무선인지(cognitive radio) 시스템은 특정 대역에 면허권을 갖는 주사용자(primary user)의 유휴 스펙트럼을 부사용자(secondary user)가 기회적으로 사용하는 것을 허용하는 것으로 주파수 부족 문제의 해결책으로 부각되고 있다. 특히, 스펙트럼 센싱(spectrum sensing) 기술은 특정 스펙트럼을 사용하고자 하는 부사용자가 주변에서 해당 스펙트럼을 사용 중인 주사용자를 검출하는 것으로 무선인지 시스템의 핵심을 이룬다. 기존의 스펙트럼 센싱 기술은 부사용자가 주사용자 송신기를 센싱하지만 부사용자가 주사용자 수신기를 센싱할 수 있다면 주사용자에 미치는 간섭을 최소화하고 스펙트럼 사용 효율을 최대화할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 수신기 중심(receiver-centric) 스펙트럼 센싱 기술을 제안하고 성능 분석을 통해 기존의 송신기 중심스펙트럼 센싱 기술에 비해 주파수 효율 측면에서 성능 개선이 있음을 검증한다.

This paper surveys and researches primary school students' situation of their school life. The purpose of this paper is to propose the basic information of the accident prevention teaching and the safety management in order to avoid accidents to occur beforehand. We selected m primary students out of the six primary schools in Taebaek City at which the nursing students of Kangwon Tourism College practiced school health. We used SPSS Win for analyzing data. We carne up with the general characteristics and percentage using frequency analysis, mean and standard deviation of each item, the mean difference using T-Test, and the different factors using one-way analysis. The results are as follows: 1. The 6th grade students don't practice safety procedures than the 5th grade students during outside the school. The older the student is, the less it practices safety procedures. 2. Boys practice safety procedures better than the girls during inside and outside the school. 3. Hot -tempered students don't practice safety procedures properly. 4. Most of the students who often use the health room of the school have high scores in safety procedures test and as a result, these students practice safety procedures thoroughly. 5. The grade of safety living activity is the highest during gymnastic class. Next is when the students use the stairs when they are going up and clown. Then, the use of science room In the playground is the lowest grade of safety for living activity.

Purpose: This study was done to discover the contents needed for a sexual education program in the lower grades (the first to the third grade) by primary school teachers and to discover difficulties in confronting sexual education. Method: This was a descriptive study of 198 teachers for lower grade students in 15 primary schools. A questionnaire on sexual education was distributed and collected by mail. Result: The contents for sexual education that teachers felt were highly needed are as follows: sanitation of genitals, sexual violence, pregnancy & childbirth, family, selfassertion, and sexual self-determination. Teachers think prevention of sexual violence is the main reason for sexual education. Teachers indicated that sexual education considering the developmental stage was difficult. Conclusion: Development of a sexual education curriculum for lower grade primary school students is necessary for increasing the problem-solving ability of students focused on sexual violence, self-assertion and sexual self-determination, in addition to providing simple information.

This paper reports a cognitive radio network architecture based on overloaded multicarrier direct sequence code division multiple access (O-MC-DS-CDMA). The O-MC-DSCDMA technique combines CDMA with a multicarrier modulation technique to overcome the channel fading effects. In this technique, secondary users are enabled to share the available bandwidth with the existing primary users. Two sets of orthogonal Gold codes are used to support the primary and secondary users simultaneously. The orthogonality between the spreading codes is lost due to the non-zero cross correlation between the codes and the timing synchronization error in the uplink transmission, which causes interference between primary and secondary users. This paper proposes two modified hybrid parallel/successive interference cancellation techniques for primary and secondary user base station receivers with multiple antennas to suppress the interference among users. Interference among the same group of users is cancelled by parallel interference cancellation and the interference among groups is cancelled using successive interference cancellation. The simulation results confirmed that the proposed modified interference cancellation techniques show better BER performance over conventional interference cancellation techniques.

Primary cutaneous mucinous carcinoma (PCMC) is a rare malignant tumor of eccrine origin. Clinically, the carcinoma presents as a solitary, slow growing, and painless nodule. For this reason, this tumor is often considered to be a benign mass in the preoperative setting. The lesion is, however, malignant in nature and has a tendency for local recurrence and infrequent metastasis. Wide local excision is the treatment of choice. However, few reports exist with information regarding surgical margins and clinical outcomes. Herein, we report a case of PCMC excised with a narrow surgical margin and review the relevant literature. A 49-year-old man presented with a small cutaneous nodule of the right cheek. The mass was excised without any margin, but pathologic examination revealed histology of mucinous carcinoma. Because of this, the operative site was re-excised with a 5-mm margin, and the wound was closed using a V-Y advancement flap. Systemic work-up did not reveal other potential metastatic primary, for a final diagnosis of PCMC. We report this case of PCMC, treated with relatively narrow margin in a patient with good prognostic factors.

본 논문에서는 인지 무선 시스템에서의 새로운 프레임 길이 제어 방법을 제안한다. 제안된 방법에서는 유휴 기간 동안 시간이 지남에 따라 일차 사용자 패킷이 도착할 확률이 지속적으로 증가하는 특성을 이용한다. 증가하는 일차 사용자 패킷 도착확률에 따라 이차 사용자의 프레임 길이를 줄이면, 스펙트럼 센싱은 시간이 지남에 따라 더 자주 실행되며 일차 사용자의 도착 유무는 더욱 빠르게 검출될 수 있다. 간섭 제한량을 만족시키는 조건 하에 이차 사용자의 전송률을 극대화하는 최적의 프레임 길이를 구한다. 또한, 이러한 프레임 길이 제어 방법을 사용하였을 때의 상당량의 전송률 향상이 있음을 보인다.

To investigate the association between salt processed food and gastric cancer, a hospital based case-control study was conducted in a high risk area of China. One hundred and seven newly diagnosed cases with histological confirmation of gastric cancer and 209 controls were recruited. Information on dietary intake was collected with a validated food frequency questionnaire. Unconditional logistic regression was applied to estimate the odds ratios with adjustment for other potential confounders. Comparing the high intake group with never consumption of salt processed foods, salted meat, pickled vegetables and preserved vegetables were significantly associated with increased risk of gastric cancer. Meanwhile, salt taste preference in diet showed a dose-response relationship with gastric cancer. Our results suggest that consumption of salted meat, pickled and preserved vegetables, are positively associated with gastric cancer. Reduction of salt and salt processed food in diets might be one practical measure to preventing gastric cancer.

Abalone immortal cell lines can be used to study the physiological properties and disease mechanisms of abalone at the cellular and molecular level. As a first step for the final goal to establish abalone immortal cell lines, we examined various initial culture conditions for primary cell populations derived from Haliotis discus hannai radula tissue. The survival rate after cell isolation procedures using the enzymatic method was as low as $9.95{\pm}2.37%$. Based on three different experimental conditions for H. discus hannai radula-derived cell culture, we found that the salinity of the media and the presence of growth-promoting factors were important to support radula-derived primary cell populations during the initial culture. The growth factor-containing media adjusted to 35 psu salinity could induce 100% (8 out of 8 trials) initial cell attachment, and the rate of cell attachment reached 50-70%. The data obtained from this study will provide useful information for developing immortal cell lines from abalone species.

Seismic qualification of equipment including piping is performed by using floor response spectra (FRS) or in-structure response spectra (ISRS) as the earthquake input at the base of the equipment. The amplitude of the FRS may be noticeably reduced when obtained from coupling analysis because of interaction between the primary structure and the equipment. This paper introduces a method using a modal synthesis approach to generate the FRS in a coupled primary-secondary system that can avoid numerical instabilities or inaccuracies. The FRS were generated by considering the dynamic interaction that can occur at the interface between the supporting structure and the equipment. This study performed a numerical example analysis using a typical nuclear structure to investigate the coupling effect when generating the FRS. The study results show that the coupling analysis dominantly reduces the FRS and yields rational results. The modal synthesis approach is very practical to implement because it requires information on only a small number of dynamic characteristics of the primary and the secondary systems such as frequencies, modal participation factors, and mode shape ordinates at the locations where the FRS needs to be generated.

화학공정 변수간의 관계를 표현하는 방법으로, 지식기반 접근법을 이용하여 부호유향그래프(signed directed graph, SDG)를 자동합성하였다. SDG의 자동합성은 지식베이스를 이용한 추론과정 및 Loop 검증의 두 단계를 거쳐 수행된다. 먼저, 공정내 장치를 중심으로 장치간의 결합관계를 Topology로 표현하고, Topology 정보를 이용한 공정 변수관계 표현 및 지식베이스의 공정경향 데이타를 문자 패턴 매칭하여 Primary-SDG를 자동으로 합성한다. 생성된 Primary-SDG를 Loop 검증기의 추론을 통하여 검증, 수정하여 SDG를 자동합성하였다.
