  • This paper is to develop WiMAX CPE(wireless AP) that can provides Wi-Fi terminal with wireless Internet service by connecting to Wibro wireless network. This AP aims to support WiBro in upstream interface basically, and Wi-Fi and 100M Ethernet interface in downstream. So, we has developed the equipment for business that wireless ISP can provide many Internet customers with wireless Internet service by using Wi-Fi terminal in subway, car, ship, and so on, and the equipment for users that a user can purchase and then install in person. For the latter, multiple Wi-Fi terminals that be registered in WiBro service can be connected to Internet simultaneously.

  • This paper analyzes a robust optimal reinsurance and investment strategy for an Ambiguity-Averse Insurer (AAI), who worries about model misspecification and insists on seeking robust optimal strategies. The AAI's surplus process is assumed to follow a jump-diffusion model, and he is allowed to purchase proportional reinsurance or acquire new business, meanwhile invest his surplus in a risk-free asset and a risky-asset, whose price is described by an Ornstein-Uhlenbeck process. Under the criterion for maximizing the expected exponential utility of terminal wealth, robust optimal strategy and value function are derived by applying the stochastic dynamic programming approach. Serval numerical examples are given to illustrate the impact of model parameters on the robust optimal strategies and the loss utility function from ignoring the model uncertainty.

Test-bed Operation for Nation-wide Interoperable Transportation Card (전국호환 교통카드를 위한 테스트베드 운영)

  • In this paper, we describe the result of the test-bed on Nation-wide Interoperable Transportation System connected with Interoperable Traffic Information Collection System, which was developed by Korea Financial Telecommunications & Clearings, KOREAIL NETWORKS, HiPlusCard and Samsung SDS. we constructed Nation-wide Interoperable Transportation System on 4 downtown bus routes, 20 stations on line 1 subway, 2 stations of a train and 2 sections of the Honam highway in Gwangju and Interoperable Traffic Information Collection System in Seoul University IC Card Center. So we operated that by 480 Several staff were given a test card and asked to try it for about 6 months. This test-bed is for demonstrates the accuracy, safety and credibility of the Nation-wide Interoperability standard technology and it can be applied to all of transportation practically. When the staffs contact the card to Purchase terminal, the card performs transaction with Purchase SAM in the terminal, then transactions ara used to calculate in Settlement system and Interoperable Traffic Information Collection System. Through the test-bed, we examined this process and found unexpected problems happening during the test operation and have successfully solved them. In addition, the results of the test-bed let us know what additional improvement might be required for System. The successful run of the test-bed was verified by an evaluation of the test-bed staff and a public survey.

  • Recently, real time auction system is increasingly required as internet grows up. According to this social requirement change, this paper designed and implemented a real time auction system. The system registers the goods for auction which customers add to their interested list in their point of view, automatically responds their information and gives a chance to the customer to apply to auction immediately via internet, and performs registration such as customer's information, goods, interested goods, etc. And, the customers on the system can purchase their interested goods rapidly and easily by check-up service of their interested and auctioned products without regarding to place or time through a mobile terminal.

  • Generally, small and medium scale enterprises have conventionally been performing diligence and indolence management by hand, but many of them have been recently costing a lot of money for their diligence and indolence management and security maintenance. But yet, they have annoying sides due to the initial stage cost for the introduction of the system which is consisted of a terminal for reading a card, an RFID card, an administrative sewer and an application program for the diligence and indolence management as well as the insufficiency of the fixing skill being able to cope with the problems originating from hardware and software troubles. For this reasons, we developed a new diligence and indolence management system that the initial stage cost is moderate because it is needless to purchase a new server and to issue a new card, and the operation and management of the system is convenient because an RFID card reader communicates with a central administrative server in IDC(Internet Data Center) over internet for the diligence and indolence management.

  • This study looks deep into how user's individual personality and his or her media experiences affect perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use about UHDTV based on Technology Acceptance Model using survey methodology. This study also focuses on how the purchase intention of terminal equipments and the willingness to pay for UHD contents will make different choices. The result of this study shows that, whether user is an exhibitionist or not or has frequently encountered a big screen, these factors affect both the perceived usefulness and the perceived ease of use about UHDTV. When user is an exhibitionist with more experience with big screens, it was clear that user tended to choose UHDTV with higher perception of usefulness and ease of use about UHDTV. This study also implies that when supplying the next generation broadcasting service, it is needed to consider the users' perceived usefulness and ease of use about UHD as well as the individuals' media experiences and characteristics.

  • Recently, rapid innovation of Smartphone is changing the paradigm of our daily life. With the launch of Apple iPhone, there is an explosion of interest in Smartphone itself as well as Internet-based services using Smartphone are being revitalized. Smartphone users, opinion experts more than 99 percent of the economically active population is using, it has reached the saturation past the early stages of formation. Smartphone is equipped with a general purpose OS possible the implementation of high performance environment similar level as a personal computer. Also, it is a mobile communication terminal scalable which can be removed or installed various applications. New information technology like Smartphone gives us a very important and interesting research issue that is to find and prove the factors influencing the purchase intention. At this point, study identifying on the influence factors to the behavioral intention of Smartphone is very important.   • In recent years, with the rapid development of network live streaming, with the popularization of mobile Internet and mobile terminal equipment, the live streaming industry has ushered in great development. A sudden outbreak of the COVID-19 makes the PC end live streaming which has been developed for many years enter a new era, giving birth to the rapid development of mobile end live streaming. Not only because of the expansion of the live streaming industry market, the rise of the trend of the national live streaming, but also because the mobile live streaming is more and more valued by the brand, becoming an important tool for brand communication and product promotion. It is because of its unique communication characteristics that some scholars believe that the era of precision marketing has been opened by live network. Mobile live from the initial fans to reward and promote the brand, to now in the form of live marketing, consumers can "buy while watching". The time period from the understanding of the goods to the final completion of the purchase behavior has been greatly shortened. It is conducive to improving sales volume and brand awareness. Marketing communication through mobile live platform has become a popular way of brand marketing. This paper mainly studies the current situation, methods, problems and development strategies of brand marketing activities with the help of live streaming platform under the background of mobile internet. Taking Tmall live streaming platform as an example, this paper analyzes several ways of brand marketing with the help of live streaming and some universal characteristics of live streaming marketing by using the relevant theories of marketing. In view of the problems existing in live streaming brand marketing, it puts forward relevant Improvement measures. First of all, the paper puts forward the innovation in content and form. Second, the paper suggests that we should make full use of new technologies such as AR and VR to effectively combine with mobile live broadcasting. Third, the paper explores the integration of multiple channels to create intelligent marketing, and further optimize the live interface of mobile terminals. Finally, the paper emphasizes that the government departments and the platform itself should jointly supervise the mobile network live streaming platform and establish a good live broadcasting environment for mobile terminals. With the help of mobile live streaming, the marketing mode has an important impact on the promotion of brand marketing. How to make better use of this business mode and accurately use mobile live broadcast to promote brand marketing, so that enterprises can create greater profits, is also of profound research significance.

Analysis of Use of Government Support for Palliative Care Units in Korea (말기암환자 완화의료 전문기관 운영 지원비 사용 평가)

  • Purpose: Since 2005, the Ministry of Health & Welfare has provided financial support to promote palliative care for terminal cancer patients. We analyzed how palliative care facilities used the funding between 2006 and 2010. Methods: Frequency analysis was conducted by the item of expenditure based on fiscal reports of the palliative care facilities. Linear regression analysis was performed to examine a trend over time. Kruskal-Wallis test and Wilcoxon rank-sum test were used to compare expenditure items, the number of provision of financial support and type of palliative care units. Results: About a half of the fund was spent to pay care givers salary, improve facilities and purchase equipment regardless of the year, the number of financial support provided or facility type. By year, the operation cost for palliative care program and the education cost for health care workers have significantly increased in linear regression analysis (P<0.01). However, the amount of financial support for the low income group has decreased over years (P=0.024). This trend was affected by evaluation criteria and weight. Conclusion: The government aid for palliative care units has been used to improve facilities and equipment. Moreover, desirable changes were noted such as a higher portion of expenses for program operation and care giver training to enhance the quality of care. However, the evaluation criteria need to be adjusted to prevent any further decrease in the support provided to the low income group.
