프랜차이즈 베이커리 전문점의 브랜드 풍문이 브랜드 태도와 브랜드 충성도에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Brand Hearsay of Franchised Bakery Stores on Brand Attitude and Brand Loyalty)

  • Purpose: Brand hearsay refers to information that can be acquired from advertisement, media publicity, and word-of-mouth prior to experiencing products or services of brands. Previous information about brands obtained through brand hearsay affects consumer behavior in choosing brands. Moreover, brand hearsay is an effective communication method in promoting brands to consumers. Thus, bakery franchises need to improve strengths and differentiate characteristics of their brand, thereby attracting more consumers. Therefore, this study investigates relationships the effect of brand hearsay on consumers' brand attitude and brand loyalty in the context of franchised bakery brands. Research design, data, and methodology: A research model was proposed to examine structural relationships between brand hearsay (advertising, publicity, word-of-mouth), brand attitude, and brand loyalty. An online survey was conducted to consumers who had an experience of visiting a franchise bakery. A total of 513 responses were used for data analysis. SPSS 22.0 was used for analyzing general demographics, and SmartPLS 4.0 was used to test validity and reliability of the proposed model. Result: Among attributes of brand hearsay, advertisement and word-of-mouth had positively significant effects on brand attitude, but no significant effect was found between publicity and attitude. Advertisement had a positively significant impact on brand loyalty, while publicity had a negative effect on brand loyalty opposite to hypothesis. Moreover, brand attitude had a statistically significant effect on brand loyalty. Conclusions: In the context of franchise bakeries, brand hearsay contents may change consumers' attitude toward brands but does not increase brand loyalty. Though media publicity does not affect consumers' attitude toward brands, it may decrease brand loyalty when consumers are too exposed to it. In addition, it is necessary to enhance brand attitude to increase brand loyalty of customers. This study provides bakery franchisors and franchisees information about which type of brand hearsay (e.g., advertisement, word-of-mouth, media, publicity) is effective in enhancing brand attitudes and loyalty of consumers. Further studies may include other variables (e.g., trust) in addition to attitude and loyalty, or compare findings based on brand characteristics (e.g., low-to-medium/high prices, store size).

  • 최근 4차 산업혁명으로 인하여, 고객 제품형 제품 설계 및 새로운 서비스 개발을 위하여 IoT 기술이 주목받고 있다. 최근 적층제조 기술은 IoT 센서를 직접 제작하거나, 센서를 포함한 기기를 만드는 분야에 다양하게 활용되고 있다. IoT 기기를 적층제조를 활용하여 제작시, 적층제조 고유의 설계 장점을 활용하기 위해 다양한 부품들을 병합하는 설계 방법론이 큰 관심을 받고 있다. 부품병합을 통해 조립 공정을 단축하고, 부품 경량화 등의 장점을 이룰 수 있기 때문이다. 따라서, 본 연구에서는 적층제조를 활용한 부품병합을 지원하기 위한 설계 방법론을 개발하였다. 이를 통해 제품의 기능 및 제품 내 부품의 기능과 물리적 연결성을 분석한 제품 아키텍쳐를 생성하고, 인접한 기능들 및 부품을 Girvan Newman 알고리즘을 활용하여, 최종 부품병합 후보군을 선정하도록 지원한다. 제안한 설계 방법론을 검증하고자 사례연구를 통해 적층제조로 출력된 전기 자전거의 부품병합과정을 분석하였다.

유통 한약재의 잔류농약 및 잔류이산화황의 함량 분석 (The analysis of Residual Pesticides and Sulfur Dioxide in Commercial Medicinal Plants)

  • Objectives : This study was investigated to determine the contents of pesticide residues and sulfur dioxide residues in commercial herbal medicines in Korea. Methods : Chromatographic test was performed on 100 samples consisted with 10 kinds of medicinal plants including improted and domestic products. To establish 19 pesticide residues (DDE, DDD, DDT, Dieldrin, Methoxychlor, BHC isomers, Aldrin, Endosulfan isomers, Endrin, Captan, Procymidone, Chlorpyrifos and Imidacloprid) in commercial herbal medicines, chromatographic equipments were used with the gas chromatography-mass detector and gas chromatography-electron capture detector for qualitative analysis. The imidacloprid analysis was performed by high performance liquid chromatograpgy-ultraviolet detector at 270 nm UV wavelength. The contents of sulfur dioxides were analyzed by modified Monnier-Williams method. All methods were based on notification procedure of Korea Food & Drug Administration (KFDA). Results : The residual pesticides were not founded in improted and domestic samples. Among 100 samples, the residues of sulfur dioxide in 73 samples were not detected and 25 samples showed contents in the range of 0~21.90 mg/kg. The excess samples of MRLs were 2 samples (30 mg/kg to medicinal herbs), Asiasari Radix et Rhizoma (Imported product) and the average amount of sulfur dioxide in 2 unsuitable samples were 14.83 mg/kg. These samples were found to transgress KFDA regulatory guidance of residual sulfur dioxide. Conclusion : These results are able to use as basic data to improve the reliability and value of commercial medicinal herbs.

CEO평판이 조직 호감도와 구매의도에 미치는 영향 연구 (A Study on the CEO Reputation on Organizational Favorability and Purchase Intention)

  • 기업을 대표하는 CEO의 역할과 효과가 점점 중요해지고 있으며, 유능한 CEO가 회사를 옮긴다거나 새로 영입되는 소식만으로 기업의 주가가 상승하기도 한다. 반대로 위법 행위나 비도덕적 언행을 보인 CEO로 인해 기업 전체에 악영향을 미치는 경우도 있다. 최근 국내 기업 상황은 오너(owner) 3세 혹은 4세 경영인 시대를 맞이하고 있어 기업의 최고경영인 즉 CEO의 평판 관리가 중요한 화두가 되었다. 본 연구는 CEO의 긍정적인 평판 관리를 위한 요인을 도출하고, 이들 평판 구성요인과 조직의 호감도 및 해당 기업의 제품에 대한 구매의도와의 관계를 살펴보았다. 연구결과, CEO 평판의 구성요인은 '신뢰성', '고객관리', '전략적 비전', '인사관리', '사회적 책임'이 도출되었고, CEO 평판이 조직 호감도와 구매의도에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 불확실성이 강화되고 있는 기업 환경에서 다양한 이해관계자들에게 좋은 평가를 받을 수 있는 방법 중 하나는 CEO에 대한 평판 관리 시스템이며, CEO 스스로도 본인의 평판이 조직에 영향을 미칠 수 있음을 인지하고 평판 관리에 신경 써야 한다.

신제품 개발을 위한 GAN 기반 생성모델 성능 비교 (Performance Comparisons of GAN-Based Generative Models for New Product Development)

  • 최근 빠른 유행의 변화 속에서 디자인의 변화는 패션기업의 매출에 큰 영향을 미치기 때문에 기업들은 신제품디자인 선택에 신중할 수밖에 없다. 최근 인공지능 분야의 발달에 따라 패션시장에서도 소비자들의 선호도를 높이기 위해 다양한 기계학습을 많이 활용하고 있다. 우리는 선호도와 같은 추상적인 개념을 수치화함으로써 신제품 개발에 신뢰성을 높이는 부분에 기여하고자 한다. 이를 위해 3가지 적대적 생성 신경망(Generative adversial netwrok, GAN)을 통하여 기존에 없는 새로운 이미지를 생성하고, 미리 훈련된 합성곱 신경망(Convolution neural networkm, CNN)을 이용하여 선호도라는 추상적인 개념을 수치화시켜 비교하였다. 심층 컨볼루션 적대적 생성 신경망(Deep convolutional generative adversial netwrok, DCGAN), 점진적 성장 적대적 생성 신경망(Progressive growing generative adversial netwrok, PGGAN), 이중 판별기 적대적 생성 신경망(Dual Discriminator generative adversial netwrok, D2GAN)의 3가지 방법을 통해 새로운 이미지를 생성하였고, 판매량이 높았던 제품으로 훈련된 합성곱 신경망으로 유사도를 비교, 측정하였다. 측정된 유사도의 정도를 선호도로 간주하였으며 실험 결과 D2GAN이 DCGAN, PGGAN에 비해 상대적으로 높은 유사도를 보여주었다.

코로나19 이후 애슬레저웨어의 구매 현황 및 온라인 쇼핑 시 불만족에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Purchase Status of Athleisure wear and Consumers' Dissatisfaction with Online Shopping Post-COVID-19)

  • This study analyzed the purchase status of athleisure wear and consumers' dissatisfaction with online shopping post-COVID-19. The target population comprised female consumers in their 20s to 50s who are interested in exercise and fashion. The study investigated differences according to age. It was found that athleisure wear was purchased once every two to three months and used as sportswear and/or daily wear. Purchase information was obtained via the Internet, and purchases were made online. Design, price, wear sensation, and textiles were the most important selection criteria, and T-shirts and leggings were the most frequently purchased garments. Additionally, textile characteristics such as moisture-absorbing and quick-drying as well as elasticity were evaluated as important. Online shopping of athleisure wear has increased since COVID-19 due to the time savings, low price, opportunity to compare several products, and delivery convenience. However, consumers were dissatisfied due to the differences between the screen image and the actual product, the inconvenience of returns, exchanges, and refunds, the lack of product information, product quality, and delivery. Furthermore, it was found that pursuing value of athleisure wear differed according to age. Consumers in their 20s and 30s required athleisure wear with the characteristics of sportswear and daily or urban wear and those in their 40s and 50s required garments with good performance as sportswear. Based on consumer feedback, it is necessary for manufacturers to provide product information that can improve product reliability.

A Disk-based Archival Storage System Using the EOS Erasure Coding Implementation for the ALICE Experiment at the CERN LHC

  • Korea Institute of Science and Technology Information (KISTI) is a Worldwide LHC Computing Grid (WLCG) Tier-1 center mandated to preserve raw data produced from A Large Ion Collider Experiment (ALICE) experiment using the world's largest particle accelerator, the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) at European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN). Physical medium used widely for long-term data preservation is tape, thanks to its reliability and least price per capacity compared to other media such as optical disk, hard disk, and solid-state disk. However, decreasing numbers of manufacturers for both tape drives and cartridges, and patent disputes among them escalated risk of market. As alternative to tape-based data preservation strategy, we proposed disk-only erasure-coded archival storage system, Custodial Disk Storage (CDS), powered by Exascale Open Storage (EOS), an open-source storage management software developed by CERN. CDS system consists of 18 high density Just-Bunch-Of-Disks (JBOD) enclosures attached to 9 servers through 12 Gbps Serial Attached SCSI (SAS) Host Bus Adapter (HBA) interfaces via multiple paths for redundancy and multiplexing. For data protection, we introduced Reed-Solomon (RS) (16, 4) Erasure Coding (EC) layout, where the number of data and parity blocks are 12 and 4 respectively, which gives the annual data loss probability equivalent to 5×10-14. In this paper, we discuss CDS system design based on JBOD products, performance limitations, and data protection strategy accommodating EOS EC implementation. We present CDS operations for ALICE experiment and long-term power consumption measurement.

How Korean Retailers Expand Private Label Markets Abroad: Evidence from the Chinese Fresh Food Market

  • Purpose - The increasing share of Korean private label products (PLPs) in the domestic market helped generate lucrative revenue. In recent years, major South Korean retailers have begun to cast their sights on overseas markets and actively export their PLPs. In China, the proportion of private label fresh food (PLFF) is gradually expanding amid the development of the new retailing model. A profound understanding of the relationship between private label fresh produce and purchase intention may be the answer to helping Chinese retailer private labels expand supply chains in Korea. This study, taking Chinese retailers as an example, examines the impacts of selection factors of private label fresh food and perceived value on purchase intention. Apart from that, the relationship between the selection factors and purchase intention will be analyzed with perceived value as a mediator. Design/methodology - This work aims to empirically analyze the purchase intention of private label fresh food using statistical analysis. In this study, a hypothetical causal model consisting of 6 latent variables and 24 measured variables is developed based on the literature review. To validate the research hypotheses and the research model, SPSS23.0/AMOS23.0 is used to analyze factors such as validity and reliability, as well as structural equation modeling. Findings - The hypothetical model established in this study is of general applicability. In respect to PLFF, perceived value, while significantly influencing purchase intention in combination with four selection factors (perceived quality, perceived price, brand trust, and store image), mediates partially between the first three factors and purchase intention, which rules out the impact and mediating effect of store image on purchase intention. Originality/value - These research results, as helpful insights into the present circumstances of Chinese PLFF in the domestic market, provide useful information and guidance for Korean retailers and service providers to innovate production and service, as well as develop marketing and promotion strategies, so that they can shift private label goods with advantages from domestic demand to export, thus increasing overseas profitability. Further, this work will also contribute to relevant research.

첨단 반도체 패키징을 위한 미세 피치 Cu Pillar Bump 연구 동향 (Recent Advances in Fine Pitch Cu Pillar Bumps for Advanced Semiconductor Packaging)

  • 최근, 고사양 컴퓨터, 모바일 제품의 수요가 증가하면서 반도체 패키지의 고집적화, 고밀도화가 요구된다. 따라서 많은 양의 데이터를 한 번에 전송하기 위해 범프 크기 및 피치 (Pitch)를 줄이고 I/O 밀도를 증가시킬 수 있는 플립 칩 (flip-chip), 구리 필러 (Cu pillar)와 같은 마이크로 범프 (Micro-bump)가 사용된다. 하지만 범프의 직경이 70 ㎛ 이하일 경우 솔더 (Solder) 내 금속간화합물 (Intermetallic compound, IMC)이 차지하는 부피 분율의 급격한 증가로 인해 취성이 증가하고, 전기적 특성이 감소하여 접합부 신뢰성을 악화시킨다. 따라서 이러한 점을 개선하기 위해 UBM (Under Bump Metallization) 또는 Cu pillar와 솔더 캡 사이에 diffusion barrier 역할을 하는 층을 삽입시키기도 한다. 본 review 논문에서는 추가적인 층 삽입을 통해 마이크로 범프의 과도한 IMC의 성장을 억제하여 접합부 특성을 향상시키기 위한 다양한 연구를 비교 분석하였다.

몰드 두께에 의한 팬 아웃 웨이퍼 레벨 패키지의 Warpage 분석 (Analysis of Warpage of Fan-out Wafer Level Package According to Molding Process Thickness)

  • Recently, fan out wafer level packaging, which enables high integration, miniaturization, and low cost, is being rapidly applied in the semiconductor industry. In particular, FOWLP is attracting attention in the mobile and Internet of Things fields, and is recognized as a core technology that will lead to technological advancements such as 5G, self-driving cars, and artificial intelligence in the future. However, as chip density and package size within the package increase, FOWLP warpage is emerging as a major problem. These problems have a direct impact on the reliability and electrical performance of semiconductor products, and in particular, cause defects such as vacuum leakage in the manufacturing process or lack of focus in the photolithography process, so technical demands for solving them are increasing. In this paper, warpage simulation according to the thickness of FOWLP material was performed using finite element analysis. The thickness range was based on the history of similar packages, and as a factor causing warpage, the curing temperature of the materials undergoing the curing process was applied and the difference in deformation due to the difference in thermal expansion coefficient between materials was used. At this time, the stacking order was reflected to reproduce warpage behavior similar to reality. After performing finite element analysis, the influence of each variable on causing warpage was defined, and based on this, it was confirmed that warpage was controlled as intended through design modifications.
