원자력발전 외부비용 연구들에 대한 검토 (Review on Studies for External Cost of Nuclear Power Generation)

  • 외부비용은 재화나 서비스가 생산 또는 소비되는 과정에서 제3자에게 부과되는 비용이다. 원자력 발전을 통한 전력생산에도 외부비용이 발생하며 이들에 대한 연구가 1990년대부터 진행되어 왔다. 비용은 정책결정에 중요한 요소로 전력 생산에 대한 비용 비교를 위해 외부비용이 고려되고 있다. 핵연료주기에서도 선택에 따라 다른 외부비용이 발생되지만 이에 대한 연구는 진행되고 있지 않다. 본 연구에서는 핵연료주기 외부비용 평가 방법 개발을 위해 원자력 발전에 대한 외부비용 평가방법을 조사하고 분석하였다. 후쿠시마 사고 이전에는 외부비용 연구들은 정상 운전 상태에서의 손상 비용에 초점을 두었다. 그러나 사고 이후 사고비용이 주요 주제가 되었다. 사고비용을 포함한 외부비용 범위는 여러 연구들에서 다양하게 사용되었으며 범위에 맞춰 다른 방법들이 적용되었다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 결과들이 비교되었으며 핵연료주기에 따른 외부비 용 추산에 방법적 적용성 판단을 위해 분석되었다.

조선산업의 비용분석 데이터 웨어하우스 시스템 개발 (Development of Data Warehouse Systems to Support Cost Analysis in the Ship Production)

  • Data Warehouses integrate data from multiple heterogeneous information sources and transform them into a multidimensional representation for decision support applications. Data warehousing has emerged as one of the most powerful tools in delivering information to users. Most previous researches have focused on marketing, customer service, financing, and insurance industry. Further, relatively less research has been done on data warehouse systems in the complex manufacturing industry such as ship production, which is characterized complex product structures and production processes. In the ship production, data warehouse systems is a requisite for effective cost analysis because collecting and analysis of diverse and large of cost-related(material/production cost, productivity) data in its operational systems, was becoming increasingly cumbersome and time consuming. This paper proposes architecture of the data warehouse systems to support cost analysis in the ship production. Also, in order to illustrate the usefulness of the proposed architecture, the prototype system is designed and implemented with the object of the enterprise of producing a large-scale ship.

  • Purpose - Total Quality Management (TQM) has received significant attention and interest from a large number of organizations around the world in various industries. These organizations have tried to embody TQM concepts in areas such as engineering and product design, marketing, R&D, procurement, production, personnel, and product inspection. Research design, data, and methodology - This study presents an overview of the fundamentals of TQM and an in depth review of the obstacles to the successful implementation of TQM. Results - In order to control the cost of manufacturing, the tracking of the cost of quality (COQ) allows companies to capture the actual overall cost incurred in producing a unit of product or service. The study explores the reasons why companies track the COQ and ways to address it. Conclusions - Based on the results, COQ is one of the key performance indicators for making more accurate strategic decisions as well as a critical aspect of TQM. The study also presents a few popular quality improvement tools that have been widely used in organizations successfully implementing TQM.

제조비용 증가에 대한 대응 전략으로서 제품 크기 축소와 가격 인상의 비교 연구 (Downsizing and Price Increases in Response to Increasing Input Cost)

  • We analyze a duopoly competition when two firms face input cost increases. The objective of this study is to determine the firms' optimal strategy between a price increase and downsizing under conditions of a spatially differentiated market and consumers' diminishing utility on the product size. We develop a theoretical model of two competing firms offering homogenous products using the standard Hotelling model to determine how firms' optimal strategies change when facing input cost increases. In this paper, there are two types of duopoly competitions: symmetric and asymmetric. In the symmetric case, the two firms have the same marginal cost and are producing and selling identical products. In the asymmetric case, the two firms have different marginal costs. The results show that the optimal strategy decision depends on the size of the input cost increase and the cost differences between the two firms. We find that when two firms are asymmetric (i.e., they have different marginal costs), the two firms might choose asymmetric pairs of strategies in equilibrium under certain conditions. When the cost differences between the two firms are sufficiently large and the cost increase is sufficiently small, the cost leader chooses price increase, and the cost-disadvantaged firm chooses downsizing in equilibrium. This asymmetric strategy reduces price competition between two firms, and consumers are better off. When the cost differences between the two firms are sufficiently large, downsizing is the dominant strategy for the cost-disadvantaged firm. The cost-disadvantaged firm finds it more profitable to reduce the product size than to increase its price to reduce price competition, because consumers prefer downsizing to price increases. This paper might be a good starting point for further analytical research in this area.

퇴화하는 기계에서의 품질 불량을 고려한 최적 생산시간 결정 (An Optimal Production Run Length in A Deteriorating Machine)

  • This paper presents on EMQ model which determines an optimal production run length in a deteriorating machine. It is assumed that a machine is subject to a random deterioration from an in-control state to an out-of-control state with on arbitrary distribution and thus producing some proportion of defective items. An optimal production run length and a minimum average cost are derived in each of three deteriorating processes; constant, linearly increasing, and exponentially increasing. The model with repair cost is also analyzed. Several mistakes in previous research are found and discussed. Numerical experiments are carried out to see the behavior of the proposed model depending on the cost factors as well as machine parameters, and some interesting behaviors are observed.

  • 재생에너지 3020 이행계획에 따라 재생에너지 발전 비중 증가에 대비해 잉여전력 저장 및 전력 공급 안정화 기술 필요성이 대두되고 있다. 이를 위해 수요 공급의 불균형으로 활용할 수 없는 전력을 수소 또는 메탄으로 전환하여 저장하는 Power-to-Gas 기술 개발이 활발히 진행되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 국내 실정을 반영한 Power-to-Gas 경제성분석을 수행하였다. 균등화 수소원가를 산정하기 위하여 Total revenue requirement 방법론을 활용하여 경제성 분석 방법론을 재정립하고, 국제에너지기구의 경제성 분석 결과를 통해 검증하였다. 연구결과 국내 기준 100 MW급 Power-to-Gas 시스템 균등화 수소원가는 kg당 8,344원으로 나타났다. 전기 비용, 수전해 장비 비용, 작동 연한에 따른 민감도 분석이 수행되었고, 재생에너지 이용 수소 생산비용과 천연가스 개질 수소 생산비용을 비교하여 경제성을 확보할 수 있는 조건을 제시하였다.

한국(韓國) 영화의상(映畵衣裳)의 변천(變遷)과 기능(機能)에 관(關)한 연구(硏究) (Research on Korean Movie Costume's Transition and Function)

  • The movie costume's function and the role can be defined by reflection of the society and the times, character portrayal, conveyance of image, and creation of fashion. Korean movie costumes have been differentiated from 1950s till 1990s in time period and the results of comparison between the times as follow : Movie and fashion hold same period in common so that sense of fashion is naturally contained in the movie costume. Therefore, excluding special movie that costumes are selected by designer, such kind of trend is notable in the times when costumes mostly selected by actors themselves. Most movie costumes are not designed after predicting up coming fashion by considering movie producing time so that notation between current fashion and fashion in the movie and mostly we see about one year behind fashion style. For FAD, fashion that quickly passes in each season can use costumes in fashion, considering movie producing time and time background, that it lack of trend of fashion in the movie. Korean movie industry lack of having perception of people who are in charge of taking care of movie so that costumes are not properly taken care of and uses only 5% of total movie producing cost. Such that kind having lack of preception and treatment of movie costumes can't expect development of movie costumes.

자동차용 시동 모터 정류자의 단조공정 개발에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Forging Process Development of the Commutator of an Automotive Starting Motor)

  • Commutators of a starting motor for automobiles has been produced through various processes such as forging, segmenting, and assembling. And the conventional method producing an automotive motor commutator is not appropriate for saving material and cost, because it makes each segment separated one by one. Therefore a new process design is required in oder to avoid the assembling process. In this study, a new process design of the commutator of an automotive starting motor has been carried out to save material and manufacturing time by FE analysis. In the FE analysis, three forging processes are proposed for producing the copper(ASTM Cl1000) commutators of a starting motor. And forging experiments are performed to make an unsegmented commutator in order to verify the theoretically proposed process. And then, in order to get the final product, the forged commutator is passed through various postprocessing such as resin terming, and machining. From the experimental result, the forging process proposed from the FE analysis is verified to be an economical method for producing the commutator of an automotive starting motor.

  • One of the major obstructing factors against managing dairy farm in Korea has been a shortage of roughage supply. The shortage of roughage caused excessive use of concentrate feed increase of production cost and deterioration of cattle quality. In order to solve this problem for the dairy farm, use of fallow paddy field in the winter was feasible to produce barley and rye forage during the winter season after harvesting of in. And many desirable effects of raising cattle productivity, saving dollars for importing feeds and providing huge ground for manure spreading are expected by enlarged local roughage production. Through analysing the forage producing process, a mechanized operation model was developed for dairy farms in Korea. Its model consists of seeding models(till, no-till model) and harvesting models(wrap silage, traditional silage, hay model). Currently, the government policies are being executed to urge producing winter cereal wrap silage in the fallow paddy field with various supporting programs. Ant with enlarged local forage production, it is possible to make a new huge market fur forage producing machine.

From the experimental result the forging process proposed from the FE analysis is verified to be an economical method for producing the commutator for an automotive fuel pump motor.
