  • This work considers the elliptic restricted three-body problem under effects of radiation of the bigger primary, and an oblate spheroid for the smaller primary to mimic an exoplanetary system with a gas giant planet. Under the influences of both effects we look for the existence of the triangular equilibrium points and the influences of the radiation and oblateness on the locations and motion of the points. We set the system in a normalized rotating coordinate system and derive equations of motion for the third infinitesimal object. Our study shows that the effects modify the equilateral/isosceles triangle shape with respect to the primaries. The triangular points also have non-planar motion with period depending on the value of the planet oblateness.

  • Objectives: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effects and develop the role and contents of the atopic dermatitis care program with Korean medicine in a public health center. Methods: The data were collected from 180 parents and 43 kindergarten teachers who participated in a child care program with Korean medicine. The program ran from April to October of 2012. The atopic dermatitis conditions of children were reported by SCORAD index; the questionnaires to measure effect and satisfaction of the program were composed of demographic items, children's life habit change checklist, etc. The questionnaires were executed before and after the program. Results: The SCORAD index total scores decreased (1.3908) after the program, especially itching scores (1.1) and sleep disorder scores (0.5693) significantly. The satisfaction with the program was 88% and 77% of parents and teachers groups, respectively. Making food and treatment were mentioned as the best program. The Children's food preference for junk food, irritability, and anger also decreased after the program. Conclusions: From this study, the atopic dermatitis care program with Korean medicine is worthwhile for treating atopic dermatitis.

Based on the review of the previous research and program, this program was composed. It included the realistic expectations of marriage and sex, understanding of themselves and accepting differences, role expectations and intimacy in the relationship, communication and conflict resolution skills. To perform this program, six sessions of time-limited(100-150 minutes) were carried out. And the subjects were assigned to experimental group(N=4 couples) and control group(N=4 couples). Scales of PREPARE and SEI(Self-Esteem Inventory) were used as the pre-post-follow instruments of this study. Major findings were as follows: 1. Premarital Relationship Enrichment Program had meaningful consequences for the improvement of the participants self-esteem. 2. Premarital Relationship Enrichment Program had meaningful consequences for the improvement of the participants equal role, communication and conflict resolution skills.

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to verify the effects of a Qigong prenatal education program on anxiety, depression and physical symptoms in pregnant women. Method: The subjects were a total of 40 pregnant women who received regular prenatal care at S hospital. Twenty people were enrolled in the Qigong prenatal education program and were assigned to the experimental group. The other 20 people who received regular prenatal care only were the control group. The Qigong prenatal education program was given to the experimental group once a week and 2 hours per session for 4 weeks. Anxiety, depression and physical symptoms were collected by a self-administered study questionnaire at the pre- and post-test. Result: There were no significant differences in subjects' general characteristics or pretest scores of study variables at the pretest indicating both groups were homogeneous. Differential t-tests were used to test the effects of the Qigong prenatal education program on study variables. Pregnant women who received the Qigong prenatal education program had a lower level of depression than those who did not attend(t=2.23, p=.03). There were no significant differences on anxiety and physical symptoms. Conclusion: The Qigong prenatal education program was effective in alleviating depression during pregnancy. However, further study is needed to replicate the results with a greater sample size and to investigate the long term effects of the program on the labor and delivery process.

  • Purpose: The aim of this study was to identify the effects of a newly developed instructional coaching program regarding Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) for teachers. Methods: Seventy teachers participated in this study involving a nonequivalent control group and a pretest-posttest design. The instructional coaching program consisted of eight 60-minute sessions. The program was developed through a theoretical development program involving six steps. To evaluate the effects of the program, data were collected through self-report questionnaires including the Knowledge Scale of Attention Deficit Disorder, Attitude Scale of Primary School Teachers Experiencing Students with ADHD, Practice Scale of Educational Intervention Activity, and the Korean ADHD Rating Scale. Data were analyzed with an independent t test, a chi-square test, and an ANCOVA using SPSS WIN version 20. Results: The intervention program consisted of 3 sectors, 8 subjects, and 24 content items. The experimental group showed a significant improvement in attitudes toward ADHD (F=22.83, p<.001). In addition, teacher's knowledge regarding ADHD (F=7.16, p=.010) and the implementation of instructional interventions (F=4.29, p=.043) improved. Further, teachers reported a reduction in children's ADHD-related behavior (F=4.34, p=.041). Results showed that the coaching program made a positive contribution to teaching skills and understanding of school-age children with ADHD. Conclusion: The instructional coaching program was well structured and significantly improved not only teachers'attitudes, knowledge, and teaching skills but also the behavior of children with ADHD in class. Therefore, the program is recommended as a means of facilitating teaching and managing children with ADHD in class.

  • The purpose of this study were to develop a M-STEAM program for first grades in elementary school and investigate the effects of the program on their learning motivation for the math subject and creative personality. For those purpose, this study set the following research questions. Research Question 1 : How will a M-STEAM program be devised applicable to first grades in elementary school? Research Question 2 : What kind of effect does a M-STEAM program have on the learning motivation and creative personality of students? The findings were as follows: First, lesson contents were reorganized by keeping the Unit 3 in the second semester of first grade in the current math curriculum under the convergence theme of "Build an environment friendly future city" to which the STEAM elements were added. Developed program promoted mathematical thinking ability for problem solving in the process of operating the number of blocks. Through the M-STEAM program, convergence thinking was created from a new perspective by exerting creativity in such process. Second, the STEAM program had effects on the learning motivation and creative personality of first graders in math subject. The t-test results show that the STEAM program developed in this study increased the fun and interest of students, helped with their concentration, and promoted their understanding of mathematical concepts. Therefore the M-STEAM program had positive impacts on the learning motivation and creative personality of first graders in math learning.

  • This study is aimed to analyze the economic feasibility of the selective breeding program on the Oliver flounder aquaculture. First of all, in order to evaluate this program, we review the concept and research trend on the selective breeding. The objective of this research is the selective breeding program on the Oliver flounder aquaculture in the Genetics and Breeding Research Center, NFRDI. It was conducted to investigated economic effects of three factors of the selective breeding program on the Oliver flounder aquaculture such as fast growth, disease resistance and increase exports. The results of economic analysis of the selective breeding program on the Oliver flounder aquaculture are as follows; First, there were the significant meaning of the economic effects on the technology of the selective breeding program by fast growth, disease resistance and increase exports. Second, we analyzed in the economic feasibility of the selective breeding program on the Oliver flounder aquaculture from 2004 to 2020, internal rate of return(IRR) was 419%, a benefit-cost ratio was shown to be 24.92, net present value(NPV) was 989,942,464 thousand won, which indicates the economic feasibility of the selective breeding program is very high. Finally, in order to improve the economic feasibility, there is need to be focused on the efficient the selective breeding program on the Oliver flounder aquaculture.
