Purpose: This study was done to evaluate the experience of securing patient safety in hospital operating rooms. Methods: Experiential data were collected from 15 operating room nurses through in-depth interviews. The main question was "Could you describe your experience with patient safety in the operating room?". Qualitative data from the field and transcribed notes were analyzed using Strauss and Corbin's grounded theory methodology. Results: The core category of experience with patient safety in the operating room was 'trying to maintain principles of patient safety during high-risk surgical procedures'. The participants used two interactional strategies: 'attempt continuous improvement', 'immersion in operation with sharing issues of patient safety'. Conclusion: The results indicate that the important factors for ensuring the safety of patients in the operating room are manpower, education, and a system for patient safety. Successful and safe surgery requires communication, teamwork and recognition of the importance of patient safety by the surgical team.

Purpose: This study aimed to explore the perspectives of frontline nurses working during the novel coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic. Methods: An online qualitative study was conducted using a pragmatic approach. The data were collected in August 2021. Registered Korean nurses who provided direct nursing care to patients with confirmed COVID-19 were eligible for this study. An online survey was used to gather free-text data, which were then analyzed using machine-based network analysis and summative content analysis. Results: The analysis examined the responses of 126 participants and led to the identification of six prominent themes. These themes were further classified into three distinct levels: personal, task, and organizational. The identified themes are as follows: "collapse of personal life," "being overwhelmed by the numerous roles required," "personal protective equipment was sufficiently provided, but that is not enough," "changes in interprofessional collaboration," "inappropriate workforce management," and "diverted allocation of healthcare services and resources." Conclusion: Our findings highlight areas for improvement in resources, systems, and policies to enhance preparedness for future pandemics.

본 연구의 목적은 병원에서 환자의 안전사고에 대한 간호사의 경험을 확인하고 이해하기 위함이다. 질적연구 방법을 활용하여 병원에서 직접 또는 간접적으로 안전사고를 경험한 7명의 간호사가 일상생활에서 겪는 경험을 분석하였다. 그 결과 환자안전사고의 경험은 7가지 필수 주제와 24가지 속성으로 도출되었다. 7가지 필수 주제는 "예상하지 못한 경험을 하게 됨", "소홀하게 생각해 놓침", "당면하는 불안감", "홀로 감당해야 하는 어려움", "직장을 떠나게 됨", "분쟁에 휘말리게 됨", "성숙한 간호사가 되어감"이었다. 본 연구의 결과는 병원에서 환자의 안전사고에 대한 정책 수립에 기여할 것이며 실제 임상 현장에서 환자안전사고 예방에 실질적 개선 방안을 마련하는데 도움을 줄 것이다.

This main goal of this program is to prove the effectiveness of family leadership program that was developed on the theoretical basis of strengths of family life. The family leadership program comprised four steps through the FGI and qualitative interview with experts. The steps 1 and 2 were planned to help the middle-aged married women to cultivate the individual leadership by establishing visions and understanding the role. The steps 3 and 4 were set to build up the relational leadership through the communication competency and synergy creation between family. This program was applied to 15 respondents by the multidimensional promotion strategies. As a result, it was recognized that the middle-aged married women had developed the leadership that created the synergy effects by setting family visions, role and improvement of communication strategies. Overall, this study positively achieved the objective to improve the individual and relational leadership of family CEO.

The domestic housing paradigm has changed from quantitative growth to qualitative growth, and demands for pleasant living environment and meeting basic living conditions have increased due to increased living standards of the people. In a related move, the Ministry of land, Infrastructure and Transport introduced "long-life housing construction standards" in the Article 21 paragraph 6 of the Housing Act through a revision of the Housing Act in December 2014, devised detailed criteria and enforced the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, titled "long-life housing construction certification standards" which require long-life housing certification in construction of apartment houses that accommodate more than 1,000 households. In this regard, A survey of consumers was conducted to collect opinions about consumers' perception and requirements regarding long-life housing, and thus to promote long-life housing and improve certification system criteria. The general public who wish to purchase housing were selected as the subjects for the present study, and the survey was conducted at the site of apartment house PR hall in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do as of January 2015. The result of this study is an opinion survey of long-life housing consumers. For future work, additional research is needed to establish legal standards and devise support systems, along with technology development for long-life housing.

This study was conducted to find an optimal combination rate of castor meal for the good qualitative compost and to estimate the humification grade by physico-chemical characterization and phyto-toxicity test during composting of the mixture with cow manure and castor meal. The material ratios of the compost which was mixed with cow manure(C), castor meal(C), and saw dust(S) were 5 : 1 : 4(CCS-1), 5 : 2.5 : 2.5(CCS-2) and 5 : 4 : 1(CCS-3) by volume to volume, and they were decomposed for 60 days. In the result, the changes of temperature in all treatments during composting radically increased more than $63.6^{\circ}C$ at the incipient stage, and gradually decreased around $42^{\circ}C$. At the 60 days after the treatment, pH was slowly increased from 7.0 to 8.0, and the C/N ratio was 12.3~13.8 at the final composting stage. The low C/N ratio value was caused by the castor meal with high nitrogen level(T-N 5.7%). G.I.(germination index) showed in the range of 77.5 to 82.6 in all treatments. Among all treatments CCS-1 was appeared to be the best condition for composting. Therefore, the combination rate of castor meal which was used for compost humification improvement could be recommended 10% to manufacture the good qualitative cow manure compost.

삶의 질적 풍요로움을 추구하는 21세기에 생활수준이 향상되고 삶에 대한 욕구가 다양해짐에 따라 주거의 질에 관한 관심이 점점 커지고 있다. 삶의 만족도는 주거만족이라고 하는 기본적 욕구가 충족된 생활로 볼 수 있으며 이러한 욕구의 충족으로 삶의 질은 높아질 것이다. 인간은 누구나 사회관계를 맺으며 생활하고, 사회관계는 다양한 측면에서 개인들의 삶의 질에 큰 영향을 미치고 있다. 이에 중장년층의 주거환경과 사회적 자본의 실태를 알아보고 주거환경과 삶의 만족도와의 관계에서 사회적 자본이 미치는 영향을 실증연구를 통해 밝히고자 하였다. 이에 본 연구는 자료 수집을 위해 중장년층을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였고, 설문지 500부를 배포하여 490부를 수거한 후 결측값이 없는 484부를 SPSS Win Ver. 21.0을 이용하여 실증 분석하였다. 분석결과 첫째, 중장년층의 주거환경이 삶의 만족도에 미치는 영향을 분석한 결과 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 중장년층의 주거환경과 삶의 만족도 간에 사회적 자본의 조절효과를 분석한 결과 부분적으로 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이와 같은 연구결과에 따라, 향후 중장년층의 보다 만족스러운 삶의 질 향상을 위한 방향과 우리나라 주거정책 수립에 유용한 기초자료를 제공하고자 한다.

본 연구는 사회복지의 한 영역인 '지역사회복지'에 대한 이해와 인식을 진단하고자 하였다. 무엇보다 일련의 진단을 위하여 질적연구방법인 Q방법을 활용하여 지역사회복지에 대한 인식을 유형화하였다. 분석결과, 지역사회복지에서 회자되고 학습되고 있는 다양한 용어(Q표본)를 확보하고, 이들 용어에 대한 인식의 유형을 살펴보았다. 분석을 위하여 29명의 응답자인 P표본에게 29개의 진술문인 Q표본을 확보하여, Q표본에 대한 Q분류를 실시하여 인식을 유형화하였다. 분석결과, 3개의 유형으로 정의되었다. 즉, <유형 I>은 '주민참여', '유대관계 형성', '주민 삶의 질 향상' 등을 강조하고 있어, "주민 삶의 질- 유대관계강조형"으로 명명하였다. <유형 II>는 '주민 삶의 질 향상', '지역사회 욕구충족'을 강조하고 있어 "주민 삶의 질-지역사회욕구충족형"으로 명명하였다. <유형 III>은 '주민참여'와 '주민 삶의 질 향상'을 강조하고 있어 "주민참여-주민 삶의 질 향상형"으로 명명하였다. 또한, 유형화결과를 바탕으로 유형별 응답자 특성에 대한 교차분석을 실시한 결과, 개인적 특성별로 지역사회 복지에 대한 인식에 차이가 있음을 발견할 수 있었다. 이로써, 가설발견적 접근방법으로써의 유용성을 제고하여 향후 계량연구로의 확장연구를 기대한다.

According to the decrease in birth rate and reduction of population, many schools in rural area have brought about the r decrease of number of student, and environment of education have became deteriorated. Accordingly, small schools be required improvement, and it should be altered placement of schools because it change number of student, distance and time of attending school, and formation of school zone are changed by alternating of human and physical environment. Merger and abolition of small schools are inevitable for change of placement standard to school and qualitative improvement of environment of education in rural area. This study researches the user's satisfaction at the boarding middle school following the merge and abolition of small schools in rural area. Finally, it reports the results of satisfaction research: the users are generally satisfied with education and student school life in the unified dormitory school.

As the modern-day Apartment Complex has varied community facilities such as health care center and self-improvement institutions affecting the residents' quality of life, this paper is for the in-depth understanding on how such Exterior Space vary and development plan should go. To be specific, this paper is to, based upon the theoretical contemplation on the concept and role of the Exterior Space to Apartment Complex, as well as drawing a conclusion on the development plan for subject areas as assessed. Subject areas of this paper are a total of twelve Apartment Complexes built since Year 2005 in nine different regions in Seoul. As such specialties and features as leisure of the senior citizen and female residents, the subject Apartment Complexes have provided opportunities, active and inactive, to the residents for leisure by qualitative improvement of facilities, as well as establishing the discrete brand value for the Exterior Space with featured design and spatial properties. Also notable is the eco-friendliness of the Exterior Space with cutting-edge technology, eventually appreciating the value of Apartment Complex.
