  • Magnesium alloys are one of light weight material. Strength and stiffness of Magnesium alloys are enough to use for commercial product. Demand for strong, lightweight parts several computer and electronics have driven much of Magnesium injection molding's growth so far. And it is eighth most abundant resource on earth. In electronic device, electromagnetic interface and electrostatic discharge can affect performance. Magnesium injection molding is similar to normal plastic injection molding process. But some process condition is different. Especially injection speed and process temperature are so differs from other injection molding system. It just start for make something. But Magnesium injection molding is one of best alternate process for producing metal alloy part.

  • In general, the realization of high performance brushless permanent magnet motors which are widely used in servo drive is focused on the linear control for ripple-free torque. This is also the main problem that should be solved in all AC motors including induction motor to achieve high performance control, and recent papers deal with this problem. In this paper, the novel optimal excitation scheme of brushless permanent magnet motor producing loss-minimized ripple-free torque based on the d-q-0 reference frame is presented including 3 phase unbalanced condition. The optimized phase current waveforms that are obtained by the proposed method can be a reference values and the motor winding currents are forced to track it by delta modulation technique. As a results, it can be shown that the proposed work can minimize the torque ripple by the optimal excitation current for brushless permanent magnet motor with any arbitrary phase back EMF waveform. Simulation and experimental results prove the validity and practical applications of the proposed control scheme.

  • The variations of ozone concentration and the sensitivity test for VOC emission intensities was investigated by means of a PBM(Photochemical Box Model). Compared to monitoring data, the typical variations of $NO_2$, CO, $O_3$ for days were successfully reproduced. Model results revealed that maximum ozone concentration got increased with the increase of VOC emission, that is, VOC played the important role in producing the photochemical smog.

  • Piston slap is one of the sources producing engine block surface vibration and mechanical noise. To analyze piston slap-induced vibration, a realistic but simple model is proposed and verified experimentally. A piston is modeled by 3 degree of freedom system and an impact point between piston skirt and cylinder wall by 2 degree of freedom system. Numerical simulation estimates impact forces of piston in cylinder, and the engine block surface vibration response is predicted by the convoluton of the impact forces with measured impulse responses. Experimental verification on the predicted response has been also performed by using a commercial 4-cylinder diesel engine. the predicted and experimental vibration responses confirm that the suggested model is practically useful.

  • In this paper, we described the basic elements (relative flowing area ratio and funeling velocity ratio in mortar, flowability and self-compactibility in concrete, and etc.) required for the maximum mix design of the super flowing concrete (SFC) using manufactured sand. Also, manufactured sand and fly ash were used for investigating characteristics of SFC through various experiments (replacement ratio of manufactured sand, optimum mix condition) before producing the concrete in batch plant. As the result of this project, the SFC using manufactured sand up to 50% showed high flowability and self-compactibility in fresh concrete. Furthermore, its compressive strength is higher than normal concrete without manufactured sand. From now on, this study may suggest how to apply manufactured sand in the SFC.

  • Arrhythmia causes sudden cardiac death. In the past, there were medical limitations in finding the cause of arrhythmia. As an alternative solution for research of arrhythmia, there have been studies to find the causes of arrhythmia by producing a virtual heart model. Medically, arrhythmia has two main causes: abnormal occurrence of action potential and abnormal conduction of action potential. Based on these, the tachycardia, which is one of the arrhythmia, was manifested and the phenomenon of ventricular fibrillation was numerically analyzed in this study. For this purpose, an electrophysiological model of ventricular cells was implemented, which was subsequently applied to the reaction-diffusion partial differential equation to interpret the macroscopic conduction phenomenon in two-dimensional tissues. The ventricular fibrillation refers to a condition where several irregular waves occur in cardiac tissue, whose generation mechanism is pathologically related to the cardiac tissue.

  • This essay examines Jacques Callot's Les Grandes Mis$\grave{e}$res et Malheurs de la Guerre (1633) as a moral meditation on war as catastrophe. It also uses Callot's Miseries to reflect on the nature of catastrophe as such, particularly as "An event producing a subversion of the order or system of things." As such, catastrophe refers less to nature or the natural gone awry, than it does to the abnegation or suspension of moral aspects of human nature. More than a reflection on war as catastrophe, and catastrophe as fundamentally moral, Callot's Miseries are a timeless meditation on aspects of the human condition; or on human beings in what amounts to state of nature-as evidenced in times of disaster. Such reflection, again, does not by itself imply that all war-even when catastrophic-is unnecessary, let alone necessarily unjust. But it does suggest that artistic engagement with war understood as catastrophic, may yield insights into human nature that are as important to human self-understanding as those represented in artistic subject matter that is more quotidian.

  • Despite growing interest in Ge as a possible alternative to Si, reliable data on Ge surface has been relatively scarce. Using low temperature scanning tunneling microscopy (STM), we investigate band-bending effects of localized charge traps at Ge(001) surface at 78 K. For this investigation, we prepared nearly defect-free Ge(001) surface by keeping the background pressure to < $1{\times}10^{-10}$ mbar during outgassing. Ge(001) surfaces this obtained exhibit a flat-band condition, and deposition of charge traps induce a distinct, sharp boundary between pinned and depinned surface area in the constant current mode STM images. We will show the tip-surface interaction plays an essential role in producing the boundary, and discuss about the conditions that enable the pinning effect.

  • BIPV(Building Integrated PV) system can expect dual effects that reduce expenses for establishment of PV system by adding new function as outer covering material of building expect producing the electricity. But, there are many generation differences according to the exterior environmental facts(solar cell array, design and installation condition of interactive inverter system) Therefore, it is difficult to optimum design. Consequently in advance design system, we experiment 3kW BIPV(Building Integrated PV) generation. We concrete PV system efficient application of variable. BIPV system that is proposed in this paper, was established in Solar Energy research center of Chosun University, composed with system. This research is a basic study for application of building integrated photovoltaic system for building
