In low voltage high current applications such as fuel cells the current-fed DC-DC converter which has small ripple current and turn ratio is more efficient. In the applications larger than 5kW the conventional single-phase current-fed converter based on full-bridge, half-bridge or push-pull topologies has high current burden of devices such as switches, and the selection and optimized design of the devices are not easy. In this paper a three-phase active-clamped current-fed push-pull DC-DC converter suitable for high power high step-up applications is proposed. The proposed converter has reduced current burden and is suitable for wide input voltage applications due to the use of whole duty cycle range. Design methods of main components including three-phase high frequency transformers are provided, and the validity and performance of the proposed converter are proved from a 5kW prototype.
This study aimed to determine the effects of relative humidity and fiber properties on the moisture permeability of multilayer systems by measuring water vapor transmission in the overlapping condition of various fabrics. The results confirmed that the property of the fabric in contact with the humid environment affects the moisture permeability. If the layer facing the humid environment is hydrophobic and the layer facing the dry environment is superhydrophobic, water vapor transmission increases by up to 17.8% compared to the opposite conditions. Comparing the correction values of the water vapor transmission reflecting the thickness of the specimen under the multilayer condition showed that permeability was higher when the hydrophilic or hydrophobic layer was facing the humid environment. The opposite was true from the "push-pull" effect of absorption mechanism. In the case of moisture permeability, the more hydrophilic the surface facing the humid environment, the more permeable that water vapor diffuses and passes through. It was concluded that the "pull-push" effect, in which water vapor diffuses widely through the hydrophilic facing a humid environment and then passes through the hydrophobic layer, contributes to the improvement of permeability. Permeability differed according to the multilayer overlapping condition. When the relative humidity was high, the "pull-push" effect was insignificant. This is caused by water droplets absorption after the partial migration of water due to condensation. These results suggest that the overlapping conditions and properties of fabrics should vary depending on heavy sweating or not.
An improved current-fed push-pull PWM converter with integrated magnetics is presented. With this improved topology, the design of magnetic elements such as an inductor and a transformer becomes easier than that using the conventional topology, especially when the converter is suffered from an extremely high input current. Since this gives twice the voltage conversion ratio compared to the conventional one, it is also suited for the high voltage step-up power conversion process. The operation of the proposed converter is thoroughly analyzed. Also, the theoretical analysis and experimental results are taken from the laboratory level prototype.
An active-clamp current-fed push-pull converter for the step-up application is proposed. The proposed converter is composed of active-clamp circuits and a voltage doubler rectifier. Thus, the voltage stress of the main switches is reduced and the output diodes are clamped to output voltage. Moreover, the output diodes can achieve zero current switching (ZCS) by the series resonance between resonant capacitors and leakage inductances. The prototype is designed for 350V/1.5kW with input voltage range $30{\sim}60V$. The theoretical analysis and experimental results are presented.
Fire is one of the environmental parameters affecting the structure causing element internal forces to change, as well as reducing the strength of the materials. One of the common types of floors in tall steel structures is the steel concrete composite slab. Shear connectors are used in steel and concrete composite beam in various shapes also has played significant role in a burning fire event of building with a steel concrete composite beam. The current study has reviewed the effects of temperature raising on the angle connector behavior through the use of push out tests and monotonic static force. The results have shown (1) the ductility of the samples is acceptable based on EC4 standard; (2) temperature raising has reduced the stiffness; (3) the shear ductility increment; and (4) the shear capacity reduction. Also, the amount of angle shear connector resistance has been decreased from 18.5% to 41% at ambient temperature up to $850^{\circ}C$.

This study has proposed the signal operating system to use both semi-actuated signal control and pedestrian push-button as a way to make up for the problems of 3 leg intersections which are operated inefficiently in the signal operation, one of the methods of traffic operations. In case of the semi-actuated signal control, it can reduce delay inside the intersection by serving to uncongested traffic on the main road where there is not much traffic volume on the secondary road and push-button signal can reduce unnecessary waiting time it could happen to vehicles by operating it though there is no pedestrian. Quantitative analysis was tried regarding the average delay reduction per vehicle using VISSIM, microscopic simulation program regarding how much effect it has compared with the existing signal control system and semi-actuated signal control system when the above two advantages are collected. The field test was performed for one three-leg intersection of Incheon. According to respectively signal control method pedestrian traffic changed and executed a sensitivity analysis. The result which compares the average delay time per a vehicle of scenarios, the signal control method of using the pedestrian push-button system in comparison with the fixed signal control method showed to decrease effect of a minimum 3.7 second (10%), a maximum 5.8 second (16%). When the pedestrian traffic volume was 20% or less of the measurement traffic volume, The signal control method of using the pedestrian push-button system appeared to be more efficient the semi-actuated signal control with object intersection.

In order to improve traffic flow and vehicular safety, installation of roundabouts is encouraging recently. Roundabouts are generally installed at which traffic flow and pedestrian flow is relatively low intersections. Roundabouts reduce vehicle speed, minimize vehicle weaving, and reduce critical conflict points. For these reasons, roundabouts are generally operated unprotected pedestrian crosswalk, thus a shortcoming for pedestrian safety always exists at roundabouts. The purpose of this study is developing a dynamic signal metering algorithm for traffic and pedestrian at four-way-approach with two-lane roundabouts in which three different operation algorithms(fixed-time pedestrian, vehicle signal metering, and vehicle and pedestrian signal metering) are suggested and its performance is tested by using VISSIM. The results of the fixed pedestrian signal operation show that there is a big average delay increase in general and that increases up to 51.4 seconds/vehicle(42.5%) when the total number of approaching vehicle is 3,800 vehicle/hour. However, the results of the simultaneous dynamic signal metering operation for the vehicle and pedestrian crossing with push button show that there is a substantial average delay reduction up to 40.6 seconds/vehicle(42.7%) when the total number of approaching vehicle is 3,000 vehicle/hour.
The purpose of this study is to explore the factors affecting rural experience by applying the unified push-pull-mooring model. The theoretical model is an unified PPM model that introduces new variables based on PPM. The pull factor of the newly introduced variables were reconstructed based on the Schmitt's Experience model and ServQual model. The hypothesis is set as follows. The push factor will have a negative effect on experience satisfaction and the pull factor(experience attributes, service quality)will have a positive effect on experience satisfaction. Also, mooring factors will have a negative effect on experience satisfaction. The research model of this study was tested by structural equation model based on 314 effective questionnaire data. Service quality had a positive effect on experience satisfaction. Mooring factors have a negative effect on experience satisfaction. Push factor and experience attributes factor were analyzed to have a no significance effect on experience satisfaction. These results theoretically test that the mooring factors also have an important effect on the experience satisfaction in the rural experience. Based on the Schmitt's Experience model and ServQual model introduced as a pull factor, the proposed unified PPM model proved to be a useful analysis framework. In practice, it was able to provide implications on what factors should be strategically and marketingly focused to activate the 6th industry experience. This study examined the impact of start-up education and mentoring on the intentions of business start-up, and verified through empirical analysis whether self-efficacy and resilience were mediated between them. The study surveyed 178 people in their 20s to 50s. The result analysis used the IBM SPSS Statistics 21.0 Statistical Package Program. The analysis performed a regression analysis for factor analysis, correlation analysis, and hypothesis verification. Empirical Research Results.
