed and implemented Web GIS Server that is named as Nodemap which uses the emergent technology, Node.js, which has been issued for an event-oriented, non-blocking I/O model framework for coding JavaScript on the server development. Basically, NodeMap is Web GIS Server that supports OGC implementation specification. It is designed to process GIS data by using DBMS, which supports spatial index and standard spatial query function. And NodeMap uses Node-Canvas module supported HTML5 canvas to render spatial information on tile map. Lastly, NodeMap uses Express module based connect module framework. NodaMap performance demonstration confirmed a possibility of applying Node.js as a (next/future) Web GIS Server development technology through the benchmarking. Having completed its quality test of NodeMap, this study has shown the compatibility and potential for Node.js as a Web GIS server development technology, and has shown the bright future of internet GIS service.
