광양광산 갱내수에 의한 하천 생태계 영향 평가 및 갱내수의 처리

  • Acid mine drainage and waste of abandoned mine area have caused serious water pollution and destruction of an ecosystem because of exposing to environment without an appropriate treatment. Gwang-yang mine area also has a serious problem in the nearby residential area and waterway ecosystems. The objectives of this research are to develop the most suitable remediation system for acid mine drainage by using waste materials, and to diagnose stream environments impacted by acid mine drainage through the new ecological health assessment methodology, and thus ultimately providing a restoring methodology to mining regions. In the water system health assessment, the result of ESHI model, RBP and Karr suggested by US EPA is revised by ecological features of our country, come to ESHI score 13; 'Very poor' at some points. Together with pH value and heavy metal concentration, it's the aggravation of ecological health index caused by chemical disturbances. In the acid mine drainage treatment, we apply marine shells and slags to this system. Slags had the best removal ability for heavy metals, but pH value was more than 10 exceeding the standard for drain water. In case of marine shells, pH of treated water maintained 7 to 8, and concentrations of Fe and Zn decreased significantly after treatment.

국내 IUCN Red List of Ecosystem(생태계 적색목록) 평가를 위한 국제 사례 연구와 전략 제시 (International Case Study and Strategy Proposal for IUCN Red List of Ecosystem(RLE) Assessment in South Korea)

  • IUCN 생태계 적색목록은 생물다양성의 감소 위험이 높은 생태계를 평가하고 식별하기 위한 글로벌 표준으로, 효과적인 생태계 관리 및 보전 정책 수립에 필요한 과학적 근거를 제공한다. IUCN 생태계 적색목록은 쿤밍-몬트리올 글로벌 생물다양성 프레임워크 목표 A의 핵심지표(A.1)로 지정하였다. 생태계 적색목록 평가는 특정 생태계 유형을 분포의 감소(기준 A), 제한된 분포(기준 B), 환경 황폐화(기준 C), 생물학적 상호작용의 변화(기준 D), 생태계 붕괴 위험의 정량적 추정(기준 E)으로 생태계 붕괴 징후를 판별한다. IUCN 생태계 적색목록은 2014년부터 110개 이상의 국가에서 평가를 진행하였다. 80% 이상이 육상 및 육상-담수 생태계에서 평가를 진행하였으며, 이중 열대림과 아열대림에 위협 받는 생태계가 집중 분포하고 있다. 평가 기준은 공간적 징후(기준 A 및 B)에서 68.8%로 집중되어 있다. 국내에서 생태계 적색목록을 평가를 적용하기 위한 고려사항은 크게 세가지로 나뉜다. 첫째, 국내 적용가 능한 지구 생태계 유형(GET)을 적립해야 한다. 둘째, 생태계 적색목록 범주·기준 중 공간적 징후 평가에서 국내의 소규모로 이루어진 다양한 생태계 유형에 적용 가능한지를 판단해야 한다. 마지막으로 평가를 위한 활용 가능한 시계열(50년) 데이터 수집을 고려해야 한다. 이러한 고려사항을 바탕으로 국내에 IUCN 생태계 적색목록 평가를 적용하면, 우리나라의 독특한 생태계 유형의 현재 상태를 정확하게 파악할 수 있을 것이며, 이는 세계적인 생태계 보전 및 복원 노력에 기여할 것이다.

고등학교 수학 수업에서 과정 중심 평가 수업을 위한 피드백 중심 수업 자료 개발에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Development of Feedback-Based Instructional Materials for Process-Focused Assessment Classes in High School Mathematics Classes)

  • 본 연구는 현장의 동일교 소속 교사들을 중심으로 교원학습공동체 프로그램을 이용하여 피드백에 주목하여 과정 중심 평가를 수업에 적용할 수 있는 수업 자료를 개발한 연구이다. 특히 실제 수업에 적용 가능한 수업 자료를 개발하는 것을 목적에 두고 진행한 연구이다. 이때 학교 현장 수업에서 과정 중심 평가를 적용할 때 어떻게 적절한 피드백을 제공할 것인지 고민하였다. 이동근, 안상진(2021)의 자료 개발 연구의 절차를 따라 진행하였으며, 자료 개발 자체의 절차는 교육과정 분석에 근거한 성취기준의 재구성과 이해도 확인 전략을 수립하여 평가계획을 수립하였다. 다음으로 평가과제와 채점 기준표 및 사전 피드백 준비표를 개발하였다. 또한 이들 개발 자료들에 근거하여 실제 수업 적용 시의 장면을 예상할 수 있는 학습 지도안을 결과물로 함께 개발하였다.

WTO 보복조치의 동등요건에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Equivalence Requirement of WTO Retaliation)

  • The World Trade Organization (WTO) offers remedies for non-compliance by the introduction of compensation or retaliation in the Dispute Settlement Understanding (DSU). There are no the provisions under the WTO DSU and it seems unclear what retaliation is attempting to achieve. Therefore, it is unclear whether the goal of WTO retaliation is to induce compliance or to restore the balance between the rights and the obligations of WTO members. It has been claimed the WTO has a strong dispute settlement system by providing retaliation when the recommendations and rulings of Dispute Settlement Body (DSB) are not complied with. But this seems to be inadequate to bring about effective and timely compliance. Especially there is a problem with free riding by a violating member because the level of retaliation is determined from the expiration of a reasonable period of time, providing an incentive to delay compliance. Also the level of the suspension of concessions or other obligations authorized by the DSB is equivalent to the level of nullification or impairment, according to DSU Article 22.4. However, if the member concerned objections to the level of the suspension proposed, the matter shall be referred to arbitration. The arbitrator shall not examine the nature of the suspension of concessions or other obligations to be suspended but shall determine whether the level of such suspension is equivalent to the nullification or impairment. The arbitrator makes an assessment standard of equivalence by comparing the suspension of concessions or other obligations and the nullification or impairment calculated in terms of the amount of trade. But it is necessary that other standards replace the quantitative standards when the level of the nullification or impairment cannot be quantified by concrete damages.

인화성 액체 도전율에 관한 측정 및 비교(IEC 60079-32-2) 연구 (A Study on the Measurement and Comparison(IEC 60079-32-2) of Flammable Liquid Conductivity)

  • The flammable liquid conductivity is an important factor in determining the generation of electrostatic in fire and explosion hazardous areas, so it is necessary to study the physical properties of flammable liquids. In particular, the relevant liquid conductivity in the process of handling flammable liquids in relation to the risk assessment and risk control in fire and explosion hazard areas, such as chemical plants, is classified as a main evaluation item according to the IEC standard, and it is necessary to have flammable liquid conductivity measuring devices and related data are required depending on the handling conditions of the material, such as temperature and mixing ratio for preventing the fire and explosion related to electrostatic. In addition, IEC 60079-32-2 [Explosive Atmospheres-Part 32-2 (Electrostatic hazards-Tests)] refers to the measuring device standard and the conductivity of a single substance. It was concluded that there is no measurement data according to the handling conditions such as mixing ratio of flammable liquid and temperature together with the use and measurement examples. We have developed the measurement reliability by improving the structure, material and measurement method of measuring device by referring to the IEC standard. We have developed a measurement device that is developed and manufactured by itself. The test results of flammable liquid conductivity measurement and the data of the NFPA 77 (Recommended Practice on Static Electricity) Annex B Table B.2 Static Electric Characteristic of Liquids were compared and verified by conducting the conductivity measurement of the flammable liquid handled in the fire and explosion hazardous place by using Measuring / Data Acquisition / Processing / PC Communication. It will contribute to the prevention of static electricity related disaster by taking preliminary measures for fire and explosion prevention by providing technical guidance for static electricity risk assessment and risk control through flammable liquid conductivity measurement experiment. In addition, based on the experimental results, it is possible to create a big data base by constructing electrostatic physical characteristic data of flammable liquids by process and material. Also, it is analyzed that it will contribute to the foundation composition for adding the specific information of conductivity of flammable liquid to the physical and chemical characteristics of MSDS.

학교시설의 녹색건축인증 사례를 통한 평가부문별 분석 연구 (A Study on the Analysis about Assessment Criterion of the Green Building Certificate of School Facilities through the Case)

  • 본 연구는 친환경 인증을 받은 학교시설을 대상으로 예비인증 거쳐 본인증을 획득한 시설에서 친환경건축물인증 제도의 부문별 적용 및 득점 비율을 분석하여 문제점을 도출하고, 향후 친환경 인증학교시설 계획에 있어 설계자 및 관련 담당자에게 기초자료를 제공함에 목적이 있다. 본 연구의 범위는 2010 개정친환경건축물 인증 기준 이후 인증을 받은 신축 학교시설을 대상으로 하며 예비심사를 거쳐 본 인증을 획득한 10개교를 분석 대상으로 하였다. 분석 내용은 녹색건축 인증기준 2013 학교시설 인증심사기준(별표4)의 7개 평가 부문에 대해서 적용시설 및 득점비율을 조사 분석하였다.

Quality assessment and acceptability of whiteleg shrimp (Litopenaeus vannamei) using biochemical parameters

  • Background: This study aimed to provide a basic standard for assessing freshness and acceptability of whiteleg shrimp (Litopenaeus vannamei). Methods: It was divided into whole body and meat and stored at 25 ℃ to evaluate both quality and freshness changes that occur over time. The shelf life of shrimp was estimated as 17 and 20 h for whole body and meat, respectively. Results: In chemical analysis, K-value increased from 9.96 to 12.32% to a maximum of 75.14%, and TVB-N increased from 1.86 mg/100 g to 34.71 mg/100 g. For volatile sulfur compounds, methyl mercaptan and dimethyl disulfide increased from 0.00 mg/100 g to 1.10 mg/100 g and 1.26 mg/100 g, respectively, rapidly increasing with decreasing freshness. Conclusion: Changes in all biochemical indicators significantly correlated with the sensory evaluation results. This study contributes to the knowledge about whiteleg shrimp spoilage and freshness, providing a basis for developing methods to improve shrimp quality control and management.

Optimal Replacement Scheduling of Water Pipelines

  • Water distribution networks (WDNs) are designed to satisfy water requirement of an urban community. One of the central issues in human history is providing sufficient quality and quantity of water through WDNs. A WDN consists of a great number of pipelines with different ages, lengths, materials, and sizes in varying degrees of deterioration. The available annual budget for rehabilitation of these infrastructures only covers part of the network; thus it is important to manage the limited budget in the most cost-effective manner. In this study, a novel pipe replacement scheduling approach is proposed in order to smooth the annual investment time series based on a life cycle cost assessment. The proposed approach is applied to a real WDN currently operating in South Korea. The proposed scheduling plan considers both the annual budget limitation and the optimum investment on pipes' useful life. A non-dominated sorting genetic algorithm is used to solve a multi-objective optimization problem. Three decision-making objectives, including the minimum imposed LCC of the network, the minimum standard deviation of annual cost, and the minimum average age of the network, are considered to find optimal pipe replacement planning over long-term time period. The results indicate that the proposed scheduling structure provides efficient and cost-effective rehabilitation management of water network with consistent annual budget.

아토피 피부염 무작위배정 임상연구 논문 질 평가 (Quantity and Quality Assessment of Randomized Controlled Trials in the Atopic Dermatitis)

  • Objective : This study aims to provide fundamental data for new directions(the improvement directions) from searching research papers of randomized controlled trials among thesis of Atopic Dermatitis related to oriental medicine in Korea from 2004 to 2014 and identifying the problem and level of a clinical study through an assessment of the quality, CONSORT statement. Methods : Data was collected through the Koreanstudies Information Service System(KISS). Two experts in Oriental Medicine reviewed the title and abstract in thesis, the results of searching the title, "Atopic dermatitis" and topic, "oriental medicine" at KISS, and then they handsearched Randomized Controlled Trials related to oriental medicine in Korea. According to guidelines defined by CONSORT statement, they assessed whether 37 items were followed by guidelines at yes or no answers in order to evaluate the quality as well. They assessed the definition of each item independently. After comparing, they made a decision on the item of different outcomes through an agreement with a third party. Results : Total number of randomized controlled trials in Atopic Dermatitis related to oriental medicine is eleven. A randomized controlled trial was first published in 2007. One or two papers associated it were released every year except 2013. 9 papers of them were approved by Institutional Review Board and were received written consent. The study included between 20 to 40 subjects for 2-arm parallel study design. The effect of treatment was observed for 4 to 8 weeks. On average, the number followed guidelines was 18.64 among those of 37 CONSORT statement and 50.38% of them was followed overall. Conclusion : As an interest about randomized controlled trials was increased, it was needed to care the standard providing information of CONSORT statement on randomized controlled trials related to oriental medicine in Korea. It is suggested to provide more clear information about it, so that it can be a motive for improving quality of the journal in oriental medicine.

성취평가중심 영어수업 활성화를 위한 고등학교 성취평가 현황 분석 연구 (Analysis of Current State of High School Achievement Evaluation for Enhancing English Class based on Achievement Assessment)

  • 4차 산업혁명 시대에 맞는 창의 인성교육을 위해 고등학교 현장에서는 입시위주의 결과중심 평가에서 학습과 성장을 돕는 과정중심 성취평가로의 안착이 필요하다. 본 연구는 성취평가 분석프로그램(TELL)을 활용해 지필평가 문항분석과 대전지역 고등학교 교과군별 성취평가 기준안을 분석하여, 성취평가 중심의 영어수업 활성화를 모색해보는데 있다. 대전광역시 일반고 및 특목고(50개교) 성취평가제 운영현황을 분석을 위해 각 학교별 홈페이지 정보 공시된 영어 및 교과군별 수행평가 기준안을 모두 분석하였다. 핵심성취기준을 토대로 세계시민교육(GCED)내용을 주제로 재구성된 영어수업을 진행하였으며 영어교과활동과 연계한 진로의식, 성적향상도, 교수법 차이 등을 알아보기 위해 SPSS Win 20.0프로그램을 사용하여 t-test, ANOVA를 실시하였다. 또한, 지필평가는 고등학교 성적표 산출프로그램(TELL)을 활용해 학생 성취도를 구체적으로 분석하였으며 답지반응분포분석을 통해서 학생 개별 성취도 특성을 구체적으로 파악하여 개별학교의 특성에 맞도록 평가계획을 수립해 운영하는데 활용할 수 있도록 하였다.
