Research and a, pp.ication of earthquake protection system in Taiwan have become very active since about ten years ago. Many passive isolators, etc., have been studied extensively. These studies have resulted in a few practical a, pp.ications and proposals of two draft design provisions for seismic isolation design of bridges and buildings. In addition to the pass control, analytical studies on active semi-active control have also been very active and the experimental studies have scheduled in the near future. This paper summarise the progress on recent research and a, pp.ication of earthquake protection systems in Taiwan. The emphases are given to the control systems that have been a, pp.ied in practical a, pp.ications.

본 연구에서는 설계교과과정 및 HRD교과과정의 체계 및 운영, 실험 실습의 운영의 개선방안을 제안한다. 구체적으로 "창의성 향상을 위한 교과과정 개선", "현장성 향상을 위한 교과과정 및 교육방법 개선", '실험 실습 교과과정 운영체계 개선"에 대한 방안을 제안한다. 특히, 경험학습에 기초한 설계교과과정과 HRD교과과정과의 통합적인 운영 가능성을 제안한다.

The parameter-based cardiovascular impedance simulator that is able to overcome the limits of conventional mock circulatory systems is critical for the development and test of biomedical devices including artificial heart. The concept of impedance simulator was validated mathematically in a previous study using high-gain feedback linearization control which, however, may cause serious difficulties and limits for practical implementation. In this study, therefore, practical applicability of the impedance simulator is investigated considering the physical limits such as motor speed and torque. Simple PID controller which do not require complex model of the simulator is used considering the practical implementation. Design guidelines of the impedance simulator are also provided based on the results.

Voltage control and stability problems are very important in the electric utility industry. But there is no voltage stability analysis program which has reliability as commercial program in domestic. We are developing a practical voltage stability analysis program. In this paper, we will study the existing commercial program and then discuss design of practical analysis tool.

To work in the fashion industry which has entered the digital age, and in specialization and high-industrialization age, one needs to attain various skills required for the qualifications of a fashion specialist. For these, qualification certificate systems are enacted to nurture specialized technical personnel, and among these, a jacket pattern is selected from the practical examination of Western-style dress skill prepared for nurturing specialist who can design, cut, and sew women's clothing, to be compared and analyzed against the existing printed practical textbooks, technical books of making clothes which used as college textbooks, and local documents of theoretical study documents. The methodology of the research is to select 8 samples for the study, analyze the identity with the design, and then cut applying the identical dimensions and compare the measurements, and make the clothes using each cutting methods, and inspect to find the consistency with the design and made statistical analysis. As a result, we designed and made research patterns, and suggested a jacket pattern design to patterns simply that suits the design fast.

Recently, the principal processes of T/L design tend to computerize and therefore integrated T/L design system has been developed. Since, it makes the automatic selection of T/L route, tower position and optimum design possible, computerized design method is applied all over the world. KEPCO introduced Optimal PowerLINE for T/L design in Myanmar 500kV project that is as a part of overseas project. And as a result of that work, effective and economical design was carried out. This paper presents the comparative analysis between Previous method and Optimal PowerLINE method for investigating practical application to Myanmar 500kV T/L design.

The global stability of model reference adaptive control system (MRACS) in the ideal case was resolved in the 1980's. Hoever the improvement of the transient, behaviour of MRACS has not been discussed sufficiently even in the ideal case. Only a few attempts have so far been made at the application of MRACS to the practical systems in contrast to the theoretical systematization. Therefore, when we consider the practical usage of MRACS it is necessary to develop an improved design scheme with respect to transient behaviour. In this paper, we propose two design schemes improving transient behaviour of MRACS by mollifying the input synthesis in the conventional design scheme of MRACS. We present a design scheme of MRACS in which we utilize the design approach of variable structure system(VSS). After describing the above design scheme, we also propose the improved design scheme in which we introduce the dead-zone decided by the magnitude of the output-error between the plant and the reference model. The effectiveness of the proposed two design schemes are shown through computer simulations. As the results, by using these methods, the convergence of the transient response is greatly improved in comparison with the conventional one.

최근 공학교육의 발전을 촉진하고 실력을 갖춘 공학기술 인력을 배출하기 위해 공학교육인증에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있다. 이 공학교육인증에서는 학생들에게 포트폴리오 작성을 요구하고 있으며, 포트폴리오는 대학의 전 과정을 통해 달성한 학생 자신의 교육적 성과로서 학생 개개인의 교육 관련 활동과 실적물이 포함되어 있다. 특히, 설계교과목에 대한 포트폴리오에는 졸업 시까지 학생이 만든 설계 결과물이 축적되며, 결과물은 학생의 설계능력에 대한 달성도를 평가할 뿐 아니라 취업 또는 진학 시 중요한 자료로 활용될 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 실습교과목, 공학설계, 졸업설계에 대한 포트폴리오의 양식에 대해 설명하고, 이를 이용한 활용법에 대해 소개한다.

This study was initiated for the purpose of improving the visual effect of lingerie design, and it focused on the image factors and their characteristics of the lingerie design. Images of 105 lingerie design were evaluated by 3-5 images/participant with each image being evaluated 15 times through the SD method 5-scale questionnaire. The lingerie design elements were also analyzed by a committee. For data analysis, SPSS 10.0 program was used, and the principal component analysis, Ward-cluster, K-mean cluster analysis, ANOVA, duncan-test were conducted. The results are as follows: 1) The three major characteristics of the visual images in the lingerie design were aesthetics, dignity, and youth, which were supported 76.78% by the responses. 2) The visual image types can be categorized into four clusters; a dignified style, a sprightly style, a practical style, and a sexual style. 3) The design elements that allowed different design characteristics among the image types were style(one-piece/two-piece), total length, waist fit, matching color, silky lustrous, see-through on waist, hip, race percentages. 4) The ABC(apparel-body-construct) observed that a practical style was perceived as flat and whole rather than a dignified style or a sprightly style, while a sexual style was seen as round and partial.

The purpose of this thesis is to study the method of the reasonable pattern design. The studying method is based on the original principle of the trousers' cutting and I have a hypothesis about the trousers pattern which should be proved. When I selected the practical method, I made use of the international measuring rule, graph paper and tracing paper, in order to prove the new pattern design. The reasonable pattern design should be the one of the suitable original principles to be suited in the design through any measurement. Therefore, I have discussed the above mentioned design. I find out the conclusion to prove the hypothesis of pattern design with the experimental measure after showing the above mentiond design. The characteristics is as follows. First : To be convinient when walking, because of little degree as folding of the front part of trousers with the under-angle. Second : To be suitable in proportion to the length of trousers and the under-angle. Third ; When folding the center line of the Sapok (a name of one of the trousers parts), the length of the Sapoks is same and harmonized with the Sapoks because of the same angle of both Sapoks in any case of the measurement. Fourth : No correction of the lines when dressing, for the same points of the large Sapok and the small one. Fifth : To be easiness of the pattern design through the concrete measurement. I could find out a little extent errors of pattern showings, an easiness of dressing, scientification of formation in Korean trousers and standard of the practical measurement in the program to be presented as the result of studying.
