Practice evidenced by reliable knowledge is essential for professionals and practical studies. Because nursing is a human science and practical science, theory and knowledge development is an indispensable task to improve nursing. Nursing is a very special paradigm not exactly correlated to Western medicine and Oriental medicine. However, nursing was influenced by on Western medicine at the beginning, and most nursing theories were established western philosophies. Caring is the essence of nursing. To provide qualitative care which satisfies clients, it is required to respect cultures of the clients. Western and Eastern approaches of thinking are coexisting in Korea no, so the needs for developing a nursing model, East-West Nursing, which blends two approaches are increasing. In this paper, concepts of the East-West Nursing, differences between Oriental and Western medicines, and comparison of nursing metaparadigm in prospects from and Western Philosophies were briefly covered to define the East-West Nursing. Strategies and directions to develop the East-West Nursing were also discussed.

To gain competitive advantage in a fast changing environment, the higher education institution (HEI) must continuously adjust the strategies to that environment. One important strategy is how to determine appropriate practical actions based on what students really need and want. Despite the abundance of research on service quality management, there is no universal consensus on how best to determine appropriate practical actions in HEIs. The aim of this paper is to develop an integrated model to be used to accurately acquire the most critical service attributes and determine appropriate actions that promote student satisfaction. Drawing on relevant literature, an integrated model is proposed which is based on students' perspective by integrating the fuzzy SERVQUAL, refined Kano, and Blue Ocean model. Subsequently, an empirical case study in the higher education sector is described that illustrates the value of the model in determining the most critical attributes and how to improve them.

Purpose: This study was performed to compare and analyze practice self-efficacy, paramedics image, and major satisfaction according to paramedic students practice experience. Methods: The subjects of this study were 224 paramedic students from universities across the country. The analysis methods were completed using the SPSS/WIN 23.0 program as the frequency percentage, mean±standard deviation, independent samples t-test, Pearson correlation, and logistic regression. Results: It was found that students who experienced practical training had higher levels of practical self-efficacy compared to students who did not (adj OR=3.947, 95% CI=1.932-8.061). Conclusion: Based on the results of this study, it is thought that educational strategies and measures in the absence of practice in the paramedic students.

We studied to aim for exploring practical approaches to enhance the effectiveness of creativity education by using artificial intelligence and the metaverse in the field of media contents. Recognizing the need for educational innovation to adapt to the accelerating changes driven by the advancements in artificial intelligence and the metaverse, and considering the increasing importance of fostering creativity as a key competitive advantage for future talents, we focused on research implementing creativity education in the media contents domain. To achieve this, we conducted this study during a semester-long media contents course utilizing artificial intelligence and the metaverse in real classroom setting. We involved in this study collecting feedback and opinions from students to investigate and identify effective strategies for enhancing the impact of creativity education. As a result, we proposed the utility of media contents class using artificial intelligence and the metaverse in enhancing students' creativity. By elucidating which teaching methods are most effective, we contributed to derive beneficial outcomes for media contents creative education.

Metaheuristics' impact is profound across many fields, yet domestic financial portfolio optimization research falls short, particularly in asset allocation. This study delves into metaheuristics for portfolio optimization, examining theoretical and practical benefits. Findings indicate portfolios optimized via metaheuristics outperform the Dow Jones Index in Sharpe ratios, underscoring their potential to enhance risk-adjusted returns significantly. Tabu search, in comparison to Simulated Annealing, demonstrates superior performance by efficiently navigating the search space. Despite these advancements, practical application remains challenging due to the complexities in metaheuristic implementation. The study advocates for broader algorithmic exploration, including population-based metaheuristics, to refine asset allocation strategies further. This research marks a step towards optimizing portfolios from an extensive array of financial assets, aiming for maximum efficacy in investment outcomes.

Method development for complex low molecular mass (LMM) samples using reversed-phase (RP) separation conditions presents significant challenges due to the presence of many unknown analytes over wide concentration ranges. This guide aims to optimize method parameters-column length (L), temperature (T), flow rate (F), and final mobile phase conditions (Øfinal)-to maximize separation peak capacity. Validated by prior research, this protocol benefits laboratories dealing with metabolomics, natural products, and contaminant screening. This practical guide provides a structured approach to maximizing peak capacity for complex LMM separations. It complements computational optimization strategies and offers a step-by-step method development process. The Snyder-Dolan test is highlighted as essential for determining the need for gradient or isocratic elution and guiding column length decisions. The decision tree framework helps analysts prioritize variable optimization to develop effective separation methods for complex samples.

본 연구에서는 결혼이민여성이 가족생활적응을 위하여 아내, 며느리, 어머니로서 어떠한 적응 전략을 가지고 살아가고 있는지를 밝힘으로서 이들의 실천적 적응 전략을 개발하는데 유용한 함의를 도출하고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 8명의 결혼이민여성을 대상으로 현상학적 연구방법론으로 가족 내 관계의 차원 즉 부부관계, 시부모관계, 자녀관계를 중심으로 가족생활적응전략을 분석하였다. 분석결과, 부부관계 적응전략에서 '착한 남편 바라보고 살기', '남편은 나의 편이어야 함', 시부모관계 적응전략에서 '시집식구 배제하기', '돌봄의 수용', 자녀관계 적응전략에서 '자녀를 결혼생활의 목표로 삼음', '지역사회와 통합', '부모로서의 권위 갖추기', '한국 사람처럼 가르치기', 심리적 적응전략에서는 '정체성의 유지와 변화수용', '자존감 지키기', '마음비우기'의 11개 주제와, 26개의 주제묶음, 76개의 의미를 도출하였다. 이러한 결과를 토대로 결혼이민 여성의 가족관계에 따른 적응전략의 본질을 밝히고 가족생활 적응을 강화하기 위한 방안을 제시하였다.

Background: The purpose of the study, using the ICF Tool in the process of rehabilitation of artificial joint replacement surgery of the hip joint, goal setting and understanding of the problem, through the process of creating intervention strategies, useful clinical practical course for rehabilitation I try to present the data. Methods: Fracture was the left total hip replacement (THR) surgery due to women of 76 years old. I proceed in order screening, evaluation, diagnosis, prognosis, treatment planning and intervention, re-screening. Needs of the patient was walking short distances for using the toilet. In order to improve was carried out arbitration, after you have created a list of issues that limit the ability to walk short distances. Results: It was revealed improved results in self-paced walk test (SPWT) and Western Ontario and McMaster Universities Osteoarthritis Index (WOMAC) was used to examine whether the goals. In addition, MMT VAS, DGI, and TUG is a detailed goal was improved. Conclusions: It can be shown objectively the results of interventions performed for the purpose of solving the problem which is grasped through clinical Practical course for short-range walking ability enhance patient THR. I considered practical clinical course using the ICF Tool would be useful.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to review articles on Nursing Management Minimum Data Sets (NMMDS) and to suggest strategies to improve practical use of NMMDS in nursing management. Methods: A systematic search for articles published until 2013 was undertaken using the following biomedical databases: CINAHL, PubMed, and Google scholar. Seventeen articles were fully reviewed. Results: The results showed that studies were related to updating NMMDS reflecting current EHR use, mapping NMMDS to standardized national databases, and validating, translating and evaluating NMMDS for international uses. NMMDS has three dimensions and was developed reflecting the needs of nurse managers. Conclusion: The study findings provide a summary of recent trends in NMMDS. These results can serve as basic information to promote practical use of NMMDS in the healthcare organization to provide nursing management data for nurse managers.

The purpose of this study was to examine the pre-service elementary teachers' perceptions and attitudes toward sustainable development. Subjects were 152 university students, who were surveyed by questionnaire. The instrument consisted of totally 41 items which were constructed by 3 components; 'the perception of concept of sustainable development', 'the attitude toward the relationship between economy and environment' and 'the practical intention of personal change for sustainable lifestyle'. The key findings suggest that most students associate strongly the concepts of sustainable development with their environmental as against economic and social aspect. Most of them incline toward eco-centrism but they had complex attitudes concerning the relationship between economy and environment. They have intention to act for sustainable lifestyle such as purchasing habits, recycling, energy water saving, forms of transportation, nature conservation and education. However, they prefer to act passively than actively in a certain aspect of sustainable lifestyle. Understanding of pre-service elementary teachers' perceptions of and attitudes toward sustainable development will be helpful to work out teaching and learning strategies in environmental education.
