Thermoplastic elastomers (TPEs), a unique class of polymers, combine the processing ease of thermoplastics with the advanced properties of thermoset rubbers. TPEs can be remelted several times without any significant loss of properties, and can be molded into complex shapes using conventional processing equipment. Due to their characteristics, TPEs are ideal for use in a variety of applications in the automotive field. Although the TPE market of the Republic of Korea is currently at its niche, the increasing manufacturing push from major companies is expected to open up multiple opportunities for these products in the automotive sector. This manuscript highlights a detailed technological trend of the global automotive thermoplastic elastomers market.

This study was conducted to analyze the policy impacts of the '2014 Rural Field Forum'. From 2013, Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs implemented Rural Field Forum to push forward rural development of inhabitants' initiative. In this study, we have evaluated that Rural Field Forum has crucial impacts on residents' competence, region capability and driving force of project by targeting the 374 residents of 350 villages in 9 states who participated in 2014 Rural Field Forum. We also sought for the solution to institutional improvement. Futhermore we analyzed each of leader group and normal residents for departmentalization of policy effects. Taken together, the analysis reveals that: 1)Rural field forum is demonstrated to have a positive effect on the establishment and execution of village development plan and all of its necessary components. 2)Regarding the effect on the village capabilities, the understanding and recognition of village organization was shown to be improved. 3)About regional capabilities, the interest in village project was advanced. 4)In terms of the project execution, Rural field forum turned out to affect the village council processes positively. 5)lastly, between the leader and the residents, the difference effectiveness between them revealed, with the same directivity and considerably bigger effect felt by the leader than by the residents overall.

No.2 PCM (Pickling and tandem cold rolling mill) at Pohang works was revamped in 2003. The purpose of this project is to produce carbon and stainless steel using conventional carbon production process, rolling and annealing. This paper introduces the applied facilities and technologies of PCM which are used in production of carbon and stainless steel. To realize the main purpose of this project, POSCO have developed laser weld technology in normal carbon and special steel (stainless, high carbon and high silicon). And this report describes the method which is developed to get down the surface defect of stainless 400 series. After revamping, No.2 PCM can have competitive power in this field and can supply the special steel using carbon rolling process.

Recently, STS 301L joints of side panels to frames for stainless steel rolling stock have been made out by using existing welding methods including Resistance Spot Welding, Laser Welding and Arc Welding. Most of the processes were jointed by spot welding because it is faster at welding and comparatively less expensive for investment in welding facilities than other methods. During spot welding, however, indentation of the metal surface was made due to pressure and melting property of welding. Moreover, since the melting metal was forced to periphery of the plate as indentation was made, sheet separation, which cracked apart between jointed sheets, was carried out. A slight deformation which resulted from sheet separation deteriorated the emotional quality of railway vehicles. This paper suggests that by processing conventional spot electrode tip appropriately, melting metal is able to push up around the processed part (Hollow Spot Electrode Tip) and prevent from being dislodged from first place to periphery. Consequently, sheet separation is remarkably decreased. Also, the emotional quality of appearance of stainless steel rolling stock is enhanced considerably.

Korea has the plans to improve nation and corporate global competitiveness through reducing the logistics costs. Ministry of Knowledge Economy, as the government department of in charge of the plan, establish industrial logistics policies in 2002 and 2007 and it's about time to set up the third industrial logistics policy in 2012. There are new trends for the logistics environment in terms of environment-friendly logistics, logistics securities, win-win collaboration etc. This study propose some harmonious plans between logistic productivity and the new trends in the field of logistics. For the purpose of that, we have evaluated the second industrial logistics policy. We propose the vision and objectives of the new industrial logistics policy. The vision is entering the line of industrial logistics developed nations through the sustainable logistics innovation, and the objects are smart & green logistics, win-win collaboration, lead the new logistics trends etc. We also propose the set the system and rules to push promote the new plan. In addition, industrial logistics is the new terminology setting out use by Ministry of Knowledge Economy.

산업기술정보원은 정보 유통의 활성화 및 이용자 중심의 정보 제공 체제 구축을 위해 이메일 푸시 정보서비스를 개발하였다. $\ulcorner$신기술 상품 산업계 동향 정보 푸시 서비스(Techno-Radar)$\lrcorner$는 산업기술관련 최신정보를 제조 산업, 지식 산업 및 일반 정보로 분류하고, 신청 접수된 이용자들의 관심 정보를 매주 e-mail로 직접 제공하고 있다. 여기서는 정보 제공자의 컨텐츠 작성 방법, 이용자들의 신청 방법 등을 소개하였으며, 향후 진정한 이용자 중심의 정보 서비스 체제를 위해 단순한 정보 푸시 외에 각종 원문 자료, 분야별 분석 평가 정보 제공의 중요성을 강조하였다.

The Toyota production system (TPS) developed by Toyota corporation is a management principle and production model to improve values added through elimination of waste. Since the oil shock in 1970s, the TPS has drawn the worldwide attentions as a main factor of competitiveness of Japanese manufacturing system and has been studied and implemented in many countries regardless of size and types of industry. For the correspondence to various customer's requirement, it is required to establish on time delivery procedure and to shorten lead time. Therefore it intended to establish TPS which is adopted to 7 losses reduction and JIT(Just in Time). In this paper, the automatic production line for color TV manufacturing by TPS was developed and proved to push up two times of productivity, to reduce the 25 workers at a time, and to widen the flexibility of manufacturing from 14" to 25" TV.

In recent years, the U.S, Japan, Europe and other developed countries are strategically developing technologies in order to prepare for paradigm shift affecting the electric power industry in a preemptive way. In particular, a chance for new business models and innovation in the electric power industry would rapidly increase with convergence of various technologies including Information and communication technologies. This study gathered up the theories and methodologies, and sorted out emerging technologies for the electric power industry with those theories. In order to find the emerging technologies, first, we identified the possible key issues of the electric power industry in the future using four mining techniques such as STEEP. Second, we drew agenda related with each key issue. Third, we organized candidates of the emerging technologies for solving the agenda and set the priority after evaluating the possibility of technical innovation and business. Finally, we selected the top fourteen of emerging technologies and assessed their feasibility. This study has a methodological significance because the emerging technologies were developed with a market-oriented approach rather than technical-push one that has been primarily used in another studies. The results of this study are able to be used in establishment of technology policy and R&D planning in the electric power industry.

We have developed a patient monitoring system including module-based bedside monitors, interbed network, central stations, clinical workstations, and DB servers. A bedside monitor with a color LCD can accommodate up to 3 module cases and 21 different modules. Six different physiological parameters of ECG, respiration, invasive blood pressure, noninvasive blood pressure, body temperature, and arterial pulse oximetry with plethysmoyaph are provided as parameter modules. In a single bedside monitor, modules and a module controller communicate with IMbps data rate through an intrabed network based on RS-485 and HDU protocol. At the same time, it communicates with other bedside monitors and central stations through interbed network based on 1 OMbps Ethernet and TCP/IP protocol. Central stations using 20" color CRT monitors can be connected with many bedside monitors and they display 18 channels of waveforms simultaneously. Clinical workstations are used mainly for the review of patient datE In order to accommodate more advanced data management capabilities such as 24-hour full disclosure, we have developed a relational database server dedicated to the patient monitoring system. Software for bedside monitor, central station, and clinical workstation fully utilizes graphical user interface techniques and all functions are controlled by a rotate/push button on the bedside monitor arid a mouse on the central station and clinical workstation. The entire system satisfies the requirements of AAMI and ANSI standards in terms of electrical safety and performances.nces.

This study is to integratedly examine coastal management policy and marine tourism development project for Korean coasts, especially for the South Sea of high development pressure, presenting sustainable tourism development policies for the future. To do so, it is examined central government-level coastal development projects set up by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries and the Ministry cf Construction and Transportation, setting the direction of south coastal management and tourism development at a level of national territory planning. The problems of coastal management first and then the problems of the South Coast Tourism Belt Project are analyzed in order to present political and administrative alternatives. To overcome such problems and make Korea a marine tourism base in East Asia, there is a need for re-recognition of the value of the project and its continuous push through cooperation between central and local governments. Also, under the presupposition of consensus building among local people and the sustainable development of environments, there should be are-recognition that the future cf Korean marine tourism in the 21st-century and the success of an inverted $\pi-axis$ national development depend on the South coastal Tourism Belt Development Project.
