Low-Frequency Haptic Interface Developed for Electrical Safety Experience Education

  • Electric shock due to the increased use of power, equipment accidents, electrical accidents, such as electric fire and also continues to grow. To prevent electric shock accidents, an experience education is more effective than indoctrination education. But an electric shock experience education system required a proper physical stimulation on human body to experience electric shock. In this study, we conducted a study to take advantage of the realistic haptic interface using a low-frequency type experiential learning and prevention education. Results of this study could be applied to an electric shock experience education system.

  • According to the development of scientific technique, approvement of income level, diversification of recreation, etc., modem society human being demand for the facility for communication, education, and information in the community. So, School is watched by the community as a continuing education center where is expropriated diversify demands. On the other hand, the fact is that education program by community demands in the school facility has not been set. Then, this study aim to suggest to proper education program by consequence of question.

  • This study is a randomized pretest-posttest design that aims to investigate the effect of early entrepreneurship education on cognitive and non- early entrepreneurship education, non-cognitive skills, creativity, self-efficacy, Bizworld cognitive skills of male sixth-grade primary school students. A total of 45 students were selected by multi-stage random sampling method and were assigned randomly to experimental, active-control and control groups. The experimental group received entrepreneurship education based on the Bizworld entrepreneurship program. The results indicate that early entrepreneurship education had an effect on non-cognitive skills (such as risk taking propensity, creativity, self-efficacy, persistence and need for achievement. It seems that early entrepreneurship education is a proper strategy to develop children's non-cognitive skills in late years of primary school. These skills will affect children's individual, educational, social and occupational future and can have long term benefits for students, families and society.

지속가능 발전교육 활성화를 위한 환경교육 시범학교 운영 개선 방안 (A Study on the Improvement of the Management of Environmental Education Model School)

  • The purpose of this study is to evaluate an environmental education model school and to devise proper plans for school management through the school eco-audit. The results of this study are as follows. Firstly, environmental education model school is analysed from view point of planning and executing. So that, environmental education model school put emphasis on executing rather than planning. It requires to emphasis planning, for example, establishing environment management system, ecological measures, environment reporting. Secondly, environmental education model school is in the incipient stage as the environment prevention. The preparation for planning is inefficient compared to the ecological pretest of school eco-audit. In the aspect of ecological measures and education, the participant of all the school staff is unsatisfactory. In conclusion, the school eco-audit could be presented as a key role for establishing basic organizational conditions, ecological measures and education for sustainable development, It is necessary to drive environmental education model school to achieve extended effect for sustainable society.

초등학생을 위한 인공식용색소 정보전달 교육매체 개발 (Development of a Risk Communication Material on Artificial Food Color Additives for Elementary School Students)

  • The purpose of this study was to develop a risk communication material on artificial food color additives for elementary school students. The development was based on a previous study on the perception and information needs of elementary school students on artificial food colors including that the students usually were interested in artificial food colors, but didn't know about those well, and they wanted to get information on the safety of their intake, function and necessity of food color additives. Based on the above results, a comic book on artificial food colors was developed as a risk communication material for the elementary school students by brainstorming and consultation with experts. The book was titled as 'Variegated artificial food colors! Understanding and Eating'. It contained basic information on food additives focused on artificial food colors including definition, function, calculation of ADI, usage of artificial food colors, quizzes and useful web sites, etc. The results of field evaluation for the developed material by 101 elementary school students were very positive in getting the correct information, understanding artificial food colors and having proper attitude for healthy dietary life. Therefore, the developed material could be used to help elementary school students have proper perception on artificial food colors and facilitate the risk communication on food additives.

교육용 프로그래밍 언어와 정보영재아동의 프로그래밍능력의 상관관계분석 연구 (A Study on Correlation Analysis of EPL and Programming Ability for the Gifted Children in IT)

  • 현대 지식정보사회에 있어서 한 국가의 핵심 산업은 정보산업에 달려있으며, 국가경쟁력의 향상을 위해 무엇보다도 정보 분야의 육성이 중요하다. 따라서 정보사회를 선도할 수 있는 정보영재의 발굴 및 육성은 매우 중요하다. 또한 정보영재 교육에 있어서 프로그래밍은 매우 중요한 부분을 차지하고 있다. 본 연구의 목적은 교육용 프로그래밍 언어(Educational Programming Language: EPL)가 정보영재아동의 프로그래밍 능력을 나타낼 수 있는 가를 밝혀내는 것이다. 이를 위해 가장 널리 사용되는 EPL 중의 하나인 스크래치(Scratch) 언어를 선택하여 기존의 고급 프로그래밍 언어인 비주얼 베이직 언어와의 상관관계 분석을 실시하였다. 통계분석을 통한 결과, EPL은 정보영재아동의 프로그래밍 능력을 측정하기에는 한계가 있다는 결론을 얻었다. 본 연구결과는 향후 정보영재의 판별 및 정보영재교육과정에 많은 도움이 되리라 기대한다.

창의적 생산력의 하위 요소 탐색 및 수학영재의 창의적 문제해결 모델 개발 (The Research on Developing Model of Creative Problem Solving for the Mathematically Gifted)

  • 창의적 생산력 신장은 우리나라 영재교육의 목표 중 하나로, 실제 영재교육 현장에서의 학습-지도 및 평가 활동의 주요 초점이 여기에 맞춰져 있다. 수학영재교육의 목표와 교육 활동도 다르지 않으며 이를 위해 수학영재의 창의적 생산력을 어떻게 정의하고 어떤 과정을 통해 이를 신장시킬 것인지에 대한 연구가 필요하다. 이 연구는 수학영재의 특성과 능력을 정의하고 파악하는 데에는 어떤 특화된 능력 요소가 고려되어야 할 것인지 고찰하여 창의적 생산력의 하위요소를 인지적 능력, 창의적 문제해결을 해 낼 수 있는 수행능력, 그리고 스스로의 정의적 특성이나 정서적 요인을 조정하고 인지, 수행 과정을 모니터링, 조정, 운영하는 메타-조정능력으로 구분하였다. 이에 창의적 생산력 발현의 핵심과정이 되는 창의적 문제해결 과정을 설명하고 실제 학습-지도 과정에서 활용하기 위한, 수학영재의 창의적 생산력 신장을 위한 방안 모색의 일환으로서 수학영재의 창의적 문제해결 모델을 제시하였다.

경남 일부 초등학교 중학년의 식행동, 영양지식 및 식생활교육요구도 (Eating Behavior, Nutrition knowledge, and Educational Needs of the Food and Nutrition of Elementary School Students in the Gyeungnam Province)

  • This study was conducted to provide basic data for development of a dietary education textbook and guidebook by investigating and analyzing eating behavior, nutrition knowledge and educational needs in elementary school students. Most of the subjects were eating three meals a day (71.5%) and breakfast (75.3%). The percentage of students who consumed proper amount of meals (49.2%) was low. The percentage of students consuming salty food and fatty foods was 28.6% and 42.1%, respectively. The consumption of meat, fish, egg, bean and tofu was high, while the consumption of vegetables, fruits and seaweed was low. The percentage of students consuming processed food was high, but the percentage reading nutrition labels (34.9%) and hazard analysis critical control point (HACCP) mark (26.9%) when buying processed foods was very low. Total scores of eating behavior and nutrition knowledge were significantly higher in female students than in male students (p < 0.05-p < 0.001). The desirable frequency of the education was once a week (60.5%). The most preferred educational method was 'experiment and cooking practice' (40.1%). The students wanted dietary information as 'cooking' (39.0%). As a result of this study, many problems were found in the eating behavior of students and nutritional knowledge was observed to be low as well. On the other hand, the demand for dietary education was very high. The findings of this study suggested the need for developing dietary education programs in order to encourage proper eating habits of students.

  • Let G be a group. Let R be a G-graded commutative ring with identity and M be a G-graded multiplication module over R. A proper graded submodule Q of M is semiprime if whenever $I^nK{\subseteq}Q$, where $I{\subseteq}h(R)$, n is a positive integer, and $K{\subseteq}h(M)$, then $IK{\subseteq}Q$. We characterize semiprime submodules of M. For example, we show that a proper graded submodule Q of M is semiprime if and only if grad$(Q){\cap}h(M)=Q+{\cap}h(M)$. Furthermore if M is finitely generated then we prove that every proper graded submodule of M is contained in a graded semiprime submodule of M. A proper graded submodule Q of M is said to be almost semiprime if (grad(Q)$\cap$h(M))n(grad$(0_M){\cap}h(M)$) = (Q$\cap$h(M))n(grad$(0_M){\cap}Q{\cap}h(M)$). Let K, Q be graded submodules of M. If K and Q are almost semiprime in M such that Q + K $\neq$ M and $Q{\cap}K{\subseteq}M_g$ for all $g{\in}G$, then we prove that Q + K is almost semiprime in M.

공과대학 신입생의 핵심역량 인식수준을 통한 공학교육방향 연구 (The Study on Proper Way for Engineering University Education: Based on the Perception of Current Competencies and Expected Competencies of Engineering Freshmen)

  • 본 연구는 대학교육을 통하여 획득해야 하는 핵심역량들을 추출하여 공과대학 신입생들이 인식하는 현재의 역량수준과 기대하는 역량수준을 조사하고 공과대학 교육의 방향성을 탐색해 보고자 하는데 목적이 있다. 핵심역량에 대한 문헌분석을 통해서, '전공능력', '교양능력', '외국어능력', '기초수학능력', '인간소통능력'의 5가지를 공학교육의 목표와 내용이 되어야 할 핵심 역량으로 추출하였다. 이를 연구도구화 한 뒤, C대학교 공과대학 신입생 584명을 대상으로 핵심역량에 대한 현재인식수준과 기대인식수준을 조사 연구하였다. 연구 결과, 첫째, 신입생들은 모든 역량에서 현재 역량수준이 낮다고 인식하고 있었으며, 특히 '외국어 역량'에 대한 인식수준이 가장 낮았다. 기대인식수준에 대한 교육요구도 '외국어능력'이 가장 높았고, '전공능력'은 두 번째로 높았다. 둘째, 신입생들의 하위특성을 성별, 고등학교 계열별, 출신고등학교의 지역별, 대학입학전형 유형별, 수능 수리유형별로 차이검증을 실시한 결과, 하위특성별로 현재인식수준과 기대인식수준간에 유의미한 차이가 있었다. 연구결과를 토대로, 본 연구는 공과대학 교육의 방향으로 외국어(영어)교육의 강화, 학습자의 하위 특성에 따른 개인차 해소를 위한 다양한 교육프로그램 설계 및 실행, 전공능력뿐 아니라 교양능력 및 인간소통능력의 중요성에 대한 인식 제고와 관련 프로그램의 강화, 교수-학습과정에 대한 피드백 자료 축적을 통한 공학 교육프로그램의 지속적인 수정 보완작업, 공학교육과정과 특별프로그램을 통한 진로교육의 활성화를 제언하였다.
