  • Currently, accreditation within medical education is a priority on the agenda for many countries worldwide. The World Federation for Medical Education's (WFME) launch of its first trilogy of standards in 2003 was a seminal event in promoting accreditation within basic medical education (BME) globally. Parallel to that, WFME also actively spearheaded a project to recognize the accrediting agencies within individual countries. The introduction of competency-based medical education (CBME) with the two key concepts of "entrusted professional activity" and milestones has enabled researchers to identify the relationship between patient outcomes and medical education. Recent data driven by CBME has been used for the continuous quality improvement of trainees and training programmes as well. The goal of accreditation has shifted from the single purpose of quality assurance to balancing quality assurance and quality improvement. Even though there are a plethora of types of postgraduate medical education (PGME), it may be possible to accredit resident programmes on a global scale by adopting the concept of CBME. In addition, the alignment of the accreditation for BME and PGME, which center on competency, will be achievable. This argument may extend the possibility of measuring the outcomes of the accreditation itself against patient outcomes as well. Therefore, evidence of the advantages of costly and labor-consuming accreditation processes will be available in the near future and quality improvement will be the driving force of the accreditation process.

  • This study examined the applicability of creative drama to a social competence program for poorly accepted(socially at-risk) elementary school children. The subjects were 40 $2^{nd}$(n=20) and $5^{th}$(n=20) grade children. The experimental group(n=20) participated in a social competence program that included 18 sessions of the creative drama activities during winter vacation. The Peer Rating Scale, the Peer Competence Scale, and the Quality of Friendship Scale were administered as pre- and post-test. Covariance analyses showed no differences between experimental and control groups on peer competence and quality of friendship, but the children who participated in the program showed some differences in total scores and sub-areas on quality of friendship by grade and level of peer pre-acceptance.

  • Two step growth of reduced pressure chemical vapor eposition has been successfully developed to achieve in-situ phosphorus-doped silicon epilayers, and the characteristic evolution on their microstructures has been investigated using scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy, and secondary ion mass spectroscopy. The two step growth, which employs heavily in-situ P doped silicon buffer layer grown at low temperature, proposes crucial advantages in manipulating crystal structures of in-situ phosphorus doped silicon. In particular, our experimental results showed that with annealing of the heavily P doped silicon buffer layers, high-quality epitaxial silicon layers grew on it. the heavily doped phosphorus in buffer layers introduces into native oxide and plays an important role in promoting the dispersion of native oxides. Furthermore, the phosphorus doping concentration remains uniform depth distribution in high quality single crystalline Si films obtained by the two step growth.

  • This study attempted to identify the service satisfaction with the 119 emergency service and the factors that affect it based on the responses of subjects who used the service. Data collection was conducted from February 11 to March 11, 2021, using convenience sampling. A total of 1842 subjects who used emergency medical services using 119 ambulance in 2020 participated. For the collected data, frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation were calculated, and t-test, analysis of variance, and multiple regression analysis were performed using SPSS 23.0. Based on these results, to further enhance the satisfaction of users of the 119 emergency service and the quality of emergency medical services, it is important to improve the quality of paramedics through education and systems. In addition, to increase user satisfaction, efficient and systematic communication education is required. The quality of emergency medical services will increase only when communication skills required for explanations and promoting understanding are improved.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of patient's perceived medical quality of service on satisfaction, hospital reputation, and loyalty to provide a strategic way to increase profitability and competitiveness of hospitals by preventing the departure of existing customers and promoting reuse. AMOS 20.0 was used for structural model analysis and identification factor analysis and SPSS 21.0 program was used for empirical analysis. As a result, the quality of medical service had a significant effect on satisfaction and reputation, and the quality of medical service had the greatest effect on satisfaction. Satisfaction has a positive effect on reputation and loyalty and is an important factor in determining loyalty. Recognizing the importance of improving quality of service and building relationships with patients should be prepared for strengthening relationships.

  • In this Study, the results of survey of evaluation cases on 10 GIS software were used as quality level index of GIS software in order to evaluate the quality of GIS (Geographic Information System) software. On the basis of such evaluation, analysis on the cost of improving the defectiveness accumulated of GIS software test cases was made. I am attempting to deduce the results that can be used assertively in promoting the justification for quality investment of enterprises or industrial units by quantitatively computing the cost essential in securing the quality by measuring the investment and effects on the quality through this.

  • The objective of present study is to compare the similarities and differences between the two projects and extract implications for the improvement of higher education quality in other countries. To meet this objective, The study compared and analyzed "The Project of Higher Education Quality Development and Educational Reform of China" and "Technical Education Quality Improvement Programme" of government of India. by using the method of literature research, contents analysis and comparison analysis, this paper employed multi-source materials to examine background and targets, measures and outcomes, deficiencies and future direction of these two projects, and compared the similarities and diversities on each matters by utilizing secondary data from national surveys, government statistics, databases, and third-party agencies. The findings led us to suggest that the well-coordinated and standardized administrative system is a primary guarantee for ensuring the smooth implementation of the programme, and sharing educational resources among higher education institutions is an effective means for promoting their joint development. The improvement of higher education quality relies on the reform of the entire higher education system and the efficient networking between higher education institutions.

  • At the point of growth management, weighted values for the each index have been calculated by applying AHP method based on the interview. With calculated weighted values, an example assessment had been performed on Gyunggi area, a typical place where urban growth management is needed urgently, and intended to provide applicable implications by analyzing them when establishing the means of the urban growth management plans. The result of this research is presented in order of the weight values highest to lowest as below: 'preventing disordered urban sprawl', 'protecting taxpayers', 'promoting efficient urban development' and 'improving the quality of life'. When applied to Gyunggi area, the results are in similar patterns: 'preventing disordered urban sprawl (11 cities)', 'protecting taxpayers (11 cities)', 'improving the quality of life (5 cities)' and 'promoting efficient urban development (4 cities)'. To build the well-balanced urban growth management plans, two factors must be in consideration as well as with others, 'Improving quality of the life' and 'promoting efficient urban development'. Furthermore, the result of the index in this research can provide a guidance to local governments of provinces and cities to build their urban growth management plans in the future.

Thirty two elderly persons were in the experimental group and the other thirty two elderly were in the control group. A 16 week health promotion program was given to the experimental group. The measurement tools were HPLP II, grip strength, back lift strength, flexibility, body fat percentile, blood sugar, serum cholesterol, and quality of life. Result: The experimental group showed a higer score of health promoting lifestyles, flexibility, grip strength, back lift strength, and quality of life. There were no differences in body fat percentiles, blood sugar and serum cholesterol between the experimental and control group. Conclusion: This health promotion program for elderly can be recommended as an effective nursing intervention for elderly in a community.
