This study presents the alternative evaluation technique for the high-rise building structural system. The alternative evaluation of the structural system is performed in three steps, that is, preliminary evaluation, main evaluation and detailed evaluation. The evaluation categories are composed of structural performance, economic feasibility and term of work. Each categories are composed of detailed items to evaluate of its own. In preliminary evaluation, qualitative evaluation based on experimental knowledge is performed. In main and detailed evaluations, quantitative evaluations based on numeric data are performed. The weighted-sum method is applied to integrate the evaluated results of each items and its importance. The applicability of the proposed method was verified by applying it to the practical buildings and simulate the procedures.
Korean medical welfare facilities for the elderly provide the conveniences to care geriatric illness such as dementia and stroke. The medical welfare facility categorizes elderly care facilities, nursing homes, and geriatrics hospitals based on the Korean welfare of the aged act. The government makes an effort to secure feed rate and finances of medical welfare facilities. However, the qualitative improvement of facilities is inadequate. The purpose of this study is to analyze the conditions and problems of existing facilities using an environmental evaluation and to discuss the improvement direction related to the daycare centers for the elderly. The method of this study is literature review and field survey. Firstly, we analyzed the previous studies to develop the tool, evaluating the environment of day care centers for the old. Secondly, the items of environmental evaluation are deduced. Thirdly, we select the facilities to conduct field survey and analyze the results of field survey. Lastly, We discussed the problems and improvement directions through the results. It is judged that this study is an useful as the basic guideline to strengthen the minimum legal standards of day care center for the elderly due to the suggestion of insufficient environmental evaluation items.
Purpose: The purpose of this study was to develop and test the psychometric properties of the newly developed instrument, Meaning in Life, for elderly Korean people. Methods: Ten older adults participated in the qualitative research used to develop the initial items. Participants for the psychometric testing were 371 community-dwelling older adults. Validity and reliability analyses included content, construct, and criterion-related validities, internal consistency, and test-retest reliability. Results: The Meaning in Life Scale consisted of 12 items with three distinct factors; value of life, source of life, and will to live, which explained 86.7% of the total variance. A three-factor structure was validated by confirmatory factor analysis. Criterion-related validity was supported by comparison with the Purpose in Life Test (r=.74). Reliabilities were secured with test-retest reliability of Intra-class Correlation Coefficient (ICC) .85 and the Cronbach's alpha coefficient .90. Conclusion: The results of this study indicate that this instrument is useful to measure meaning in life in Korean elders.
The purpose of the study was to develop a classification of management for the qualitative improvement of the management of multi-family housing. The date were analyzed using the Excel program in terms of frequency and, criticality analysis in order to draw items stage by stage. The process of research was as follows: The first process drew classification of types using the content analysis of the documented studies. The second process examined subcategories according to classification of types via interviews of supervisors. Further, the criticality analysis between the two items was examined. Additionally, when this study surveys and analyzes the satisfactions and importance of management on the basis of the classification, it can have an effect on management by reflecting the result. In conclusion, the classification of the management of multi-family housing will make up the improvement scheme of supplement education, certification related management and management regulations on the characteristics of multi-family housing by types of houses in the future.
In this paper, we suggested and made a classifier or qualitative and quantitative analysis in urine analysis system. Input variable number and fuzzy membership function was made from determination of standard sample, and the fuzzy rules were determined by the analysis of spectroscopic properties of pads in strip. Fuzzy classifier used in urine analysis system was evaluated or the standard samples in each items and degrees. Negative and positive response of urine test was classified in good property, but detail classification or quantitative analysis had 8% maximum error in each items. If fuzzy membership unction and generation of rule are supplemented, suggested fuzzy classifier can be applied to the clinical test.

Purpose: In order to improve resuscitation rate of CPR through providing qualitative nursing while performing CPR in hospital ward and to enhance quality of emergency nursing in the ward, the author embarked on the research as a way of developing ventricular fibrillation protocol about CPR. Method: Collected data were analyzed by using the SPSS/PC14.0 program while the routes of final protocol developed in this research are as follows. Result: Based on analysis results of literature study and CPR electronic hospital records, a total of 22 items and 53 specific contents were confirmed through the gathering of opinions from panels, and the allotment of roles and tasks with a standard of 2 nurses was designated. As the result of specialists' verification on validity, the final protocol composed of a total of 23 items and 45 specific contents was confirmed. At the result of the pertinency evaluation of confirmed protocol, it was evaluated as relatively pertinent with its average score 2.89-3.32. Conclusion: The protocol developed in this research is seen as to contribute to nurses participating in CPR to avoid the overlapping of tasks and to develop CPR through effective teamwork of medical teams by presenting clear roles and tasks.
Machine learning and deep learning (ML/DL) algorithms have been successfully applied in medical practice. However, their application in veterinary medicine is relatively limited, possibly due to a lack in the quantity and quality of relevant research. Because the potential demands for ML/DL applications in veterinary clinics are significant, it is important to note the current gaps in the literature and explore the possible directions for advancement in this field. Thus, a scoping review was conducted as a situation analysis. We developed a search strategy following the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses guidelines. PubMed and Embase databases were used in the initial search. The identified items were screened based on predefined inclusion and exclusion criteria. Information regarding model development, quality of validation, and model performance was extracted from the included studies. The current review found 55 studies that passed the criteria. In terms of target animals, the number of studies on industrial animals was similar to that on companion animals. Quantitative scarcity of prediction studies (n = 11, including duplications) was revealed in both industrial and non-industrial animal studies compared to diagnostic studies (n = 45, including duplications). Qualitative limitations were also identified, especially regarding validation methodologies. Considering these gaps in the literature, future studies examining the prediction and validation processes, which employ a prospective and multi-center approach, are highly recommended. Veterinary practitioners should acknowledge the current limitations in this field and adopt a receptive and critical attitude towards these new technologies to avoid their abuse.

The purpose of this study is to understand middle school students' levels of cognitive conflict for the students provided quantitative demonstration and qualitative demonstration after the pre-test. 297 middle school students were selected from one school in Pusan. Action-reaction problem of mechanics and electric bulbs in parallel problem of electricity were used in the demonstration and the pre-test. Students' cognitive conflict levels were investigated using the developed items by Kwon(1999) et al. We compared cognitive conflict levels between quantitative demonstration group and qualitative demonstration group. In addition to, we compared cognitive conflict levels between students who changed their preconceptions and the students who adhered to their preconceptions. We investigated correlation between levels of faith with preconceptions and cognitive conflict levels. The study generated the following results. First, students who selected incorrect choice in pre-test showed the higher levels of cognitive conflict in quantitative demonstration group than qualitative demonstration group and students who selected correct choice in pre-test showed higher levels of cognitive conflict in qualitative demonstration group than quantitative demonstration group. Second, students who changed their preconceptions were higher levels of cognitive conflict than students who adhered their preconceptions. Third, students who selected incorrect choice in pre-test showed positive correlation between levels of faith with preconceptions and levels of cognitive conflict, and students who selected incorrect choice in pre-test showed negative correlation between levels of faith with preconceptions and levels of cognitive conflict.
Licorice Extract and Erythritol, food additives used in korea, are widely used in foods as sweetener. Its application for use in food is regulated by the standard and specification for food additives but official analytical method far determination of these sweetener in food has not been established. Accordingly, we has been carried out to set up analytical method of the glycyrrhizic acid in several foods by the way of thin layer chromatography and high performance liquid chromatography glycyrrhizic acid is qualitative anaylsis technique consists of clean-up with a sep-pak $C_{18}$ cartridge, separation of the sweeteners by Silica gel 60 F254 TLC plate using 1-butanol:4Nammonia solution:ethanol (50:20:10) as mobile solvent. Also, the quantitative analysis for glycyrrhizic acid, was performed using Capcell prk $C_{18}$ column at wavelength 254nm and DW:Acetonitrile (62:38 (pH2.5)) as mobile phase. and we has been carried out to set up analytical method of the erythritol in several foods by the way of high performance liquid chromatography. erythritol is qualitative anaylsis technique consists of clean-up with a DW and hexane.
