Tunnel Gateway Satisfying Mobility and Security Requirements of Mobile and IP-Based Networks

  • Full-mesh IPSec tunnels pass through a black ("unsecure") network (B-NET) to any red ("secure") networks (RNETs). These are needed in military environments, because they enable dynamically changing R-NETs to be reached from a BNET. A dynamically reconfiguring security policy database (SPD) is very difficult to manage, since the R-NETs are mobile. This paper proposes advertisement process technologies in association with the tunnel gateway's protocol that sends 'hello' and 'prefix advertisement (ADV)' packets periodically to a multicast IP address to solve mobility and security issues. We focus on the tunnel gateway's security policy (SP) adaptation protocol that enables R-NETs to adapt to mobile environments and allows them to renew services rapidly soon after their redeployment. The prefix ADV process enables tunnel gateways to gather information associated with the dynamic changes of prefixes and the tunnel gateway's status (that is, 'down'/restart). Finally, we observe two different types of performance results. First, we explore the effects of different levels of R-NET movements on SP adaptation latency. Next, we derive the other SP adaptation latency. This can suffer from dynamic deployments of tunnel gateways, during which the protocol data traffic associated with the prefix ADV protocol data unit is expected to be severe, especially when a certain tunnel gateway restarts.

  • In this paper, we propose an address autoconfiguration mechanism and a route establishment mechanism appropriate for the modified MANET architecture which overcomes the multi-link subnet problem. For the delivery of Router Advertisement (RA) messages without causing the duplicate packet reception problem in the multi-hop wireless network environment, the Scope-Extended RA (Scope-Extended Router Advertisement) message is defined. Also, by defining the MANET Prefix option, a MANET node is allowed to send packets destined to a host not in the MANET directly to the gateway. This can prevent the performance degradation caused by broadcasting control messages of the reactive routing protocol for route establishment. The performance of the proposed mechanism is analyzed through NS-2 based simulations and, according to the simulation results, it is shown that the proposed mechanism performs well in terms of the control message overhead.

  • 이 연구는 MBTI의 심리 기능지표 조합인 ST, SF, NT, NF의 유형별 특징을 반영한 마케팅 문체 프레임워크를 정의하고 모델 학습을 통해 성격유형별 맞춤화 된 광고 메시지로 생성하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 활용되는 광고 메시지 자동 생성 기술은 BART 모델에 성격유형을 Prefix로 포함한 광고문을 학습시켜 성격유형에 따라 맞춤형 광고 메시지를 생성하는 방식이다. 학습된 모델은 Prefix 조작만으로 MBTI 성격유형별 문체 특징을 갖춘 광고 메시지로 변환되는 것을 실험을 통해 확인할 수 있었다. 본 연구는 성격유형의 특징을 문체 프레임워크로써 정의하고 이에 기반한 모델 학습을 통해 성격유형별 특징을 반영한 광고 메시지를 재현해 낼 수 있다는 점에서 의의가 있다. 또한 성격유형과 연관 feature를 함께 학습하여 유형별 문체 특징과 소구점을 포함한 광고 메시지를 생성했다는 기술적 가치가 있다. 이 연구 결과를 기반으로 차후 타겟 고객층의 성격유형과 광고 도메인을 고려한 효과적인 광고 콘텐츠를 생성해 내는 모델을 개발하여 타겟 마케팅 분야는 물론이고 지역별 또는 언어별 문체 간 차이를 구조화하거나 재현해야 하는 문제에서 기반이 되는 연구로 활용될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.
