In general, lecture evaluation has been used in most universities as an important criterion to evaluate quality of education. This study is exploratory research on the predictors that determine lecture evaluation in college of engineering to give practical implications for improvement of engineering education. For the exploration of predictors of lecture evaluation, the data of lecture evaluation in A College of Engineering located in the metropolitan area was used, and Decision Tree Analysis was utilized as an analysis method. As a result, the characteristics of students turned out to be the most distinct predictor comparing with those of course and instructor at lecture evaluation in college of engineering. That is, as various elements other than teaching competency influence lecture evaluation in college of engineering, it is necessary to be more careful in evaluating quality of lecture or teaching competence. Thus, a follow-up study should be conducted to adjust the influence by the predictors that instructors can hardly control.

목적: 실제 굴절검사(PR, Practical Refraction)를 위한 교육용 시뮬레이터인 가상 굴절검사(VR, Virtual Refractor) 의 효과를 평가하는데 있다. 방법: 안경광학과 3학년에 재학 중인 24명이 VR교육에 지원하였다. 학생 스스로 VR교육에 참가하여 연습을 하였고, 1개월 후 학생들은 가상 굴절검사에서 가상 피검자 3명과 실제 굴절검사에서 실제 피검자 1명에 대해 굴절검사를 실시하여 평가 결과를 제출하였고, 가상과 실제 굴절검사의 평가 결과를 비교하였다. 또한 5점 리커척도를 기준으로 한 자가 평가 설문을 자발적 참여도, 굴절검사에 대한 기여도, VR과 PR의 일치도 및 VR의 필요성과 같은 영역에 대하여 실시하였다. 결과: 가상 굴절검사와 실제 굴절검사의 평가에서 Spearman 상관계수는 0.71(p<0.01)로 뚜렷한 상관관계를 보였다. 설문에서 영역들의 평균은 3.67${\pm}$0.96로 VR 이용이 유익한 것으로 나타났고, 이들 영역 간에 0.91~0.68(p<0.01)의 높은 상관관계를 보였다. 결론: VR은 연습의 집중도를 높이고 실제 상황에 맞는 체계적 접근과 역할이 되도록 보완이 필요하지만, VR과 실제 굴절검사 사이에 높은 상관성을 보 였으며 VR은 실제 굴절검사에 도움이 되는 긍정적 평가를 보였다.

본 논문은 수행평가의 이론적인 조사와 평가 유형을 검토하고 퍼지이론을 이용한 수행평가처리시스템 모델을 구성하고 설계한 평가처리시스템의 알고리즘을 제시하였다. 이 수행평가처리시스템을 가지고 현재 초등학교 실과교과단원의 수행평가유형을 적용하여 처리한 결과를 도식으로 제시하였다.

Because of rapid development of software technology, a number of software professionals have been concerned with component-based development methodologies. Up to date, the evaluation of component quality has been focused on object-oriented metric based methodology. But this paper presents the selection process and evaluation criteria based on an MCDM(Multiple Criteria Decision Making) technique for the selection of optimal COTS component from consumers' viewpoints. We considered functionality, efficiency and usability based on ISO/IEC 9126 for quality measurement and conducted practical analysis into commercial EJB component in internet. This paper shows that the proposed selection technique is applicable for the selection of the optimal COTS component.

Recently, building remodeling has been of more importance than ever, and it has become necessary to consider the economic efficiency in building remodeling. This study is intended to investigate the various aspects of remodeling and their comparative importance, based on the responses by building owners and remodeling constructors, and eventually the development of evaluation method of economic efficiency in building remodeling. The survey of office building constructors and building owners shows that. the need of remodeling is commonly stressed but their concerns differ. The proposed evaluation method may be useful to resolve the difference of economic concerns between demand and supply parts of remodeling, and give practical and reasonable guidelines to them.

Drugs can have various adverse effects on the immune system including unintended immun-osuppression, induction of both drug-specific immune responses (including drug allergies) and non-specific immunostimulation (including autoimmune reactions), and direct activation of effector mechanisms (such as histamine release). As a practical matter, the Center for Drug Evaluation (CDER) relies on standard non-clinical toxicology studies to detect unintended immunosuppression. Specific assays using guinea pigs and mice are available to identify drugs that can induce immune-mediated dermal hypersensitivity reactions. Respiratory and systemic hypersensitivity and autoimmune reactions are more difficult to model in non-clinical studies. Unintended nonspecific immunstimulation can be detected in animal studies. CDER is currently developing specific guidance for evaluating potential drug immunotoxicity.

The characteristics of sponge cakes containing sucrose or other sweeteners for diabetes mellitus patients were investigated through physical measurement and sensory evaluation. The results are as follows: The physical properties of cake batters and cakes with sweeteners were different from each other in viscosity, specific gravity, standing height, firmness, and springiness. from the result of sensory evaluation, it was shown that cakes containing sorbitol and fructose had high quality even though they were not as good as cake with sucrose. However, cakes with saccarine and stevioside showed much difference compared with cake with sucrose. The characteristics of sponge cake with combined sweeteners (sorbitol plus stevioside) were compairable to those of sucrose cake. There was little difference in specific gravity. The result of sensory evaluation indicated the combined use of both sweetenes could produce bette cakes than either stevioside or sorbitol. Practical utilization of this cake would be provided under the sensory evaluation on these cakes by diabetes mellitus patients.

In network-based control system, measurement and control information is delivered by the network messages. Therefore, the performance of control system is directly affected by the performance of network system. System engineers need to evaluate the performance of network system to maintain the entire system in stable condition. BACnet is an international standard data communication protocol especially designed for building automation and control systems. In this study, experimental performance evaluation methodologies of BACnet MS/TP protocol and their practical evaluation results are presented.

수학과 평가는 학생들의 수학적 사고력과 성취도를 측정하는데 있다. 또한 이를 분석 활용하여 수학교육의 질을 높이는데 그 목적이 있다. 이러한 평가는 좋은 문항제작에서부터 시작된다. 이에 본고는 문항제작 관련 이론을 고찰하고, 교육목표에 따른 예시 문항과 문항제작시의 유의점을 살펴보며, 계획 단계, 초안 문항제작 단계, 검토 단계, 최종 문항제작 단계 등 단계별 문항제작의 실제를 안내하고자 한다.

Statistical reliability in the sensory evaluation measures the agreement of judgements for several observers. Kendall's coefficient of concordance for multiple rankings. and coefficient of consistence and coefficient of agreement for paired comparisons are frequently used as the standard reliability measures. The main idea and the computational formula of these coefficients in various situations are explained in detail with some real (cloth designing) examples. Moreover a user-friendly computer program called as MultPair is introduced. We expect that this expository paper and the computer program give a practical help to the researchers who use the sensory evaluation techniques.
