This study is an exploratory research whose purpose is to determine the possibility for a cook to firmly establish his/her position as a profession in the society. In that respect, it analyzed how much a cook as a profession was professionalized by investigating whether professional education institutions, official license systems, professional associations and ethics code existed or not in relation to the profession. The results of the study showed that in Korea, the cook as a profession was being supported by such institutions, license systems, associations and ethics code as mentioned above. This indicates that in this nation, cooks already have been moderately professionalized.

The study carried out a survey with employees of hospitals located in Daejeon, Chungnam, and Chungbuk from Sep. 12 to Sep. 30, 2005 in order to derive primary elements that affect the improvement of hospital's competitiveness. The study investigated and analyzed the employees' recognition on the change of competitive environment caused by the change of medical environment. The study also analyzed the elements that affect the hospital's competitiveness and the competitive strategies of the hospitals. The conclusion of this study can be summarized as follows. 1. Summary 1) Most of the employees responded that there is a rival in the competitive environment and the competitive is intense. Especially when the employees are married, live in urban areas, have an education level of university graduate or are managers, they tend to think the competitive is very intense. Also, they said that the competitive is based upon the quality of medical service. They mentioned the element that has the biggest effect on the competitiveness is the element of medical consumer and they recognized that the medical services in university and general hospitals have more competitiveness than the one-department hospitals. 2) It was investigated that the medical technique service has the most effect on the hospital's competitiveness. Also, the external service of medical techniques also has a large effect on the hospital's competitiveness. 3) When they were asked for the factors that affect the patients' decision on selecting a hospital, most of them responded "capability and technique of the medical staffs." Also, they said that "sufficient explanation from doctors" and "special center and clinic" are the factors that have big effects on the patients' decision. 4) In the SWOT analysis, most of them responded that the strength is the hospital's characteristics and the weakness is insufficient and obsolete equipment. They said the opportunity is the demands for professional medical service and the risk is the intense competitive among the hospitals. 5) In the SWOT strategy, they emphasized the strategy that uses the opportunity and the strength and the strategy that uses the opportunity while overcoming the weakness. 6) As for the basic competition strategy, most of them thought of the strategy of professionalizing the medical service most importantly. Next, they focused on the strategy of distinct service and the strategy of lower prime cost. 2. Conclusion 1) Because service competition between hospitals is happening seriously, need competitiveness security through right awareness transfer and satisfaction upgrade about medical consumer. 2) For medical technique service upgrade that equip Hospital's competitiveness but affects most, must solidify the countermeasure because professionalizing the medical service and newest medical technique induction should be achieved first, and compose task force for the external service of medical techniques improvement. 3) To improve SWOT of hospital, opportunity and the strength strategy choice that rescue hospital's characteristics heightening professionalizing the medical service level is fancied. 4) As for the basic competition strategy, will have to try in phase triangular position of hospital which is trusted medical level upgrade and excellent manpower security and finance independence through upgrade. The study was only done with hospitals in Daejeon, Chungnam and Chungbuk. Also, it is a study from the side of suppliers of medical service so there are limitations. However, the significance of the study is to present the basic data for improvement of hospital's competitiveness by examining the importance of medical techniques and external service of medical techniques that are the main effects on the improvement of hospital's competitiveness.

Professionalizing the teaching workforce has been recognized as one of the primary factors to reforming public education. In response to this challenge, it has been emphasized that an educational leader's role is to support professional learning communities more effectively. Although the academia of educational administration has increasingly drawn the significance of a teacher's professional development, understanding of an educational leader's role and contribution to this effort is quite limited and unclear. This article examines what factors and barriers affect teachers' participation in professional learning communities from the voices and experiences of teachers. The analysis found 1) identification, 2) autonomous will, 3) practical solution for factors to participation and 1) lack of theoretical foundation, 2) financial burden, 3) insufficient time for barriers to participation. In conclusion, the author suggests the strategies for an educational leader who has an important role in developing a teacher's professionalism: 1) create a strong network of university professors and other experts for career advice, 2) make an institutional effort to stimulate teachers' motivation to learn; 3) decrease the teachers' workload, 4) build a synthesized and consolidated system to establish communities.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the difficulty of doing job among housing manager. It might be Provide the basic opinion which could be used for professionalizing of housing manager. The survey had been made 156 housing manager in managerial situation of multi-family housing for sale(so called condominium). The analytical methods adopted in this study were frequency, percentage, 1-test, one-way ANOVA, post-hoc estimation(Scheffe test), correlation by the SPSS 10.1 for Windows program. The major findings of this study were as follows. First, it was revealed that many housing manager thought about Residents' Committee In the negative. Because housing manager considered that Residents' Committee interfered in housing manager's business, on the other hand they set a low value on Residents' Committee disposition and its knowledge about housing management. Second, it was founded that a lot of housing manager felt uneasy about his employment for the reason mentioned. Actually Residents' Committee exercised its influence over hiring as well as dismissing housing manager in any management alternatives. Third, it was necessary that synthetic plan might be prepared for housing manager to educate, to re-educate, to furnish information etc. about related in housing management for the specialization of housing management.

Magazines in this 21st century which is most influenced by digital medium are in the middle position widely between traditional one; broadcastings & newspapers and new one; the mediums based on internet. Although most of the people said magazines were disappeared by growth of the digital technology, contrary to their expectations, magazines have more fixed position now by professionalizing itselves with more diverse themes. However, digital media such as Internet became a part of every day life that cannot be ignored, and digitalization of magazines was not an option but an indispensable stipulation. Especially, web version development of existing magazines is becomes an urgent issues. Therefore, the study of type of expression that can be used for existing publishers to keep their identity on digital medium is a necessary result. As the study which it sees regarding the notion and an intergral part of the Magazine Identity it leads, it materialize the construction phase of the Magazine Identity. With this categorization which will reach domestic, it compares and analyzes an outside instance, presently it constitute the expression type of a magazine that is published.

The purpose of this study was to general needs and identify the educational needs for teaching competency of home economics teachers. based on their perception on teaching competency revealed in Previous studies. Data were collected from 1,104 schools selected by stratified sampling. based on school district, ranking and size. The 616 items of survey materials were collected from 417 schools and the levels of importance and performance were measured on Likert scale with 7- and 5- points, respectively. The analysis reveled that the educational needs for improving teaching competency were high in the following three areas out of seven areas. 1) interfacing ability with the local community and diverse human resources. 2) ability managing space and materials for learning 3) ability diversifying lesson development and evaluation ability. In addition. diversifying and professionalizing present development program for home economics teachers made higher score than improving education program for home economics teachers. These two needs of teachers showed significant differences according to their educational experiences and foundation types of their schools.

The construction environment has the trend of oversizing and professionalizing, the increase of the construction period, and the risk factors and the uncertain factors which are important in the construction bid. The misunderstanding and the lack of knowledge of the subcontractor result in the decrease of the profit or the deficit. In conclusion, these are supposed to give the financial burden to the subcontractor. So, it is very important to predict the construction preparation cost calculation by the risk factors in the bidding stage and to calculate the bid unit cost considering the target profit of the subcontractor in the process of the mutual agreement and performance of the contract. In these points of view, this study analyzes how the importance of the risks influencing the bidding cost calculation affect the construction cost, and this analysis can be used as the basic data to establish the suitable bid strategy of the subcontractor.

Recently, because credit card crime using a personal credit information is increasing, professionalizing, and spreading the area, the loss occurring from credit card crime is enormous and is difficult to arrest and punish the criminals. At past, crime from forging and counterfeiting the credit card was originated by minority criminals, but at present, the types and appearance of credit card crime is very different to contrasting past crime. The numbers of people using credit card in the middle of 1990's was increasing and barometer of living conditions was evaluated by the number having credit card, therefore this bad phenomenon occurring from credit card crime was affected by abnormal consumption patterns. There is no need emphasizing the importance of personal credit card in this credit society. so, because credit card crime using personal credit card information has a bad effect, and brings the economic loss and harms to individuals, credit card company, and members joining credit card. Credit card crime using personal credit card information means the conduct using another people's credit card information(card number, expiring duration, secret number) that detected by unlawful means. And crime using dishonest means from another people's credit information is called a crime profiting money-making and a crime lending an illegal advance by making false documents. A findings on countermeasures of this study are as follows: Firstly, Diverting user's mind, improving the art of printing, and legitimating password from payment gateway was suggested. Secondly, Complementing input of password, disseminating the system of key-board protection, and promoting legitimations of immediate notification duty was suggested. Thirdly, Certificating the electronic certificates as a personal certificates, assuring the recognition by sense organ of organism, and lessening the ratio of crime occurrence, and restricting the ratio of the credit card crime was suggested.
