In this paper, we propose an image enhancement algorithm to improve license plate extraction rate in various environments (Day Street, Night Street, Underground parking lot, etc.). The proposed algorithm is composed of image enhancement algorithm and license plate extraction algorithm. The image enhancement method can improve an image quality of the degraded image, which utilizes a histogram information and overall gray level distribution of an image. The proposed algorithm employs an interpolated probability distribution value (PDV) in order to control a sudden change in image brightness. Probability distribution value can be calculated using cumulative distribution function (CDF) and probability density function (PDF) of the captured image, whose values are achieved by brightness distribution of the captured image. Also, by adjusting the image enhancement factor of each part region based on image pixel information, it provides a function that can adjust the gradation of the image in more details. This processed gray image is converted into a binary image, which fuses narrow breaks and long thin gulfs, eliminates small holes, and fills gaps in the contour by using morphology operations. Then license plate region is detected based on aspect ratio and license plate size of the bound box drawn on connected license plate areas. The images have been captured by using a video camera or a personal image recorder installed in front of the cars. The captured images have included several license plates on multilane roads. Simulation has been executed using OpenCV and MATLAB. The results show that the extraction success rate is more improved than the conventional algorithms.

본 연구는 우리나라에서 연구된 대학생 대상 의미증진 프로그램의 효과에 관한 문헌을 융합적으로 살펴보고 대학생 대상의 의미증진 프로그램의 내용적 형식적 특성과 의미증진 효과를 분석하기 위하여 실시되었다. 2021년 5월까지 국내에서 출판된 연구논문과 학위논문 중 대학생의 의미증진을 목적으로 한 연구를 대상으로 문헌을 수집하였다. 2021년 6월 10일부터 20일까지 6개의 데이터베이스를 사용하여 '의미요법' OR '로고테라피' OR '의미치료' OR '삶의 의미' OR '의미'로 검색을 실시하였다. 최종 선정된 논문은 7편을 두 명의 독립된 연구자가 표준화된 도구를 사용하여 비뚤림 위험과 연구의 질평가를 수행하였다. 7편의 의미증진 프로그램은 모두 대학생의 삶의 의미 발견에 효과가 있었으며, 단일중재와 병합중재 모두 효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 대학생 대상 의미증진 프로그램의 효과크기 분석을 위해서는 향후 무작위 대조군 실험연구가 시행될 필요가 있다.

Service quality is defined as the perceived difference between performed service and expected service. In this paper, theme park service quality is conceptualized in relation to consumer's total satisfaction on theme park visitation. A 20-item scale was constructed to measure Theme Park Service Quality. The following four steps were employed in developing the service quality measure: 1)identification of service quality dimensions, 2)development of scales from a set of items describing the dimensions, 3)empirical verification of the scale's construct validity which refers to dimensionality, convergent validity, and nomological validity, and 4)confirmation of the utility. The scale was found to be an empirically valid and reliable evaluation tool for service quality enhancement. In addition, the scale would be an useful criterion for market segmentation and positioning.

The improvement of quality is a continuous process and one of the main objectives of the Statistical Strategy launched by the Korea National Statistical Office (KNSO) is the enhancement of the quality of Korea national statistics. In this paper, we define the processing statistic, classify the Korea national processing statistics, and develop the quality indicators and check list for assessing the national processing statistics of Korea. During its development, the indicators has been discussed with the processing statistic managers of the KNSO and the checklist tested in a pilot study covering a variety of processing statistic areas.

본 논문에서는 재난 환경과 같은 환경에서의 음성 처리를 위해 실제 드론 소음 데이터를 수집하여 오염 음성 데이터베이스를 구축하고 음성 향상 기법인 스펙트럼 차감법과 심층 신경망을 이용한 마스크 기반 음성 향상 기법을 적용하여 성능을 평가한다. 기존의 심층 신경망 기반의 음성 향상 모델인 VoiceFilter(VF)의 성능 향상을 위해 Self-Attention 연산을 적용하고 추정한 잡음 정보를 Attention 모델의 입력으로 이용한다. 기존 VF 모델 기법과 비교하여 Source to Distortion Ratio(SDR), Perceptual Evaluation of Speech Quality(PESQ), Short-Time Objective Intelligibility(STOI)에 대해 각각 3.77 %, 1.66 %, 0.32 % 향상된 결과를 나타낸다. 인터넷에서 수집한 오염 음성 데이터를 75 % 혼합하여 훈련한 경우, 실제 드론 소음만을 사용한 경우에 비해 상대적인 성능 하락률 평균이 SDR, PESQ, STOI에 대해 각각 3.18 %, 2.79 %, 0.96 %를 나타낸다. 이는 실제 데이터를 취득하기 어려운 환경에서 실제 데이터와 유사한 데이터를 수집하여 음성 향상을 위한 모델 훈련에 효과적으로 활용할 수 있음을 확인해준다.

Purpose : Computed radiography (CR) has been used in cephalometric radiography and many studies have been carried out to improve image quality using various digital enhancement and filtering techniques, During CR image acquisition, the frequency rank and type affect to the image quality. The aim of this study was to compare the diagnostic quality of conventional cephalometric radiographs to those of computed radiography. Materials and Methods : The diagnostic quality of conventional cephalometric radiographs (MO) and their digital image counterparts were compared, and at the same time, six modalities (M1-M6) of spatial frequency-processed digital images were compared by evaluating the reproducibility of 23 cephalometric landmark locations. Reproducibility was defined as an observer's deviation (in mm) from the mean between all observers. Results and Conclusion: In comparison with the conventional cephalometric radiograph (MO), Ml showed statistically significant differences in 8 locations, M2 in 9, M3 12, M4 in 7, M5 in 12, and M6 showed significant differences in 14 of 23 landmark locations (p < 0.05). The number of reproducible landmarks that each modality possesses were 7 in M6, 6 in M5, 5 in M3, 4 in M4, 3 in M2, 2 in Ml, and 1 location in MO. The image modality that observers selected as having the best image quality was M5.

인터넷을 통하여 다른 서비스에 비해 상대적으로 많은 대역폭을 필요로 하는 비디오 스트리밍 서비스를 제공할 경우, 다른 플로우들과의 형평성을 제공하면서 비디오 서비스의 품질을 보장해야한다. 이를 위하여 본 논문에서는 스케일러블 비디오 압축 스트림에 대한 멀티채널 TCP-friendly 스트리밍 기법을 제안하였다. 제안 구조는 스케일러블 비디오 코딩으로 압축된 비디오 정보를 기본계층(baseline layer)은 TCP를 이용하여 손실 없이 전송하고 상위계층(enhancement layer)는 TFRC (TCP friendly rate control)을 이용하여 전송하도록 하였다. 이때, TFRC로 전송되는 상위계층 레이어에 대한 전송률은 수신측 재생버퍼의 상태와 전송 미디어의 계층별 부호화율을 고려하여 적응적으로 결정되도록 제안하였다. 시뮬레이션 결과를 통하여, 이러한 적응적 전송률 제어를 통하여 제안 스트리밍 방식이 기존 방식에 비해 네트워크 상황변화에 신속히 적응하고 혼잡상황에서도 일정수준의 서비스 품질을 보장함을 확인 할 수 있다.

무선 멀티캐스트 서비스는 동일한 콘텐츠를 다수의 사람들에게 동시에 전송함으로써 네트워크 자원을 보다 효율적으로 이용할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 더 나은 무선 멀티미디어 스트리밍 멀티캐스트 서비스를 제공하기 위하여 Quality-Aware Rate Adaptation(QARA) 기법을 제시한다. QARA에서는 콘텐츠의 종류와 사용자의 채널 환경에 따라 멀티캐스트 프레임의 전송 속도가 결정된다. 기본 계층은 높은 신뢰성을 보장하기 위하여 낮은 속도를 이용하여 모든 사용자들에게 전송됨으로써 기본적인 서비스 품질을 제공한다. 반면, 향상 계층의 프레임 전송 속도는 무작위로 선출된 노드의 채널 환경 피드백 정보를 통하여 결정된다. 콘텐츠 전송 중에 이러한 과정을 반복함으로써 다양한 전송 속도를 사용하고, 각 노드들에게 채널 환경에 따라 차등적인 서비스를 제공할 수 있다. 결과적으로 QARA는 이동 노드들이 다양하게 분포되어 있는 환경에 사용될 수 있으며, 네트워크 자원을 보다 효율적으로 이용할 수 있다. 시뮬레이션 결과는 QARA가 기존 연구들에 비하여 높은 가능 전송 속도 활용률을 보임으로써 콘텐츠 전송 시간을 단축시킬 수 있음을 보여준다.

Understanding the antecedents of high public usage of national R&D facilities is a critical issue for both academics and facility managers. Previous researchrelated to general service management has identified service quality and user satisfaction as important antecedents of reuse and recommendation intention. The current paper reports findings from a survey which looked into the impact of service quality dimensions and user satisfaction on reuse and recommendation intention in the field of R&D facility public usage. Findings indicate that service quality appears to be linked to user satisfaction, and user satisfaction to be linked to reuse and recommendation intention. Findings also indicate that user satisfaction played as a mediator on the relationship between service quality and reuse/recommendation intentions in R&D facility public usage domain.

This study investigates a buyer-supplier supply chain, in which a buyer delegates the production process to a supplier as in many practices. The consumer's buying intention and overall supply chain performance are affected not only by the buyer's decision on sales price but also by the supplier's decision on product quality. Therefore, the buyer has a motivation to control the supplier's quality investment. Among various incentive schemes that the buyer can adopt in practice, we consider a revenue-sharing contract and investigate its unique characteristics. By comparison with a typical wholesale price contract, we reveal that the revenue-sharing contract can enhance supply chain's overall performance, including quality, demand, and profits of not only overall supply chain but also each player. We contribute to the academia and the supply chain practice by providing important guidelines in adopting incentive schemes and effectively managing product quality in a supply chain.
