An Integrated Agent Control System Based on Virtual Reality and Mobile Environment (가상현실과 모바일 환경 기반의 통합 에이전트 제어 시스템)

  • Recently, there are lots of concerning on the control of multi-agent control system and mixed reality integrating real and virtual environments. In this paper, an integrated agent control system based on mixed reality and mobile environment is proposed. The system consists of a manager, agents, a mapping module, a geographic information module, a WAP server, and a mobile manager. The manager has Hybrid Device Manager(HDM) working for revising images and position data of the agents to display that at the 3D virtual and mobile environments respectively. Especially, the images of the agent is translated to LBM format and displayed on the mobile phone, and the current position of the agent is displayed on the display screen, so that a user are able to control the agent when he is moving. Experimental results shows the proposed system lets us control the agents conveniently at a computer and a mobile phone.

  • In this paper, the multiple micro robot soccer playing system is introduced at first. Learning and evolving in artificial agents is a difficult problem, but on the other hand a challenging task. In our laboratory, this soccer studies mainly centered on single agent learning problem. The construction of such experimental system has involved lots of kinds of challenges such as robot designing, vision processing, motion controlling. At last we will give some results showing that the proposed approach is feasible to guide the design of common agents system.

  • This paper proposed a system collecting image information by agents in multi-threaded environment and then retrieving them with content based image retrieval. This system uses multi threads to retrieve web information effectively, then improves efficiency of CPU cycles to reduce latency time, which is the time requesting queries, executing communication processing 4hat the retrieval agents perform and filtering the retrieval results. Also, the agents for image retrieval use Java language, which is platform independent, to be suitable for distributed environment. Using JDBC to save the retrieved images, the agents are connected to database. The images themselves are stored in distributed agents' databases, and only the image indexes are stored in an index server so that the efficiency of storage and retrieval time can be improved.

  • Multi-agent system fits to the distributed and open internet environments. In a multi-agent system, agents must cooperate with each other through a coordination procedure, when the conflicts between agents arise. Where those are caused by the point that each action acts for a purpose separately without coordination. But previous researches for coordination methods in multi-agent system have a deficiency that they cannot solve correctly the cooperation problem between agents, which have different goals in dynamic environment. In this paper, we suggest the automatic coordination model for multi-agent system using neural network and reinforcement learning in dynamic environment. We have competitive experiment between multi-agents that have complexity environment and diverse activity. And we analysis and evaluate effect of activity of multi-agents. The results show that the proposed method is proper.

  • The provision of location tracking for mobile agents is designed to deliver a message to a moving object in a network. Most tracking methods exploit relay stations that hold location information to forward messages to a target mobile agent. In this paper, we propose an efficient location tracking method for mobile agents using the domain-based proxy as a relay station. Mobile agents can reduce the length of their migration paths by visiting hosts in the same domain first, rather than selecting hosts randomly. The proposed method exploits the domain-based moving patterns of mobile agents and minimizes registration and message delivery costs. Since the long proxy chain can contribute to the high message delivery cost, we also propose a compressing method to reduce the message delivery cost.

  • In waste lithium iron phosphate (LFP) batteries, the cathode material contains approximately 4% lithium. Recycling the constituent elements of batteries is important for resource circulation and for mitigating the environmental pollution. Li contained in the waste LFP cathode powder was selectively leached using persulfate-based oxidizing agents, such as sodium persulfate, potassium persulfate, and ammonium persulfate. Leaching efficiency and waste LFP powder properties were compared and analyzed. Pulp density was used as a variable during leaching, which was performed for 3 h under each condition. The leaching efficiency was calculated using the inductively coupled plasma (ICP) analysis of the leachate. All types of persulfate-based oxidizing agents used in this study showed a Li leaching efficiency over 92%. In particular, when leaching was performed using (NH4)2S2O8, the highest Li leaching percentage of 93.3% was observed, under the conditions of 50 g/L pulp density and an oxidizing agent concentration of 1.1 molar ratio.

  • Our paper proposes an agent based automated negotiation model. The agents can perform an integrative negotiation with multi-issue in a one-to-many way. The negotiation protocol follows the offer-counteroffer principal, and an adapted offer generation strategy. With the utility theory, agent could evaluate the offers and determine the following actions. In order to yield a top-quality deal and shorten the negotiation period, agents propose multiple offers, which consist of a particular combination of issue values and lave the identical utility with the given utility. The experiment shows that the model ensures the participants could reach a better agreement in a short time.

  • Fabrics for Digital Textile Printing (DTP) are different from it of general textile printing. It is necessary to pre-treatment of chemical agents for desired quality. But this process does not correspond with simplification of DTP processing. In this research, we pre-treated of cotto is necessary to pre-treatment of chemical agents for desired quality. But this process does not correspond with simplification of DTP processing. In this research, we pre-treated of cotton fabric for DTP by atmosphere plasma treatment and we understood that pre-treatment of fabric by atmosphere plasma treatment was more simple DTP process.

  • In this paper, we describe the design and implementation of the FDRA(Fault Detection Recovery based on Agent) running on distributed multimedia environment. DOORAE is a good example for distributed multimedia and multimedia distance education system among students and teachers during lecture. It has primitive service agents. Service functions are implemented with objected oriented concept. FDRA is a multi-agent system. It has been environment, intelligent agents interact with each other, either collaboratively or non-collaboratively, to achieve their goals. The main idea is to detect an error by using polling method. This system detects an error by polling periodically the process with relation to session. And, it is to classify the type of error s automatically by using learning rules. The merit of this system is to use the same method to recovery it as it creates a session. FDRA is a system that is able to detect an error, to classify an error type, and to recover automatically a software error based on distributed multimedia environment.
