Menu-driven interfaces are frequently employed for user -system interfaces on many electronic products. Due to the space and budget constraint, a single or multi-line display is used to show menu items. Single or Multi-line display present 8 .approx. 21 characters on an LCD screen and users select items using a series of button pushes. Multi-line displays are different from the single-line ones in the following aspects. First, they can present multiple menu items at the same time. Second, they can present menu items in a various way, for example, same-depth presentation, sub-depth presentation, previous selection, etc. In this study, a human factors experiment is being conducted to examine the effects of three independent variables on the design of a multi-line display. Factors investigated include menu structure, number of lines on the display, item presentation methodl. Usability of the multi-line display is being measured quantitatively in terms of four different aspects: task completion time, accuracy, inefficiency, user preference. A set of design guidelines will be drawn from this study which can be applied to usef-system interfaces of a various types of consumer products.

'Health' trend like the latest fashion that spread to present society that elevate a lot of interests in qualitative elevation of life by rapid economic growth did to derive vocabulary called 'well-being' over all field. More and more comprehensive new type word 'LOHAS' appear to this. I wish to present basic data that need in study of healthy eco dwelling through making comparative study of existing study, literature analysis, and application type and planning elements etc of healthy dwelling. This study is preceded in following steps and contents. First, make conceptional definition for similarity words regarding healthy eco dwelling through existing study and internet search data etc, and analysis comprehensive meaning of 'Health' and 'Healthy Dwelling'. Second, I have done arrangement examination synthetically about healthy eco dwelling, wellbeing house, and ubiquitous future dwelling by paradigm of spread healthy dwelling. Third, examine application type of healthy dwelling that appear present and arrange analyzing planning elements is applied in the types.

The change of digital technology caused not only the whole human life but also the change of a thinking form and an expression method of human beings. Also, the interactive communication structure became to form in space structure, and space users also get changed to an active system. The interaction between a human being and space, which uses digital media as a medium, makes a human being experience sensitivity through a cognitive process of a human being. The present research aimed to find out characteristics and expression of emotional space applied with digital technology based on the relationship between media space and cognitive functioning and to realize new emotional space. The research method was to define on digital media and experience by cognition of a human being through a literature research and a precedent research and to consider on approach to emotional space through experience of a cognition process like this. Based on the theory like this, the present research progressed by focusing on dramatized characteristics of experience in the digital media space and emotional space expression by induced characteristics. Through the analysis like this, the space applied with digital media could appear as a field of communication that can experience by forming mutual relation through perception of a human being. Additionally, the space induces active participation of a human being through various productions of media and responds to movement, and thus, this suggested infinite possibility as emotional space that can try new experience by stimulating a sense as effect of a cognitive process of a human being.

What prevails in the today's research on social media is a functional view of technology. Technology is regarded as a set of technical devices used to conduct specific social functions, such as personal communication, social networking, public posting, and corporate advertising, among others. This paper proposes that such a functional view of technology renders social media research unduly limited and constrained in its scope, level, and direction of inquiry. Problematizing on some representative social media research efforts in the field of IS, this paper provides an alternative perspective, that is, to view social media as a technology-for-being that exerts a deeper level of influence on our existence, molding and shaping the nature and mode of being itself. Such a technology-for-being perspective has been rarely explored or subscribed to in the present IS social media research. Building upon the new conception of social media as a technology-for-being, this essay explores the quality of being in the context of social media. Five such qualities are discussed, including virtuality, materiality, externality, liquidity, and hybridity. The essay also explores the deep structural problems of research to guide future social media research. Six of such problems include Problematize-the-Natural, Follow-the-Actor, Welcome-the-Frankenstein, Weber-meets-Frankenstein, Freud-meets-Frankenstein, and Marx-meets-Frankenstein. The essay concludes with discussions on the implications of the essay, its limitations, and suggestions for future work.

The purpose of this study was to research into TV makeup types focusing on Korean aesthetics with recognizing importance of Korean thought amid what the global interest pays attention to South Korea thanks to the recent influence of Hanryu(Korean wave). The following are summary and result of this study. The non-dual beauty is an integrative concept of including ambivalence on the categorical difference in sex, culture and class by transcending the extreme binary division. As this is what reflected the open thought of pursuing balance of yin and yang in Korean people, it is being shown in the form of transcendence and far-outness through TV entertainment programs. Transcendence coexisted with maintaining relative relationship beyond separation in sex. Far-outness was pursuing free sensitivity immanent in the non-separated thought of transcending the past, the present and future. This trend is being indicated similarly to a change in its paradigm from separation to convergence these days. Accordingly, even makeup was showing similarity to the recent trend with being paid attention to the makeup of focusing on identity in sex and to the makeup of being coexisted the past, the present and future with the aspect of being mixed space time. The Korean aesthetics has been feeble in its influence compared to the Oriental image of focusing on China and Japan in the meantime. Hence, this study can be said to have significance in a sense of being the first consideration that compared TV makeup types of focusing on Korean aesthetics and suggested its developmental direction.

The purpose of this study aimed at establishing the validity and reliability regarding the instrument of assessing child psychological well-being. The child psychological well-being rating scale contained 3 dimensions (sense of competency, sense of relation, sense of improvement) 8 variables (sense of control, sense of achievement, sense of confidence, sense of acceptance, sense of intimacy, sense of balance, sense of morale, sense of hope) and 4 rating scale of 80 items. After the scale development, the estimates of reliability for the scale were high. Cornbach ${\alpha}$ was .962 and generalizability was .875. And concurrent validity, criteria related validity, and discriminant validity appeared to be evident sufficiently to the validity of child psychological well-being instrument. The significance of the present study was intended to apply scale validity procedure by using generalizability.

In present-day Korea, a climatic change is causing various changes to the life of people and their body. The climate is more and more warm, so the internal environment of people's body is exchanging to warm. The climatic change's range is big and the speed is fast. So the harmony of human body is being destroyed and the human body's adaptation ability is becoming low. At this condition, diseases more frequently occur. So doctor must expect the occur of diseases and practice early treatment. And in present-day Korea, a life environmental change is being advanced. The life environmental change is causing big changes to the people's body and having influences to the occur of diseases. To this problem, doctor must expect and practice early treatment. This thesis would like to interpret about present-day Korea's climatic changes and life environmental changes in Korean Medicine point of view, and try to present the method of Korean Medicine early treatment. And comment on present-day Korea's early treatment method especially on health supplement or functional food and vaccination.

The purpose of the present study was to test the mediating effect of children's creativity on the relationship among the openness to experience(OE) trait, maternal parenting behaviors, and their subjective well-being. 248 children attending elementary schools in the rural areas of Korea and their mothers were recruited. Results indicated that creativity partially mediated the relations between children's OE and their subjective well-being. However, creativity did not mediate the relations between maternal parenting behaviors and children's subjective well-being. Results of the present study suggest that the OE may influence children's adjustment through creativity. It is also implied that there may be no optimal parenting style which unconditionally promotes children's creativity.

Global warming started as the scientific problem in 20th century is being highlighted as the environmental issue with the conclusion of convention on climate change. It has great influence in all aspects of nature, especially 'Eco-friendly design' that takes not only health life of present but also affluent life in the future into consideration became an inevitable trend in almost all industries including the apparel and distribution industry worldwide. Therefore, this study is an eco-friendly tendency in fashion that are hot issue in the world and focused on advertisement and collection since 2000. The aim of this is to classify eco-friendly fashion design study presented in contemporary fashion brand. In result, it was analyzed fourth tendencies as follows : eco-friendly tendency with organic material, upgradation of recycle fashion, green campaign and well-being LOHAS fashion. In this aspect, eco-friendly tendency that is expanded to overall society, culture and living shows in present.
