  • Since conventional analysis of LLC resonant converter has a limit to explain a practical operation of LLC Resonant Converter, LLC resonant converter designed by conventional analysis can not regulate output voltage in several conditions. To solve this problem, analysis and design of LLC resonant converter including parasitic components is proposed. Experimental results are shown to confirm the feasibility of the proposed method.

  • In general, simple correspondence analysis has handled mainly correspondence relations between the row and column categories but can not display the trends of their change over the time. For solving this problem, we will propose DSCA(Dynamic Simple Correspondence Analysis) of transition matrix data using supplementary categories in this study, Moreover, DSCA provides its trend of the change for the future by predicting and displaying trend toward the change from a standard point of time to the next.

  • Operational Modal Analysis also known as Ambient Modal Analysis has an increasing interest in mechanical cngineering. Especially on big structures where the excitation and not less important the determination of the forces is most often a problem. In a structure like a wind turbine wing where the modes occur both close in frequency and bi-directional the Ambient excitation has big advantages. (omitted)

  • The vibration of the dehydration process in a washing machine is important problem that affects the performance of products. In this paper, the upper structure of a washing machine is modeled as rigid body suspension system and, by numerical analysis, the amplitude of a spin basket and the transfer moment at a base plate are calculated. To examine the vibrational characteristics according to design variable change, the friction coefficient in anubber, the radius of curvature, the stiffness coefficient, initial length and locations of support springs are considered in the analysis. Experimental results are compared with those of analysis.

  • A new torsional analysis method for multiple cell box based on the Softened Truss Model Theory was developed. This softened truss model unifies shear and torsion to address the problem associated with a torque applied on a box. The model should be very useful for the analysis of a reinforced concrete box under torque, especially for the bridge superstructure with multiple cell box sections.

  • A novel boundary stress resolution method is suggested in this paper, which is based upon the displacements of finite element analysis and of high precision with stress boundary condition strictly satisfied. The method is used to modify the Zienkiewicz-Zhu ($Z^2$) a posteriori error estimator and for the h-version adaptive finite element analysis of crack problems. Successful results are obtained.

  • Identifying the stability of rotor systems is prerequisite for clear determination of the parameter identification and safety, through which operating conditions may be rationally ascertained. For this purpose, the complex modal analysis of periodically time-varying system has been introduced by transforming the relation between periodic eigen-vectors and the corresponding adjoint vectors into the latent value problem. Stability investigation associated with modal features for rotor systems is performed using numerical simulation based upon the analysis model.

  • The purpose of this study is to develop a method of applying response surface analysis to trade-off techniques for the conceptual design of armored vehicle. The problem areas of concern are the use of this method in the selection of optimum design points when user requirements are in conflict. The application of this method to trade-offs of performance parameters in terms of weight are presented.

  • Fatigue strength analysis is one of the most important themes of ship structure design, as fatigue damages are reported on ship structures even now. But these need basic research workes which will take time. The others are the problem to apply fatigue strength analysis in design and have to be investigated in parallel with basic researches. The one of major items in the latter is the critical damage factor to define with S-N curve for fatigue strength analysis of ship structure design.

  • The purposes of this study are to analyze elementary school student's intuitive thinking in the process of mathematical problem solving and to analyze elementary school student's errors of intuitive thinking in the process of mathematical problem solving. According to these purposes, the research questions can be set up as followings. (1) How is the state of illumination of the elementary school student's intuitive thinking in the process of mathematical problem solving? (2) What are origins of errors by elementary school student's intuitive thinking in the process of mathematical problem solving? In this study, Bogdan & Biklen's qualitative research method were used. The subjects in this study were 4 students who were attending the elementary school. The data in this study were 'Intuitine Thinking Test', records of observation and interview. In the interview, the discourses were recorded by sound and video recording. These were later transcribed and analyzed in detail. The findings of this study were as follows: First, If Elementary school student Knows the algorithm of problem, they rely on solving by algorithm rather than solving by intuitive thinking. Second, their problem solving ability by intuitive model are low. What is more they solve the problem by Intuitive model, their Self- Evidence is low. Third, in the process of solving the problem, intuitive thinking can complement logical thinking. Last, in the concept of probability and problem of probability, they are led into cognitive conflict cause of subjective interpretation.
