This study shows the field of construction which was less developed in the aspect of information system in comparison to other areas needs to introduce construction information system and suggests it can make more value linked with company performance through the system. For the first step, it emphasizes the integrated enterprise approach not optimization of each sector in a company. This paper extracts the current issues of construction information from the core process of construction area and implies a driving plan and the future development plan for construction information. Antecedent studies for this drew the information structure model and the construction information-driving model of a construction company. Hence, case studies with management companies that implemented the construction information system successfully tested validity. This research brings the cases of PMS, the integrated finance system, and CRM system as successful ones.

My artwork, '1000 years', in the form of an animation film has been exhibited in the '2011 Haein Art project' of a special exhibition at the Haeinsa monastery compound. The '1000 years' represents the marvels of sacredness and Buddhist symbols using the surrealist expression of computer animation. This paper would argue how Buddhist idea can be explored by the surrealist expression of 3D computer animation. In the light of this, animation and surrealist expression will be reviewed by the epistemological approach and based on this, I would attempt to reveal how this computer animation film represents the meaning of Buddhist symbols which exist in the monastery compound. This research is processed by the case study related to my artwork as the form of art practice based research.

Korea national arboretum has worked with the plant taxonomic society of Korea to make the first fully electronic floristic checklist in Korea. The result is an ever-expanding online plant name index containing scientifically authorative, up-to-date information on the approximately 7,000 taxa including cultivars. With 37 contributing taxonomists, KPNI is the largest collaborative research projects ever assembled in Korea. A comprehensive database model for the taxonomic data from literature and other sources is presented, which was devised for the Korea National Plant Index database project (KPNI). Gwangreung database model is based on an approach using entity-relationsip diagram. It encompasses taxa of all ranks, nothotaxa and hybrid formulae, cultivars, full synonymy, basionyms, Korean name, and other nomenclatural information. Ths paper presents an analysis of KPNI work processes and an overview how we are approaching the construction of Gwangreung databaese model. It can help the system engineers of other biological information systems to develop their database based on the accurate and integrative taxonomic database.

The purpose of this study is to develop conflict management considering justification of planning decision by public involvement (PI) in the context of Korea as an approach to prevent conflicts for railway projects and to achieve consensus building between public and governments. In this study, to evaluate the effectiveness of conflict management in the process of railway planning, we examined the before and after survey on the light rail transit (LRT) planning that was previously conducted. We first conducted estimation on the causal relationships among factors related to acceptance of LRT planning by structural equation model. The estimation results show that conflict management activities and acceptance are positively related. We also discussed as follows: the level of recognition of railway project influences positive effects regardless of conflict management activities, the most important factor with respect to the acceptance is awareness for planning necessity.

Turnkey and alternative-design contracts was introduced operation in the country from january 2004 to February 2010. this was introduced operation. The selecting method of contractor for turnkey projects has being operated by an open forum type that consists of technical committee and appraisal committee in an integrated design approach deliberations. But to improve the operation of the problems, the government is operating design review committee consisting of the central, local and special design advisory committee in march 2010. But this system has also been suggested as still problems, too many contracts by large companies, increasing of design cost and excessive competition. This study is intended to contribute that turnkey and alternative-design contracts can be well operated in domestic construction markets. In this paper suggests some improvement methods and operational problems caused from application of an open forum type for selecting contractor of turnkey project.

Nowaday, local governments have planned to manage intelligent underground facilities through the u-City project. But, the intelligent underground facilities are in need of the progressive approach because of the required huge financial resources. Therefore, the objectives of this research are (1) to prioritize the monitoring items of sensing technology developments, (2) to study technological feasibilities, and (3) to discover the killer application which expands ripple effects on economy. To achieve these objectives, final monitoring items were derived from the business analysis of the water supply, the local government survey, the hearing expert opinions and so on. The priority order of final monitoring items were technology developments of (1) the flowmeter flux, (2) the water leakage/crack, (3) the pressure of water supply pipes, and (4) the flux of filtration plants. The research significance is obtained from the derivation and the evaluation of the priority order and the actual demand for the water supply facility management. And, the research results will contribute to the strategic planning for the underground facility intelligence.

The proportion of software in the automotive industry is steadily increasing due to the rapid technological development of automobile E/E parts. Because the automotive E/E technology is now on the basis of intelligent automobile and advanced safety automobile technology. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of organizational capability (organizational resource capability and management capability), process capability (process capability, customer Requirement management capability), performance dimension (motivation, participation level). In this study, we conducted questionnaires and statistical analysis on engineers (members of the Korea Advanced Automotive Technology Association) who perform research and development activities in the R&D organization of the automotive E/E part in South Korea. ANOVA is applied for the verification of the difference in performance measured by organizational capability, process maturity, and motivation participation level according to company characteristics (level of processing : supply chain configuration, annual sales, total SW development ratio). According to the results of this study, in order to improve the performance of ASPICE or ISO 26262-related consulting project, a different consulting approach strategy considering the characteristics of organization and personnel is needed. In summary, the analysis results for the three main treatment levels are as follows. The difference in organizational capacity, process capability and performance was found to be statistically significant according to supply chain configuration and annual sales, but it was found that the difference of response according to the proportion of total SW was not significant.

This study offers the possibility of a new integrated product of video technology and public culture content. The Development of 'the Urinal of Emotional Type with Screen' will introduce a new sanitary pottery product and it will be a new attempt to combine hygiene pottery product with high-tech electronic product. It is a product development idea that presents the new marketability of the sanitary pottery product with the improvement of awareness of the restroom and the idea of wit through public information notification and advertisement effect. For the commercialization of the product, the prototype will be made through a separate production process with the design of this project, through 3D rendering, 3D mockup and so on. Various product expansions can be consulted with manufacturers after that. It is a new approach of image making with high quality and differentiated pricing strategy, that targeting small-scale business, such as franchise coffee shops and liquor stores with high quality and differentiated pricing strategy, and it will lead the market trend with various marketing availability through differentiated video contents.

Housing can be defined as the vessel containing human life and each country has considerably different form and culture of it. This study aims to understand the society's common cultural values of house selection, decision making, an various housing issues. Consequently, applying a multidisciplinary approach, this project seeks to explore the correlations between people and housing, and between society and housing, to better understand the thought and culture of the housing residents. In order for doing it, adopting cultural value of housing as a tool, a comparative cultural study of housing values in East Asia starting from Korea and China will be conducted. Through such a comparative cultural study, it will be ultimately possible to grasp the locality and uniqueness of specific cultures with more clarity. A survey using questionnaire was conducted on 126 Korean Students and 145 Chinese students who are studying at K University in Seoul on a random sampling basis. The results of survey are as follow. Both Korean and Chinese college students gave higher values on neighborhood environment, convenience of transportation, privacy and safety, and to be given a higher value. On the other hand, they gave lower values on the symbolism of social status. Korean university college students gave higher considerations in the list of , , and than Chinese. Chinese college students gave higher consideration in the list of , and than Koreans. Even though this study has some limitations in generalizing the findings, we can understand the identity of Koreans and Chinese through the comparative study.

This study aims to help address concerns about the growing demand of wider bandwidth Internet connection in the Philippines. Using articles and research of international organizations and content from official websites of the Philippine government, this paper has carefully examined the slow Internet connectivity and the high cost that the end-users pay for it. This paper suggests that this inefficiency hampers the motivation of users to innovate in a way that could contribute to inclusive growth and the development of an inclusive information society. Through a comparison of the current global ICT situation with the current situation in the Philippines, this paper shows that the country's Internet infrastructure lags behind among those of contemporary developing countries in Asia, particularly in terms of Internet connectivity. In 2015, Thailand had an average Internet speed of 7.4 Mbps, Sri Lanka 7.4, and Malaysia 4.3. Meanwhile, the Philippines had a meager average Internet speed of 2.8 Mbps, placing the country at 104 among 160 countries, with developed countries in Asia such as South Korea (23.6 Mbps) and Singapore (12.9 Mbps) ranking 1 and 12, respectively. Findings show that the lack of competition in the Internet connectivity market, among other reasons, is at the root of the dilemma of slow and costly Internet connection. Assessing the accomplishments of the Republic of Korea and other broadband-leading countries has provided practical insights and recommendations that can promote competitiveness. Furthermore, related literature argues how ISP practices may affect Internet speed and cost. This study offers an approach in improving Internet connectivity in the Philippines by bridging the gap between the Internet infrastructure market and government policies.
