The recent trend in tourism souvenirs has shifted from traditional products to modern, practical, and budget oriented products. As a result, tourism souvenirs that meet the changing demands of consumers need to be studied and developed. Aprons are one of the most important accessories worn for housework, and are also an important part of uniforms worn at restaurants and hotels. As a result, aprons typify the characteristics of makgeolli - practical products that meet the needs of modern consumers. Therefore, the development of tourism souvenirs targeting tourists that seek Jeonju Makgeolli is expected to bring substantial social and economic benefits. The purpose of the study is to develop designs for aprons for promotional and tourism souvenirs for the Jeonju Makgeolli Research Center. The research has been conducted with a survey on design preferences of aprons, design proposals, production of actual aprons, and selection of the final design. The study is empirical in nature and realistic in scope since it is anticipated that the trial and manufacture of aprons will be commercialized as tourism souvenirs. It is expected that aprons, which can be produced at low cost, will meet the needs of recent consumers who prefer elegant, modern, and practical goods as compared to simple and bland folk crafts or traditional products. More studies and research on the development of designs of aprons as tourism souvenirs is expected to be conducted based on this study.

The practical learning experience is the heart of nursing's professional program of study, have been the most widely disscussed and yet the least studied of all nursing education activities. The major goal of practical learning experience is to provide opportunities in realistic work settings that permit the nursing student to develop the knowledge, skill It attitudes of a beginning practitioner. The purpose of this study is to identify the experience of practical learning in the children's rehabilitation center by nursing students, to provide basic information for developing practical learning in pediatric nursing education. The study design was a descriptive study. Data were collected 74 cases of journaling which came from senior nursing students who cared for the handicapped children in P rehabilitation center from 24, August, 1997 to 29, Decmber, 29, 1998. The collected data were analyzed using the content analysis by Kim & Lee(1986), Kim(1987). The results are as follows : The content of practical learning in the children's rehabilitation center were classified with 5 domains. The domains were , , , , and .

The use of composite semi-rigid connections is not fully exploited, in spite of its great number of advantages. Composite semi-rigid connections may lead to an optimal moment distribution that will render lighter structures. Furthermore, using the appropriate semi-rigid connection design, the stability of the frames against lateral loads may entirely rely on the joint stiffness, thus avoiding bracing systems and permitting more diaphanous designs. Although modern codes, such as the Eurocode 4 (EC4), propose thorough methods of analysis they do not provide enough insight and simplicity from the design point of view. The purpose of this paper is to introduce practical and efficient methods of analysis that will facilitate the work of a structural analyst starting from the global analysis of the composite frame and ending on the final connection design. A key aspect is the definition of the stiffness and strength of the connections that will lead to an optimal moment distribution in the composite beams. Two examples are presented in order to clarify the application of the proposed methods and to demonstrate the advantages of the semi-rigid composite design with respect to the alternative pinned and rigid ones. The final aim of the paper is to stimulate and encourage the designer on the use of composite semi-rigid structures.

대학에서는 지식 습득을 위한 강의식 운영을 탈피하여 각각의 전문분야에서 직접적인 문제해결력을 향상시킬 수 있는 교육 프로그램을 도입 운영하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 실무능력 향상을 위한 가장 대표적인 교육 프로그램이라 할 수 있는 캡스톤 디자인의 성공적인 운영을 위해 캡스톤 디자인을 통해 산출되는 결과물의 양식을 표준화하고 정해진 진행일정에 따라 통합적으로 프로그램을 관리할 수 있는 시스템을 설계 및 구현한다. 또한 이 시스템에서는 캡스톤 디자인의 모든 과정을 담은 포트폴리오를 직접 시스템을 통해 자동 제작할 수 있도록 하여 취업 및 진학에 활용할 수 있도록 돕는 기능을 제공한다.

Three methods for design sensitivity analysis such as finite difference method(FDM), direct differentiation method(DDM) and adjoint variable method(AVM) are well known. FDM and DDM for design sensitivity analysis cost too much when the number of design variables is too large. An AVM is required to compute adjoint variables from the simultaneous linear system equation, the so-called adjoint equation. Because the adjoint equation is independent of the number of design variables, an AVM is efficient for when number of design variables is too large. In this study, AVM has been extended to the eigenproblem of damped systems whose eigenvlaues and eigenvectors are complex numbers. Moreover, this method is implemented into a commercial finite element analysis program by means of the semi-analytical method to show applicability of the developed method into practical structural problems. The proposed_method is compared with FDM and verified its accuracy for analytical and practical cases.

Zero waste fashion design to minimize the 15% fabric waste generated during production can be difficult to industrialize instead of having strong originality. This study designed shirts that are practical and reflect trends using the zero waste pattern cutting method and suggest the possibilities for industrial production. The content of the study are as follows. First, the pattern cutting method of zero waste fashion design was studied. Second, the recent trends of shirt design were analyzed and reflected in the design development. Third, 4 zero waste shirt designs were developed and produced by applying the geometric cutting, puzzle cutting, and minimal cutting methods. As for the research method, literature research was conducted on related references; in addition, design development and production were conducted empirically. As a result, the developed zero waste shirts are practical and trendy. In addition, the results of the study are meaningful to provide basic data for the commercialization and industrial application of zero waste fashion design.

Compared to the fields of Interior Design and Architecture, there have been very few research studies peformed to analyze the history of furniture design in Korea. If our Country wishes to become a participant in the world of global furniture design, it will be necessary to perform more offensive research in both the design of furniture, as well as a complete documentation of our Country's history of furniture design. This study aims to detail the method of chair design by analyzing two examples of chair design. The study, once complete, will be a reference for furniture designers as a practical method, and will become basic material for ongoing studies of the Programming for chair design.

As the design of the day focuses more on human-centered design, this shift creates value for society and also fulfills on a sense of social responsibility. In the area of fashion, the design activity is used as a type of fashion design to realize the social value of design in a changed society; this concept was defined as Fashion Design Activism. The objective of this study is to empirically research design activity as a practical value of the day when the social contributions of fashion design are rising in the overall society through the research on the practice of Fashion Design Activity which is adapting to changes in the fashion design paradigm. Regarding the study method, the literature research and case study were combined. We examined the meaning of social design by reviewing the literature related to this social paradigm, and we analyzed cases in which the effects of fashion design on society were realized through practical activities. Also, we defined the role of fashion design based on an analysis of design types based on previous research. This study divided the roles of fashion design in a pattern based on the social roles that design inhabited, in terms of how 'fashion design fulfilled on social responsibility', 'anthropocentric fashion design putting emphasis on users', and 'fashion design aiming for eco-efficient changes'. This study aimed to seek measures to develop fashion design that could promote changes focusing on society, humans, and the environment.

We discuss why sample design by mathematical programming can be beneficial to practical surveys. We illustrate some developments of software for sample design using mathematical programming in several statistical organizations. Also, we present certain restrictions on the use of mathematical programming.
