  • The TEA complex polymeric sol was prepared by the alkoxide sol-gel method. The purpsoe of this experiment was to vefity the particle shape in the sol from the investigation of the rheological properties. TEA retarded hydrolysis rate by the reaction with alkoxide enough to make a stable transparent sol in the wide range of composition. From the results of the viscosity change with time, the optimum mole ratio for spinning was selected as 0.5 mole of TEA, 3 mole of H2O and the optimum viscosity was 104 cPs. The rheological behavior of the sol showed that the particle shape in the sol was linear, which was adequate for fiber drawing.

  • Recently, intellectual property problem caused by illegal copy or circulation of digital contents with computer and advance of network. it will lose producer's desire and cause economic losses. so we need to demand ownership protection technology for prevent illegal copy without an owner consent and protect ownership with effect. in this paper, we change digital image at frequency domain and choose a factor choosing frequency area with human perceptibility. we inserted repetitive and adaptive watermark on the whole image by Labview Machine Vision. watermark inserted into the high frequency concentrated textual area with Wavelet Transform and then reduced damage of image by human visual feature after inserted watermark

  • Confocal scanning microscopy (CSM) is an important instrument in a wide variety of imaging applications because of its ability to provide three-dimensional images of thick, volume specimens. The mechanism for two-dimensional beam scanning and optical sectioning has an important roe in CSM as the three-dimensional profiler. This optical sectioning property arises from the use of a point detector, which serves to attenuate the signals from out-of-focus. The intensity profile for the open loop scanning should be matched with its response for the standard. The non-linearity can be minimized with the optical sectioning or the optical probe of the closed loop control. This paper shows the mathematical expression of the light such as the extinction curve in the optical fields of system using AO deflector, the axial/lateral response experimentally when the error sources change, and the methods of optical sectioning.   • The aerodynamic torque and power caused by the interaction between the wind and blade of wind turbine are highly nonlinear. For this reason, the overall dynamic behaviors of wind turbine have nonlinear characteristics. The aerodynamic nonlinearity also affects properties of torque control for wind turbine. In this paper, the nonlinear aerodynamic property according to the wind speed below rated power and its effects on the torque control system are investigated. Nonlinear parameter representing change of aerodynamic torque with respect to rotor speed is obtained by linearization technique. Effects of this aerodynamic nonlinear parameter on the closed-loop torque system with PI controller for an 1.5 MW wind turbine are presented.

Geometrical Distortion-Resilient Watermarking Based on Image Features

  • The major threat of geometric manipulations is that they change the positions of watermarks, therefore the detection process fails to extract watermark properly. Since they cause the same effects on the host image as watermarks simultaneously, evaluating the distorted host image can be helpful to measure the nature of distortions. In this paper, we propose a geometrical distortion-resilient watermarking algorithm based on this property. Firstly we evaluate the orientation of a host image by filtering it with directional Gabor kernels, then we insert embedding pattern aligned to the estimated orientation. In its detection step, we evaluate the orientation again by Gabor filtering, then simply project and average the projected value to obtain a 1-D projection average pattern. Finally, auto-correlation function of the 1-D projection average pattern identifies periodic peaks. Analysed are experimental results against geometrical attacks including aspect ratio changes.

순수 티타늄 주조체의 주형온도에 따른 미세조직 및 기계적 성질 (Microstructures and Mechanical Properties of Pure Titanium Casting Specimens with Mold Temperatures)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the change of microstructures and mechanical properties of pure titanium casting specimens as a function of mold temperatures. Methods: The pure titanium castings were fabricated using the centrifugal vacuum casting method with different mold temperatures of $200{\sim}500^{\circ}C$. The resulting castings were characterized by optical microscopy, scanning electron microscopy, energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy and vicker,s hardness tester. Results: In case of the mold temperatures over $400^{\circ}C$, the porosity, surface crack and large grain size were observed in resulting castings. Conclusion: In this work, The most suitable mold temperature in casting of pure titanium was $300^{\circ}C$.

Neck Formation in Drawing Processes of Fibers

  • To better understand the formation of necking in drawing processes of fibers, strain distributions during drawing processes have been analyzed. For simplicity, one-dimensional incompressible steady flow at a constant temperature was assumed and quasi-static model was used. To describe mechanical properties of solid polymers, non-linear visco-plastic material properties were assumed using the power law type hardening and rate-sensitive equation. The effects of various parameters on the neck formation were matematically analyzed. As material property parameters, strain-hardening parameter, visco-elastic coefficient and strain-rate sensitivity were considered and, for process parameters, the drawing ratio and the process length were considered. It was found that rate-insensitive materials do not reach a steady flow state and the rate-sensitivity plays a key role to have a steady flow. Also, the neck formation is mainly affected by material properties, especially for the quasi-static model. If the process length changes, the strain distribution was found to be proportionally re-distributed along the process line by the factor of the total length change.

면섬유 및 한지섬유의 자연염색 및 기능성광물처리에 의한 쾌적성의 변화 (The Change of Comfort Properties of Cotton and Hanjee Fabrics with Natural Dyeing and Functional Mineral Treatment)

  • In this study, the comfort properties of cotton and Hanjee fabrics dyed with Inonotus obliquus and treated with illite were evaluated and compared. Results were as follows; 1) W/T values and WC/W values of cotton and Hanjee fabrics were decreased when they were dyed with Inonotus obliquus and treated with illite. 2) Although air permeability of cotton fabrics was higher than that of Hanjee fabrics, air permeability of cotton and Hanjee fabrics dyed with Inonotus obliquus and treated with illite was decreased. 3) Thermal conductivity of cotton and Hanjee fabrics dyed with Inonotus obliquus was increased whereas thermal retain property was decreased. 4) Water absorption of Hanjee fabrics was higher than that of cotton fabrics. Water absorption of cotton and Hanjee fabrics dyed with Inonotus obliquus and treated with illite was increased. 5) Deodorization rate of Hanjee fabrics was greater than that of cotton fabrics.

  • The electro-reheoligical(ER) effect refers to the abrupt change in viscosity in certain suspensions on application of an electric field. This paper presents experimental results on material properties of an ER fluids subjected to electrical fatigues. As a first step, two types of EF fluids are made of arabic gum and methyl cellulose(MC) choosing 25% of parti-cle weight-concentration. Following the construction of test mechanism for electrical durability of ER fluid, the dynamic yield shear stress and current density of the ER fluids are experimentally distilled as a function of electric field. The yield shear stress of operated ER fluids are distilled and compared with those of unused ER fluids.

  • The hardening system of polyurethanes has usually caused by air pollution. bad working condition and fire hazard according to using orgarnic solvents. Therefore there have been researched on emulsion, water soluble and colloid-dispersion based water soluble instead of using organic solvents recently. This study synthesized polyurethane dispersing particle by means of mixing precursor and neutralized emulsion method. In the first step, polyurethane was preparated from isophorone diisocyanate and poly (ethylene-adipate) glycol, and got precursor by introducing dimethyl propionic acid as a hydrophilic group. Synthesized polyurethane was bonded to the surface of fiber and crosslinked as a anti-static agent, and then looked for the change of color and softening property.
