The purpose of the present study was to examine the causal relationship between aggression and mobile phone dependency among high school students and to test the mediating effect of self-esteem, and to draw out implications in order to encourage proper use of mobile phone. In this paper, we proposed a research model between aggression, self-esteem and mobile phone dependency. The present study analyzed the fourth, fifth, and sixth wave data from KCYPS 2010, using the structural equation modeling. The primary results were as follows. First, the effect of high school students' aggression on mobile phone dependency was not significant. Second, high school students' aggression had a significantly negative effect on self-esteem. Third, high school students' self-esteem had a significantly positive effect on mobile phone dependency. Fourth, high school students' self-esteem could be a significant mediator between aggression and mobile phone dependency. In conclusion, theoretical and practical suggestions were discussed in order to solve the problem of adolescents' mobile phone dependency.

FormFactors is one of the most critical design factors in early development of mobile phone, and proper selection of FormFactors is necessary for smoothness of product development and customer satisfaction. Especially, emergence of mobile convergence added so various functions besides its original call function that importance of selecting FormFactors has increased because multiform FormFactors are needed. However there is problem such as frequent change of decision making in existing process because established process picks out FormFactors sensibly and arbitrarily through idea pull and so forth. We proposed FormFactors selection process by Axiomatic Design, set approach method and block approach method for reasonable and systematical FormFactors selection. First of all, we set the purpose of mobile phone development, and it is examined by Axiomatic Design. FormFactors design matrix is deduced through this process, the numbers of axes and rails are proposed using set approach method, and then patterns of FormFactors are embodied by block approach method. Particularly process application was tried through case study of mobile phone development, and we ensured that new FormFactors can be presented to a designer by systematical verification if change of customer requirements occurs through our process.

The purpose of this study was to reveal how the agility of fingers directly involved in the use of mobile phones, a necessity for modern people, is related to the amount of text usage. To find out, 95 people who agreed to the purpose of this research without any limitation on visual and upper-geometry were selected. The research period was from June 27, 2018 to July 31, 2018. The evaluation tool used in this study was Grooved Pegboard, a standardized evaluation tool that measures hand dexterity, and the general characteristics of examinees such as age, text message amount, and a hand that using for text messages were investigated through interviews. Since text input methods vary depending on mobile phone types, unfamiliar methods of typing mobile phone characters can affect the speed of texting. As a result, there were significant differences in hand dexterity between age and gender. The rate of texting and hand dexterity were statistically significantly faster than those in their 20s and 30s (p<0.05), and in gender, women showed significantly faster texting and hand dexterity than men (p<0.05). However, it was not statistically significant to text usage and to the dexterity of the hand.

The purpose of this study is to compare assessment techniques for Korean characters entry methods of mobile phones. This study was performed based on survey of relevant existing studies. The assessment techniques were classified into three: 1) predicting entry time using conceptual models such as Fitts' law, Hick-Hyman's law and KLM-GOMS model (conceptual model); 2) counting the number of pressing button(number of pressing button); and 3) measuring performance or rating subjective measures using real mobile phones(real mobile phone). The comparison revealed that the assessment results were different depending upon the techniques used. The results from the conceptual model using only Fitts' law and the number of pressing button were opposite to those from techniques of the real mobile phone and conceptual model using Fitts' and Hick-Hyman's laws. Based on this result and suggestions provided by the literature, it is recommended that for more precisely assessing interfaces of mobile phones such as Korean characters entry method, real mobile phones be used instead of the conceptual models.

In daily activities, people often perform two or more tasks simultaneously. This is referred to as dual-tasking or multi-tasking. The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of performing dual tasks while using a mobile phone on static and dynamic postural stability. Twenty-four subjects were asked to stand on a force plate and then instructed to perform a balance task only (BT), a balance task while listening to music (BTL), a balance task while talking on the mobile phone (BTT), and a balance task while sending text messages (BTS). We used the BioRescue$^{(R)}$ to measure postural sway and limit of stability for static and dynamic postural stability. Also the star excursion balance test (SEBT) was used to measure dynamic postural stability. A one-way ANOVA with repeated measures was used to compare the effects of the BT, BTL, BTT, and BTS. The Bonferroni's post hoc test was used to determine the differences among four tasks. Carrying out the BTS significantly decreased the limit of stability compared with carrying out the BT, BTL, and BTT (p<.05). In limit of stability, total surface area of BTT was more significantly decreased than that of BT and total surface area of BTS was more decreased than that of BT, BTL and BTT (p<.05). In the SEBT, the BTS displayed significantly smaller reach distance values compared with the BT or BTL (p<.05). These findings suggest that performing the balance task while sending text message on the mobile phone decreases dynamic postural stability, whereas performing the same task while listening to music using the mobile phone does not. Therefore, it requires more attention to maintain dynamic balance while sending text messages.

The damage from voice phishing reaches one trillion won in the past 5 years following report of Business Korea on August 28, 2018. Voice phishing and mobile phone scams are recognized as a top concern not only in Korea but also in over the world in recent years. In this paper, we propose an efficient system to identify the caller and alert or prevent of dangerous to users. Our system includes a mobile application and web server using client and server architecture. The main purpose of this system is to automatically display the information of unidentified callers when a user receives a call or message. A mobile application installs on a mobile phone to automatically get the caller phone number and send it to the server through web services to verify. The web server applies a machine learning to a global phone book with Blacklist and Whitelist to verify the phone number getting from the mobile application and returns the result.

The purpose of this study is to propose that co-working plan with patient information service system for dental clinic and dental lab using smart phone system which is recently spread to. For this purpose, we introduced latest mobile S/W development environment. And design key features of patient information service system based on mobile platform(Android) by user interface design. In fact, we have applied this system(mobile system) to dental clinic and dental lab, we have following results: 1.There were significant possibility in dental utilization of smart phone based on latest ICT(Information & Communication Technology) technology. 2. Improve conventional method of image upload by connecting digital camera to the server computer using USB port. 3. Reduce error of image management by direct upload to server computer from smart phone. 4. Improve process of making prosthetic appliance by displaying dental image on smart phone in dental lab.

The purpose of this study is to introduce the implementation of WML and WMLScript by using the Openwave WAP simulator. For this purpose, previous literature review was done on the studies about the structures of WAP systems, types of WAP Browsers, and development methods of WAP contents. Afterwards, I attempt to implement WML and WMLScript by using an openwave Phone simulator, openwave WAP simulator, openwave HTTP simulator and Nokia Mobile Internet Toolkit. Few studies have been completed on implementation of WMLScript and it's complex process. Therefore, this study explores the necessary implementation steps and develops an easier way to create and experiment mobile applications using WMLScript.

The purpose of this study is to empirically analyze the structural relationship between parental rearing attitude, social support for teenagers and the mobile phone dependency. In this paper, we survey for teenagers in Gmetropolitan city and the collected data were analyzed using Amos 18.0. The results showed that the parental rearing attitude had a significant influence on social support for teenagers and also the parenting attitude and social support had a important effect on teenagers' mobile phone dependency. In addition, social support was found to have a mediating effect on the relationship between parental rearing attitude and teenagers' mobile phone dependency. Therefore, we resulted that parental rearing attitude and social supports were important variable factors to lower the teenagers' mobile phone dependency.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of mobile phone use on university students' English reading achievement and consider the value and effectiveness of mobile phones as a learning tool. The study's subjects were students from a university in Seoul, who were divided into an experimental group (n=37) and a control group (n=43). The experimental group used various mobile phone functions-such as searching, recording, taking photos, using mobile apps, and community uploads-in reading class. The control group, on the other hand, focused on students' presentations and the professor's explanations. Two achievement tests and an open-ended questionnaire were administered. The results revealed that the experimental group scored higher than the control group, which showed a significant difference. In addition, the positive impacts of mobile phone use as reported in the questionnaire were interest and motivation, self-directed learning, and continuous learning beyond time and space. In order to foster efficient second language teaching and learning, learners and also teachers must be aware of the potential value of mobile phones as a learning tool. To encourage more active mobile phone use in the classroom, diverse and interesting class activities using mobile phones should be developed.
