Cyber learning goes up in the quantity of educational contents as informational technology develops in Korea. However some research for the structure of the contents has not been tried to examine its quality. Therefore this research analyzed the most popular cyber learning contents in Korea. They were characterized as "presentational contents". The main research methods are survey and execution of the presentational contents. For the survey, 100 trainee teachers were interviewed. The result of survey is that presentational contents are close to both the tutorial contents type and drill and practice type. On the other hand it is revealed that the response for simulation and game contents type is very rare. The result of the execution for presentation contents recorded high level for frequency of presentation and motivation. To solve these problems, the approach for developing presentational contents should select an appropriate curriculum for cyber learning system and incorporate effective teaching presentation with technology.

A letter of credit transaction of the preexistence have been raising one's head fraud charge problem as a result of abusing the principles of independence and abstraction. Every society has certain rules and conventions which it regards as important and most of people in any society. The paper document means a document in a traditional paper form. The eUCP credit must specify the formats in which electronic records are to be presented. In these present times, the issuance of documentary credit are performed by the SWIFT(Society for Worldwide Inter bank Financial Telecommunication) system. The eUCP have been written to allow for presentation completely electronically or for a mixture of paper documents and electronic presentation. Presentation is deemed not to have been made if the Beneficiary's notice is not received. An electronic record that cannot be authenticated is deemed not to have been presented. The e-UCP is the supplement of current existing UCP but is superior to UCP under some circumstances. The document shall include an electronic record. The place for presentation of electronic records means an electronic address. The current e-UCP is not clear on this matter. We have to note followings in case of presenting the documents electronically and applying the e-UCP. There are three principles in the letter of credit transaction, that is to say, independence and abstraction, document dealing, strict compliance. IN the electronic letter of credit, these principles are called as independence and abstraction, electronic document dealing, strict compliance.

Neurolymphomatosis (NL) is defined as the involvement of the peripheral nervous system in lymphocytic invasion. It is a very rare form of lymphoma that may occur as an initial presentation or recurrence. It affects various peripheral nervous structures and can therefore mimic disc-related nerve root pathology or compressive mononeuropathy. NL often occurs in malignant B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphomas. Notwithstanding its aggressiveness or intractability, NL should be discriminated from other neurologic complications of lymphoma. Herein, we present a case of primary NL as the initial presentation of diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) of the sciatic nerve. The patient presented with weakness and pain in his left leg but had no obvious lesion explaining the neurologic deficit on initial lumbosacral and knee magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). NL of the left sciatic nerve at the greater sciatic foramen was diagnosed based on subsequent hip MRI, electrodiagnostic test, positron emission tomography/computed tomography, and nerve biopsy findings. Leg weakness slightly improved after chemotherapy and radiotherapy. We report a case wherein NL, a rare cause of leg weakness, manifested as the initial presentation of primary DLBCL involving the sciatic nerve at the greater sciatic foramen.

In this paper, we describe the approaches of shopping agents and directory services for online comparison shopping on the web, and propose an information indexing and retrieval system, named InfoEye, with a new method for automatic extraction of product information. The developed method is based on the knowledge about presentation of the product information on the Web. The method from the knowledge about presentation of the product information is derived from both the point that online stores display their products to customers in easy-to-browse ways and heuristics made of analyses of product information look-and-feel of domestic online stores. In indexing process, the method is applied to product information extraction from Hypertext Markup Language (HTML) documents collected by a mirroring robot from online stores. We have made InfoEye to a readily usable stage and transferred the technology to Webnara commercial shopping engine. The proposed system is a cutting-edge solution to help customers as a shopping expert by providing information about the reasonable price of a product from dozens of online stores, saving customers shopping time, giving information about new products, and comparing quality factors of products in a same category.

Recently, QoS/QoE technology as a part of the HTTP-based adaptive streaming technology has attracted attention. In this paper, we find out HTTP-based adaptive and dynamic streaming technology. It is based on a dynamic adaptive streaming system over HTTP, which is designed and implemented. The system consist of conversion by the bit rate of MPEG2-TS files, division of segment, creation of MPD(Media Presentation Description) and bitrate's player through analysis of MPD File between servers and clients in network environments of dynamic and adaptive. This diverse network environments, continuous and smooth playback of video will be used in various multimedia fields.

Presentation with a projector and a laser pointer is widely used in seminar or conference. The function of a laser pointer in the presentation is just indicating a certain object. In this paper, to give a mouse-like function to a laser pointer, we implement a system that locates the track of a laser pointer. The system contains a FPGA that implements camera interface and noise filter. A software for ARM processor is programmed to analyze the spectrum of the captured image and track the pattern of a laser pointer with previously stored image. As a result, the tracking system could locate the position correctly most of time within 20m with 98% accuracy.

This paper presents an authoring system for users to create and edit multimedia documents more easily. Our system supports dynamic authoring to feedback the inconsistency that could be occurred when users authorize and flexible media synchronization. For these, we define a new time relation based on causal relation and provide an internal representation using trees and structured document parsing. The system consists of the components such as visual interface, parsing, and presentation engine. It has been implemented on Microsoft Windows 95 with Visual C++.

Energy Technology Perspectives (ETP) has provided the current status of energy system, technology developments and external events that have changed ETP scenario since 2006. The three scenarios are presented in four different fields (power generation, transport, industry, building). Energy efficiency improvement of energy system and the new system that can solve the increasing energy demand and the emissions are introduced. The activities on IEA/ECERC delegation of Korea will be also reported in this presentation.

Method for synchronizing multimedia data is needed to support continuous transmission of multimedia data through a network in a bounded time and it also required for supporting continuous presentation of multimedia data with the required norminal playout rate in distributed network environments. This paper describes a new synchronization method for supporting delay-sensitive multimedia Presentation without degration of Quality of services of multimedia application. It mainly aims to support both intermedia and intermedia synchronization by absorbing network variations which may cause skew or jitter. In order to remove asynchonization problems, we make use of logical time system, dynamic buffer control method, and adjusting synchronization intervals based on the quality of services of a multimedia. It might be more suitable for working on distribute[1 multimedia systems where the network delay variation is changed from time to time and no global clock is supported. And it also can effectively reduce the amount of buffer requirements needed for transfering multimedia data between source and destination system by adjusting synchronization intervals with acceptable packet delay limits and packet loss rates.

Tan-Sui River Basin covers Taipei metropolitan area of 2,726 square kilometers with more than six million residents. Since 1988, Taiwan government started to plan and construct an integrated sewerage system, consisted by both separated and concentrated trunk sewers, wastewater treatment plants and ocean outfalls. This presentation will introduce the master plan and major facilities of Tan-Sui River Basin sewerage system. Other measures to protect general water quality and the environment of adjacent river basin area of Tan-Sui River and her tributaries by Taiwan EPA will be presented as well.
