Education emphasizes problem-solving skills based on convergent thinking power in an era of rising uncertainty and rapid progress. This paper proactively designed e-Learning team teaching convergence liberal arts courses for prospective teachers by these social needs. It analyzed the empirical effects on the operation of the subjects to foster future talent who can converge and apply knowledge in various fields. The curriculum consisted of professors of mathematics, practical Arts, computer, and education, and was operated to convey convergent knowledge of information technology and humanities, and consisted of 15 liberal arts courses at J University. Besides, textbooks and teaching materials were also developed by the faculty. As a result of the primary research, prospective teachers who took the course generally showed high satisfaction with the class, especially for the faculty. The students' overall convergent thinking ability has increased to a statistically significant level (p<.01), and the students' major has been found to be irrelevant. On the other hand, it can be seen that communication, content convergence, and caring factors, excluding creativity factor, have all risen to a significant level.

This study was progessed from March 3, 2015 to March 31 for purpose of evaluating the effects of the trauma-patient practice education using simulation on knowledge, satisfaction and problem-solving in paramedic students. To closely examine the adequacy of education for paramedic students in one university, a comparison was made by dividing 28 male and female students into two groups of experimental group with 14 students and control group with 14 students. The experimental group was carried out the practice education of the trauma-patient simulation using simulator. The control group was conducted the theoretical and practical education through a traditional instructor-led class. As a result of the research, the experimental group can be known to be significantly higher(t=2.09, p<.05) than the control group in the post-knowledge survey and satisfaction following the development in each educational method for 4 weeks. Also, in consequence of the variable-based correlation in the sub-factors of satisfaction, a correlation was shown between interest and clinical help or between interest and problem-solving ability(p<.05, p<.01). Based on the results of this study, it is considered that the simulation practice education in the emergency department is demanded and that the practice education will need to be continuously applied through developing a proper scenario.
In this study, we are purposed to find the educational effect of practical training using a 3D printed structure-based blind box on multidimensional radiographic image interpretation. The subjects were 83 (male: 49, female: 34) 2nd year radiological science students who participated in the digital medical imaging practice that was conducted for 3 years from 2020 to 2022. The learning method used 3D printing technology to print out the inside structure of the blind box designed by itself. After taking X-rays 3 times (x, y, z axis), the structure images in the blind box were analyzed for each small group. We made the 3D structure that was self-made with clay based on our 2D radiographic images. After taking X-rays of the 3D structure, it was compared whether it matches the structural image of the blind box. The educational effect for the practical training surveyed class faithfulness, radiographic image interpretation ability (attenuation concept, contrast concept, windowing concept, 3-dimensional reading ability), class satisfaction (interest, external recommendation, immersion) on a 5-point Likert scale as an anonymous student self-writing method. As a result, all evaluation items had high positive effects without significant differences between males and females. Practical education using blind boxes is a meaningful example of radiology education technology using 3D printing technology, and it is expected to be used as content to improve students' problem-solving skills and increase satisfaction with major subjects.

The purpose of this study is designed to apply the model of the problem-based learning in the class of Disaster Psychology and then analyze the experiences that its students felt. The participants in this research are 56 undergraduates. The class of Disaster Psychology was conducted with blended learning using lecture and PBL. The PBL problem should be solved just for 3 weeks. The data collected after the class is an analysis of the PBL problem, log on group activities, personal reflection diary, Group evaluation. Then, each data should be collected and analyzed quantitatively through the repetitive comparison, and the triangle-measurement. The findings suggest that there is a remarkable educational learning experience in seven categories: acquire expertise, confidence, practical problem-solving skill, communication ability, roles of calling, efficacy, change in perspective. This study introduces a case of PBL course development and expects subsequent applications and research.

The purpose of this research is to accomplish the goal of science education based in the seventh science course of study by suggesting the plan for development of executable method in the learning process of Earth Science education and establishing a practical model to evaluate its achievement. Furthermore, the idea of this research is to recognize a way of using and consideration at practical use of the model. Since the purpose of the educational evaluation is to maximize the efficiency of school studying, there are some negative aspects in our current method of evaluation to achieve the purpose. New system has been introduced into the educational evaluation to resolve such a critical issue. Despite some positive aspects in the system, it could not be escaped from the multiple choice and pens examination. This could be caused by in various limitations, especially the insufficiency of teachers' awareness and the data about the Performance assessment. This research is to develop and use the practical model for the Performance assessment in consideration of current educational circumstances of Junior and High school. The model of the Performance assessment in this research is to sufficiently evaluate student's ability and skill in the learning process of Earth Science education. Hence, it is dedicated to the education for human being and improve quality in the learning process of the Earth Science education among the modern society, which is characterized globalization and information. Furthermore, it may promote the growth of various character of students and increase creativity and skill for the problem solving.
This study aims to explore the effect of an appropriate technology program related to water acquisition and purification on scientific attitudes and creative problem-solving skills in elementary school students. Thus, this study developed a learning program related to the appropriate technology composed of 8 sessions, and some were for exploring water acquisition-related scientific principles and the appropriated technology of Warka Tower, and the others were for conducting water purification-related inquiry experiments, such as Life Straw and Drinkable Book, and the last two sessions were for presenting practical tasks through creative ideas and designs and carrying out the relevant campaign activities. For research subjects, this study selected 51 students from two sixth-grade classes, and after modifying the scientific attitude questionnaire and the creative problem-solving skill questionnaire fit for the environment and situation, this study conducted a paired-sample t-test by applying both the questionnaires before and after this program. In addition, while looking into the correlation between scientific attitudes and creative problem-solving skills, based on the post-test results, this study examined relationships between sub-domains perceived by the students after this program was applied. The results can be summarized as below. Out of all the scientific attitudes, curiosity, openness, cooperation, and creativity showed statistically significant results with an increase in the average value when their overall averages of the pre-test were compared with those of the post-test. With creative problem-solving skills, the domain of mastering a specific area and the domain of divergent thinking showed statistically significant results. The correlation analysis results showed that cooperation out of the scientific attitudes had a significant correlation with all the domains of creative problem-solving skills, especially showing the highest correlation coefficient with such sub-domains as critical and logical thinking. All the four domains of creative problem-solving skills showed a number of significant correlations with the sub-domains of scientific attitudes. Through the research results above, this study has several implications on how and where to apply such appropriate technology-related topics in the future and various responses from students.

Modern society requires people with practical knowledge that is able to recognize actual problems in the complex reality and solve the problems. Due to that reason, the 7th National Curriculum aims to basically cultivate ability adaptable to information-oriented global age by maximizing students' individuality and creativity. However, as existing education is hard to improve creativity, logical thinking, information processing skills, and problem-solving ability in the information-oriented age, self-directed learning is getting highlighted. Therefore, this study aimed to look into how learner-oriented IPER for self-directed learning and problem-based learning(PBL) in middle school science affected academic achievement of science and self-directed learning characteristics. As the results of the study are as follows. First, as the result of pre-and post-test to compare and analyze the effects of IPER instruction model and PBL instruction model on learners' academic achievement increase, it showed that the class with IPER instruction model was more effective. Second, as the result of pre-and post-test to compare and analyze the effects of IPER instruction model and PBL instruction model on self-directed learning characters, IPER was more effective than PBL overall, and among sub-areas, 'openness', 'self-concept', 'initiative', 'future-oriented self-understanding', and 'self-evaluation' were more effective in IPER while 'creativity' was more effective in PBL. However, among sub-areas 'responsibility' and 'learning enthusiasm' didn't show statistically significant difference. Third, the results of the post-survey to compare and analyze learners' perception regarding the application of IPER instruction model and PBL instruction model, the two models were positively affective. In addition, as the result of comparing the two models, IPER was more positive than PBL.
This stduy aimed to suggest a possible way for a new setting of interior design education through analyzing educational situations of domestic interior design societies. The study showed that interior design education should not follow expressive methods made from practical work which had been popular in the past and it should establish fundamental formation to make interior design education useful in industrial fields through active educationalindustrial complex. Interior design education is not possible without interrelationship with other professional fields and cooperative attitudes among them. The rapid development in the modern industrial world and the ever-growing information processing world regardless of ideology and regiional boundaries indicate that the future of interior design education will be no longer effective with traditional education systems. The idea suggested in this study may be understood as a bridge between the educational reality and its ideal in interior design teaching. The main points of the study are follows. First, the projects of advanced interior design should be focused on increasing the ability for problem solving rather than accumulating basic knowledge. Second, motivation is important for the maximization of the efficiency of educatiov. Therefore a few suggestions in establishing design conditions, as strategies of inducing 'attention', 'self-confidence', 'satisfaction', and 'relevance' are closely examined to propose practical application methods. Third, educational methods should be developed towards creativity in order to increase abilities of thinking and expressiov. Finally, it is necessary to explore various device which help internship participants to get experiences with a sense of practical situations in industrial fields. This could be possibly done by enforcing academic grades for the work done as an internship participation; by employing workmen in industrial fields as faculty members; and by bringing faculty members into actual industrial situations and providing workmen with lectures. A new approach for a better design education seems to be desirable for the future.

This study was performed to investigate the effects of creative teaching technique(CTT) on critical thinking disposition(CTD), problem solving process(PSP), and self-leadership(SL) in 5 majors of first to third grades in a college nursing department. CTT was developed to promote memory and practical ability. The study was conducted from August 1 to December 31 in 2017, and the survey was performed before and after applying the CTT. As a result, there was no difference in CTD, PSP, and SL in the first graders whom applied various teaching techniques to one subject. But CTD was 6.8point(p<0.001), PSP was 7.5~7.9point(p<0.001) and SL was 2.9~3.3point(p<0.001) improved in the second and third grades whom applied similar teaching techniques in two subjects. In order to improve the students' core competency, it is more effective for students to apply one or two methods repeatedly in several subjects than to apply various methods to one subject. Since the CTT was more effective in the group that selected the major depending on aptitude and interest, it is necessary to develop various teaching and learning strategies to enhance the interest in nursing major.
For given the importance of elementary school students developing the ability to solve problems using artificial intelligence (AI), problem-solving abilities should be developed using AI along with education to develop problem-solving abilities. Such students need a form that allows them to understand the concepts and principles of AI and to be easily educated in a fun way to understand basic understanding of how AI works. To this end, this study planned an 8-hour AI convergence program and operated based on self-driving cars, demonstrating that it was effective in improving elementary school students' problem-solving abilities, creativity, and AI understanding. As a result of operating the camp, students' understanding of AI was 3.56 (standard deviation 0.85), 4.00 (standard deviation 0.71), and t-value was -5.412 (p<0.001), indicating statistically improved understanding of AI, and high satisfaction and interest of students. In the future, it will be necessary to develop an educational program that allows elementary school students to devise their own ideas and create products to which AI models can be applied.
