  • This paper investigates how airline service quality determines airline image and passengers' future behavioural intentions. To investigate the effect of airline service quality, Structural Equation Modeling using a maximum likelihood estimator, was applied to data collected from Korean international air passengers who have used Korean Airlines, Asiana Airlines, and other foreign airline. It was found that there were significant relationships between the variables. The dimension of in-flight service and the dimension of customer and flight related service were each found to have a positive effect on airline image. In addition, airline image had a significant positive influence on Korean international air passengers' future behavioural intentions.

  • Digital watermarking is a technology for preventing illegal copying, for protecting intellectual property rights and copyrights, and for suggesting grounds of the ownership by inserting watermarks into digital contents. Generally speaking, watermarking techniques cannot escape from data distortion and quality degradation due to the watermark insertion. In order to overcome the shortcoming, zero-watermarking techniques which do not change the original data have been proposed recently. This paper proposes CSMVQ(Chaotic SMVQ), a zero-watermarking system for SMVQ(Side Match Vector Quantization) which shows better compression ratio and quality and less blocking effect than VQ(Vector Quantization). In SMVQ, compression progresses from left top to right bottom in order to use the information of the two neighbor blocks, so it is impossible to insert watermarks chaotically. In the process of encoding, CSMVQ dynamically considers the information of the (1 to 4) neighbor blocks already encoded. Therefore, watermark can be inserted into digital contents in chaotic way. Experimental results show that the image quality compressed by CSMVQ is better than that of SMVQ and the inserted watermark is robust against some common attacks.

  • In this paper, we propose a new design of circulation system of digital music contents in P2P service. It has functions of contents recognition, management of copyright DB, clearing house to perform payment system of P2P service. In P2P service each user provides his music contents, but in other circulation system, service providers provide their music contents. Therefore it is very difficult for each provider to recognize whatever the quality of distributing contents are good or not. Most circulation systems use hash technology or contents recognition technology for the recognition of contents. For the usability and efficiency this proposed system provides the combining technology of hash processing and contents recognition.

  • In a VoIP(Voice over IP) system which support the realtime speech service, speech quality is deteriorated by the delay, the jitter, the loss, and the reversed packet order. In this thesis, APBC for receiver site is proposed, which compensate the jitter by the adaptive playout algorithm and conceal the packet loss, and align the packet order. Also, a VoIP application system is implemented, and the performance of APBC is verified on the implemented system by measuring the processing speed and the speech quality. From the result, processing speed is 257$\mu$sec, which is fast enough to deal with packet being received in realtime. Also, the speech quality by MOS(Mean Opinion Score) is improved as 18 percent compared with algorithm of fixed playout delay.

  • Most organizations adopt a process-based approach to manage their operations and now business process management(BPM) is a well-established concept. Because ISO 9001:2000 has been influenced by BPR and it also emphasizes process based, BPM can get together with ISO 9001:2000. Korea Institute of Science and Technology Information has taken ISO 9001:2000 certificate in November 11, 2003 and has implemented quality management systems based on BPM. We call it KQMS(KISTI Quality Management System). KQMS based on BPMS is a new example in field of ISO quality management and is expected to support process management well.

  • The amount of required forage is increasing by 20% every year in South Korea, but the cultivation area for forage production is limited. The yield ability of triticale forage is the highest among the winter forage crops including rye and the crop has cold tolerance within the average low temperature of -10℃ in January. Therefore, this study analyzed effects of sowing and harvesting times on feed value and quality for efficiently using and supplying triticale as livestock feed. Seed of the triticales, 'Joseong' was sown in 2021 fall (October) and 2022 spring (March). The triticales were harvested according to growth stages: seedling stage, booting stage, heading stage, 10 days after heading, and 20 days after heading. Moisture contents of each harvested triticales were adjusted to about 60%, and then the triticales were fermented for 40 days at room temperature under anaerobic conditions as silage. We have analyzed pH and organic acid to determine the feed value and quality of each silage. The contents of lactic acid in silage ofthe triticale harvested at the seedling stage of both fall and spring-sown (1.61%, 1.63%) were the highest among all of the silages; the booting stage (0.75%, 1.33%), the heading stage (0.50%, 0.69%), 10 days after the heading stage (0.31%, 0.42%), and 20 days after heading stage (0.22%, 0.40%). Such as the contents of lactic acid in the silages, and the pH value of the silages The pH value in both the fall- and spring-sown became lower as the triticale was grown up: seedling stage (7.05, 6.85), booting stage (6.21, 6.75), heading stage (6.18, 6.28), 10 days after heading stage (6.22, 6.17), and 20 days after heading stage (6.15, 5.81). Taken together, the results showed that the feed value and quality of triticale silage were more affected by harvesting time than sowing time.

  • Rapeseed (Brassica napus L.) oil is mostly refined oil (RO). However, with increasing interest in health, the consumption of cold-pressed oil (CPO) without chemical refining is increasing in Korea. In this study, quality characteristics of CPO from rapeseed varieties 'Jungmo7001', 'Jungmo7002', 'Jungmo7003', and 'Yuryeo' were evaluated and compared with RO, a commercial product. L-value and a-value were lower while b-value was significantly higher for CPO than those for RO. Analysis of fatty acid compositions of each oil revealed that CPO from 'Yuryeo' contained the highest oleic acid at 74%. Analyses of contents of bioactive compounds in CPOs and RO revealed that contents of tocopherol, 𝛽-carotene, and canolol were the highest in CPOs from 'Jungmo7003', 'Jungmo7002', and 'Jungmo7001' at 55.5, 0.3, and 0.2 mg/100 g, respectively. In addition, CPOs contained higher contents of bioactive compounds than RO, suggesting that CPO could provide health benefits. The induction period of CPOs measured using Rancimat were 9~52% longer than that for RO, indicating that CPOs had a higher oxidative stability under given conditions. These results could be used to obtain basic data on quality of domestic rapeseed varieties.
