  • The purpose of this study to analyze the effect of Mindfulness on the Therapeutic Relationship using System Dynamics. The biggest factor in psychotherapy's treatment outcome is the Therapeutic Relationship including the quality of the therapist (empathy, therapeutic presence) and therapy alliance. Mindfulness practice can facilitate the therapeutic relationship. In order to analyze the therapeutic relationship, I measure FFMQ(Five Facet Mindfulness Questionnaire), Empathy, Therapeutic presence and Therapy alliance. Participants consist of 55 mental health professionals (doctor, psychologist, psychiatrist, counselor, social worker). The result of the study will be explained. First, with the causal loop diagram research, I analyze how mindfulness can influence the quality of therapist and therapy alliance. The result of literature research indicate that mindfulness increase therapist's empathy, congruence, therapeutic presence, flow, therapy alliance. And then mindfulness reinforces the ability of therapeutic relationship. Secondly, through the real data research and simulation analysis, mindfulness practicing period (year and hour a day) of therapist is studied. The result of the therapist experiencing mindfulness practice period is over 5 years and the daily hours of practice is 2 - 2.5 hours in order to enhance the therapeutic relationship. After reviewing the result of the research it is important to understand the practicing period and daily practice of mindfulness. With daily practice and time, the level of mindfulness will increase and influence positively the therapeutic relationship between therapist and client.

The analysis methods were complex frequency analysis, complex chi-square test, and complex logistic regression analysis. Results: In case of brush teeth after lunch during the week, those who practiced it was 1,025 times higher than those who did not practice it, and in the case of oral symptoms practice was 0.915 times lower than not practice. As a result of adjusted general characteristics, for brushing teeth after lunch during the week, practice was 1,090 times higher than no practice. For this purpose, a preliminary investigation, survey, data analysis, interview as secondary source, and final data analysis were processed as research methods. The subjects of this study were the 42 supervisors in the centers which oversee the field practicum experience and the 12 supervisors in the centers which do not oversee the field practicum experience. 3 supervisors were interviewed to inquire about the reformation of field instruction in Healthy Family Support Centers. Analysis was made of the general characteristics of the above-mentioned 54 supervisors, including sex, age, academic background, certificate of qualification, class of position, and length of career related to the healthy family program. The environment of the field practice, such as the numbers of students supervised, time of field practice, practice hours, and so on, was examined in the centers which oversee the field practicum experience. The actual condition of operation investigated was divided into the preparatory stage, the early stage, the midterm stage, and the end stage. Research was conducted on the improvement of the field practicum, including the proper number of students supervised, adequate practice hours, interaction with universities or colleges, obstacles to the field practicum, and of practicum. The possibility and preparation of a further field practicum was conducted for 12 Healthy Family Support Centers, by inquiring about (a) the reasons for not overseeing the field practicum experience and (b) the needs of universities or colleges for a field practicum. The 54 supervisors surveyed suggested a particular need for improvement in human resources, the space of field instruction, system of field practicum, length of practice hours, orientation for students etc. This study investigated the actual conditions and suggested improvements of the field practicum in Healthy Family Support Centers. The effects of wearing time per day and demographic characteristics on those were evaluated. A questionnaire was developed and administered to 494 housewives. Statistical tests such as descriptive analysis, crosstabs, factor analysis, one-way ANOVA, were used to analyze the data. The results indicated that housewives were largely divided into two groups according to the wearing time per day. One group wore gloves more than 3 hours a day, while the other wore less than 3 hours. We found that there were significant differences in the wearing practice and the purchasing characteristics between these two groups. It showed that the quality improvement of household rubber gloves should be achieved in a point of view of the comfort feeling and easiness in wearing and taking off. The housewives showed positive attitude toward pliability and necessity, while negative altitude toward dryness, comfort and mobility in wearing. The household rubber gloves were identified as the necessities which is so familiar and common that only a few of demographic characteristics have effect on.

  • As Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) became a pandemic, most nursing departments in Korea implemented online non-face-to-face practices rather than the existing practice method. This study was a qualitative study that analyzed the reflection diaries written by participants to understand what they experienced in the online non-face-to-face adult nursing practice process. The online non-face-to-face adult nursing practice was 90 hours for two credits and nine hours per day for a total of 10 days. This online practice consisted of computer-based simulation practice, computer-based nursing skills practice, video and educational material production, real-time online quiz, online lecture video, and discussion. As a result of analyzing the reflection diary, six categories, 13 subcategories, and 33 codes were derived. The six categories were 'Experience of various situations', 'Experience of new study', 'Fulfillment for the clinical practice', 'Building relations with professors', 'Fear of being a pre-nurse', and 'Ambivalence for the non-face-to-face practice'. These results are significant in that in the post-corona era, adult nursing practice was conducted as a non-face-to-face practice rather than a clinical practice institution, and various educational methods were operated. This study is expected to provide important basic data for the development and operation of non-face-to-face adult nursing practice.
