Quite recently, Zhou, Lu and Cao proposed a proxy-protected signature scheme based on the RSA assumption and two proxy-protectcd schemes based on the hardness of integer factorization. Dey also provided a security proof for each signature scheme in the random oracle model. In this paper, we show that their schemes do not satisfy a security requirement necessary for proxy signature schemes. This results in generating proxy signature without fay Permission from an original signer.

In a traditional Single Sign-On (SSO) scheme, the user and the Service Providers (SPs) have given their trust to the Identity Provider (IdP) or Authentication Service Provider (ASP) for the authentication and correct assertion. However, we still need a better solution for the local/native true SSO to gain user confidence, whereby the trusted entity must play the role of the ASP between distinct SPs. This technical gap has been filled by Trusted Computing (TC), where the remote attestation approach introduced by the Trusted Computing Group (TCG) is to attest whether the remote platform integrity is indeed trusted or not. In this paper, we demonstrate a Trustworthy Mutual Attestation (TMutualA) protocol as a proof of concept implementation for a local true SSO using the Integrity Measurement Architecture (IMA) with the Trusted Platform Module (TPM). In our proposed protocol, firstly, the user and SP platform integrity are checked (i.e., hardware and software integrity state verification) before allowing access to a protected resource sited at the SP and releasing a user authentication token to the SP. We evaluated the performance of the proposed TMutualA protocol, in particular, the client and server attestation time and the round trip of the mutual attestation time.

In this paper, we are interested in a generalization of zero-knowledge interactive protocols between prover and verifier, especially to show that the product of an encrypted polynomial and a random polynomial, but published by a secure commitment scheme was correctly computed by the prover. To this end, we provide a generalized protocol for proving that the resulting polynomial is correctly computed by an encrypted polynomial and another committed polynomial. Further we show that the protocol is also secure in the random oracle model. We expect that our generalized protocol can play a role of building blocks in implementing secure multi-party computation including private set operations.

Cognitive Radio (CR) has very promising potential to improve spectrum utilization by allowing unlicensed Secondary Users (SUs) to access the spectrum dynamically without disturbing licensed Primary Users (PUs). Mitigating interference is a fundamental problem in CR scenarios. This is particularly problematic for deploying CR in cellular networks, when users are located at the cell edge, as the inter-cell interference mitigation and frequency reuse are critical requirements for both PUs and SUs. Further cellular networks require higher cell edge performance, then SUs will meet more challenges than PUs. To solve the performance decrease for SUs at the cell edge, a novel Dynamic Spectrum Allocation (DSA) scheme based on Game Theory is proposed in this paper. Full frequency reuse can be realized as well as inter-cell interference mitigated according to SUs' sensing, measurement and interaction in this scheme. A joint power/channel allocation algorithm is proposed to improve both cell-edge user experience and network performance through distributed pricing calculation and exchange based on game theory. Analytical proof is presented and simulation results show that the proposed scheme achieves high efficiency of spectrum usage and improvement of cell edge SUs' performance.

To improve the security of OAuth 2.0 access token transportation and satisfy the challenge of resources constraint caused by the bearer token access mechanism of the OAuth 2.0, we proposed an extensional client authentication scheme that is based on the Proof-of-Possession (PoP) token mechanism. By improving the integrity of PoP token, we bind a PoP key of a public/private key pair to the PoP token. The authorization server and the resource server can authenticate the identity of the client by verifying whether the client has the possession of the PoP token. If the client can prove that it has a PoP key that matches the PoP token, then the identity of the client can be authenticated. This experimental evaluation can confirm that this scheme effectively dealing with the issue of client identity authentication and reduce resources consumption.
Resource sharing is a major advantage of distributed computing. However, a distributed computing system may have some physical or virtual resource that may be accessible by a single process at a time. The mutual exclusion issue is to ensure that no more than one process at a time is allowed to access some shared resource. The article proposes a token-based mutual exclusion algorithm for the clustered mobile ad hoc networks (MANETs). The mechanism that is adapted to handle token passing at the inter-cluster level is different from that at the intra-cluster level. It makes our algorithm message efficient and thus suitable for MANETs. In the interest of efficiency, we implemented a centralized token passing scheme at the intra-cluster level. The centralized schemes are inherently failure prone. Thus, we have presented an intra-cluster token passing scheme that is able to tolerate a failure. In order to enhance reliability, we applied a distributed token circulation scheme at the inter-cluster level. More importantly, the message complexity of the proposed algorithm is independent of N, which is the total number of nodes in the system. Also, under a heavy load, it turns out to be inversely proportional to n, which is the (average) number of nodes per each cluster. We substantiated our claim with the correctness proof, complexity analysis, and simulation results. In the end, we present a simple approach to make our protocol fault tolerant.

Digital fingerprinting schemes are cryptographic methods that a seller can identify a traitor who illegally redistributed digital contents by embedding it into buyer's information. Recently, Josep Domingo-Ferrer suggested an anonymous digital fingerprinting scheme based on committed oblivious transfer protocol. It is significant in the sense that it is completely specified from a computation point of view and is thus readily implementable. But this scheme has the serious problem that it cannot provide the security of buyers. In this paper, we first show how to break the existing committed oblivious transfer-based fingerprinting schemes and then suggest secure fingerprinting scheme by introducing oblivious transfer protocol with two-lock cryptosystem based on discrete logarithm. All computations are performed efficiently and the security degree is strengthened in our proposal.
Handover in high speed mobile communication service, in particulary mobile WiMAX is supported efficiency mobility to 120km/h speed. But, in order to accommodate number of user increment in a cell, wireless network is increment to microcell and picocell by allocate bandwidth and by decrease cell size. handover is occurrent and increment connection failure ratio In this result. IEEE 802.16 standard is support seamless connection through handover optimization scheme. But because authentication process is abbreviate, network weakness is exposure. In this paper, we propose handover scheme for support realtime service as VoIP, Picure communication, Streaming Data Service in order to support partially encryption method. In experiment, proposed scheme is proof which process time is increment 20% more than previous scheme.
Smart home based on Internet of things (IoT) is rapidly emerging as an exciting research and industry field. However, security and privacy have been critical issues due to the open feature of wireless communication channel. As a step towards this direction, Shuai et al. proposed an anonymous authentication scheme for smart home environment using Elliptic curve cryptosystem. They provided formal proof and heuristic analysis and argued that their scheme is secure against various attacks including de-synchronization attack, mobile device loss attack and so on, and provides user anonymity and untraceability. However, this paper shows that Shuai et al.'s scheme does not provide user anonymity nor untraceability, which are very important features for the contemporary IoT network environment.

In this paper, we propose a new fault tolerant ATM Switch and a new adaptive self-routing scheme used to make the switch to be fault tolerant. It can provide more multiple paths than the related previous switches between an input/output pair of a switch by adding extra links between switching elements in the same stage and extending the self-routing scheme of the Banyan network. Our routing scheme is as simple as that of the banyan network, which is based on the topological relationships among the switching elements (SE’s) that render a packet to the same destination with the regular self-routing. These topological properties of the Banyan network are discovered in this paper. We present an algebraic proof to show the correctness of this scheme, and an analytic reliability analysis to provide quantitative comparisons with other switches, which shows that the new switch is more cost effective than the Banyan network and other augmented MIN’s in terms of the reliability.
