Mechanical properties and hardness distributions in arc brazed joints of Dual phase steel using Cu-Al insert metal were investigated. The maximum tensile shear load was 10.4kN at the highest brazing current. It was about 54% compared to tensile load of base metal. This joint efficiency is higher than that of joint of DP steel using Cu-based filler metals which are Cu-Si, Cu-Sn. Fracture positions can be divided into two types. Crack initiation commonly occurred at three point junction among upper sheet, lower sheet and the fusion zone. However crack propagations were different with increasing the brazing current. In case of the lower current, it instantaneously propagated along with the interface between fusion zone and upper base material. On the other hand, in case of higher current, a crack propagation occurred through fusion zone. When the brazing current is low (60, 70A), the interface shape is flat type. However the interface shape is rough type, when the brazing current is high (80A). It is thought that the interface shapes were the reason why the crack propagations were different with brazing current. The interface was the intermetallic compounds which consisted of $(Fe,Al)_{0.85}Cu_{0.15}$ IMC formed by crystallization at $1200^{\circ}C$during cooling. Therefore the maximum tensile shear load and the fracture behavior were determined by a interface shape and effective sheet thickness of the fracture position.
The aim of this research was to investigate the chemical components of C30 compounds, especially triterpenoids in Korean native mistletoes of Korthalsella japonicus Engler parasiting to Camellia japonica L., Viscum album var. coloratum (Kom.) Ohmi, to Quercus acutissima Carruth. and Loran-thus yadoriko Sieb. to Neolitsea sericea (BI.) Koidz. For the identification of triterpenoidal components, alkaline hydrolyzates of mistletoes meals were analyzed by TLC, GC, and GC/MS. The content of oleanolic acid and ursolic acid derivatives were highest in K. japonica. In V. album, there was no big difference between leaves and twigs in content. but oleanolic acid in leaves. and olean-12-en-$3{\beta}$-ol and lup-20(29)-en-3-one in twigs were prominent. Similiar to V. album in L. yadoriki there was no difference between leaves and twigs in content, and both olean-12-en-$3{\beta}$-ol, lup-20(29)-en-3-one and urs-12-en-$3{\beta}$-ol in leaves, lup-20(29)-en-3-one in twigs were abundant. Triterpenoids as olea-12-en-$3{\beta}$-ol, lupe-20(29)-en-3-one, 3-oxo-urs-12-en-24-oic acid, and $21{\beta}$-A'-neogam-macer-22(29)-en-3-ol acetate were common in all samples tested. whereas ursolic acid only in P. japonicus and ursenol in L. yadoriki were detected. And P. japonicus had the largest number of triterpenoids and showed the highest in biological activity. So it is noted that Korean mistletoes tested in the study had three types of triterpenoid, oleanane, lupane, and ursane, irrespective of hosts, sampling positions and species.

The genes encoding the DNA gyrase A (GyrA) and B subunits (GyrB) of Methylovorus sp. strain SS1 were cloned and sequenced. gyrA and gyrB coded for proteins of 846 and 799 amino acids with calculated molecular weights of 94,328 and 88,714, respectively, and complemented Escherichia coli gyrA and gyrB temperature sensitive (ts) mutants. To analyze the role of type II topoisomerases in the intrinsic quinolone resistance of methylotrophic bacteria, the sequences of the quinolone resistance-determining regions (QRDRs) in the A subunit of DNA gyrase and the C subunit (ParC) of topoisomerase IV (Topo IV) of Methylovorus sp. strain SS1, Methylobacterium extorquens AM1 NCIB 9133, Methylobacillus sp, strain SK1 DSM 8269, and Methylophilus methylotrophus NCIB 10515 were determined. The deduced amino acid sequences of the QRDRs of the ParCs in the four methylotrophic bacteria were identical to that of E. coli ParC. The sequences of the QRDR in GyrA were also identical to those in E. coli GyrA except for the amino acids at positions 83, 87, or 95. The $Ser^{83}$ to Thr substitution in Methylovorus sp. strain SS1, and the $Ser^{83}$ to Leu and $Asp^{87}$ to Asn substitutions in the three other methylotrophs, agreed well with the minimal inhibitory concentrations of quinolones in the four bacteria, suggesting that these residues play a role in the intrinsic susceptibility of methylotrophic bacteria to quinolones.

Analytical study based on linear fracture mechanics was conducted on propagation behavior of inclined surface crack in semi-infinite elastic body. The analytical model was assumed to be inclined surface crack under plane strain condition upon which Hertzian stress was superimposed. Supposing continuous distribution of dislocation and applying Erdogan-Gupta's method to this crack problem, the stress intensity factors $K_{I}$ and $K_{II}$) at the crack-tip were obtained for various Hertzian contact positions. Analytic results have shown that driving force for crack growth is $K_{I}$ for non-lubricated condition and $K_{II}$ for fluid and boundary lubricated condition. The coefficient of friction at the hertzian contact and crack surfaces plays an important role in predicting the direction of crack propagation. It is also found that the maximum effective stress intensity factor exists at cracks of a certain specific length depending on lubricated condition.ion.n.
In test with multiple choices, it is necessary to have the position of correct answers of each question spreaded evenly over all the questions in order to minimize the influence of answering tendency of test takers with preference to specific position of multiple choices. The scores of tests with correct answers in specific positions would not reflect exactly the academic aptitude of examinees who do not know correct answers but have the biased answering tendency. In this paper, we have randomness test for the positioning of correct answers at the 2017 College Scholastic Ability Test (CSAT) using Bartels rank test, the Wald-Wolfowitz runs test, the turning point test, the Cox Stuart trend test, the difference sign test and the Mann-Kendall tank test, etc. We also do independence test between the location of correct answer and the allocation of score in each question, for it may result in overestimating the test-taker with specific position preference in marking correct answers.
This study is to analyze the kinematic variables of inward $1{\frac{1}{2}}$ somersault in platform diver. For the manner, 3 people form the national diving team in the year 2000were chosen as the subjects and two S-VHS video cameras set in 60frames/sec were used for recording their motions. Coordinated raw positions data through digitizing are smoothing by butter-worth's low-pass filterin method at a cut off frequency 6.0Hz. and the direct linear transformation(DLT) method was employed to obtain 3-D position coordinates. The conclusions were as follows. However, horizontal distance which is the change of the COG, form the point of the jump to the point of Event 3 where the player is out of the board range completely, Subject B showed 105.1cm and 71.1cm of the vertical distance which are shorter horizontal distance and higher vertical distance, thus, took a great advantage of the position to prepare for the entry. Therefore, if a player takes higher position by speeding up the vertical velocity at the moment of the jumping off the board, and stays in the air longer, the player can have more time to show his skill. Because of the use of the characteristics of the inward somersault, keeping the safe distance form the board is important but in order to higher the completeness, it is ideal to keep the horizontal distance little over 100cm. Also, the angles of shoulder and elbow from Event 1 to 4, depending on swing of the arms, motions in the air, getting ready for the entry, showed some difference individual by individual, according to the velocity of the thigh and shank showed much difference while getting ready and take-off, and it's because of the individual's different bending and straightening for horizontal and vertical distance.
The purpose of this study was to find out the kinematical characteristics of arm's basic position in ballet. In order to achieve the purpose of the study, 3D cinematographic analysis was conducted with a ballerina who might performed the perfect arm's basic position. According to the results of this study, it was appeared that the shoulder kept about 78%-82%, the elbow kept about 62%-96%, the wrist kept 52%-109%, and finger kept 48%-110% with the height. Also, movement was formed with $21^{\circ}-77^{\circ}$ of the upper arm angle, $106^{\circ}-164^{\circ}$ of the elbow, $125^{\circ}-140^{\circ}$ of the wrist, and $83^{\circ}-160^{\circ}$ of the shoulder. The left-right ratio of the total arm angle was 98% in the first, second, and third position, and 100% in the forth position. The angle of arm gradient was remained $-68^{\circ}$ in the first position, $-27^{\circ}$ in the second position, $73^{\circ}$ in the third position, and $-11^{\circ}$ in the forth position. Based on the results mentioned above, balance and symmetry of both arms was an important factor in those four positions. Although it is impossible to maintain the position like robot, it may be a good performance if a certain level of extent was remained With respect to this point of view, it may be a good position if the difference between right and left arm in each joint can be remained within 2%. Angle also was an important factor that if the difference in total angle can be remained within 2% it may be an excellent position, there was difference of right and left based on the joint though. Therefore, practice and instruction to make a perfect symmetry as much as possible were needed Also, it would be a good movement if position and angle of joint within 2% difference of right and left arm can be remained In turn, because ballet is movement with expression of the body, beauty of the body and balance of the movement have to be harmonized for beautiful performance. Therefore, it would be a meaningful future study considering the body condition and movement of ballerina to define the beauty.
Among several movements that occurred upon a slope, golf swing is the most typical one because environmental conditions dynamically vary with many kinds of slopes. Some studies on the golf swing were performed about a weight transfer on flatland, however, there couldn't be seen any study about the weight transfer on slope elsewhere. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to provide quantified data to objectively test the coaching words and keys about the weight transfer at sidehill slope during goal impact EspeciaIly sidehill Slopes with ball above the feet. Four highschool golfer, who have average handy 5, were recruited for this study. Plantar pressure distribution and cinematographic data were collected during golf swing in the conditions of flatland, $5^{\circ}$, $10^{\circ}$ and $15^{\circ}$sidehill slope simultaneously. The two data were used to synchronize the two data later. The plantar regions under the foot were divided into 8 regions according to the directly applied pressure pattern of the subject to insole sensor. The 8 foot regions were hullux, medial forefoot, central forefoot, lateral forefoot, medial midfoot, lateral midfoot, medial heel, and lateral heel. And the plantar pressure data was also divided into four movement address, phases-backswing. downswing, and follow-through phases according to the percentage shown to the visual information of film data. Based on the investigations on public golf books and experiences of golfers, it was hypothesized by the authors in the early of this study that the steeper slopes are, the more weight loads on left foot that positions at the higher place. When observing the results of plantar pressure and vertical force curves according to the sidehill slope conditions, the hypothesis could be accepted.
The purpose of this study was to comparatively analyze the kinematic variables between the squash backhand and racquetball backhand strokes through three-dimensional cinematography. Three expert racquetball players and three expert squash players were involved in the data gathering process. The horizontal, vertical and lateral displacement of racket and trunk segment, intersegmental angular velocity of the wrist, elbow and shoulder joints, and the linear velocity of the racket were descriptively analyzed, and the followings were concluded. The racket of the squash backhand stroke showed an 'U' shaped movement where the racket moved rapidly downward and moved forward to make an impact and followed through to a front-top finish, while the racket of racquetball backhand stroke showed an 'O' shaped movement where the racket showed circular movement through the rear and bottom positions for the impact, and showed rotation through the lower-front and upper front to a upper-rear-ward finish during the follow-through. The peak velocity of racket was found before the impact point in the squash backhand stroke and at the impact point in the racquetball backhand stroke. For the final conclusion, for the squash backhand stoke, instructors might be better to make the racket move downward to make highest velocity before the impact and finished short follow-through, while for the racquetball backhand stroke, to make the racket move forward to make highest velocity at the impact and finished rather long follow-through.
The importance of classes aiming at enhancing students ability in problem solving and decision making has been being recognized as chances of individual citizen for taking part in social decision making processes. This study was intended to find whether teachers' opinion presentation have effects on students' decision making in a class introducing environmental issues. Total of 6 classes, 202 middle school students have participated in a series of experiments including 4 different environmental issues. Only two issues had been addresses in classes as experimental issues and other two issues not addressed as control issues. For each of the two experimental issues, the teacher researcher applied three different approaches to his students that included positive, negative, or no opinion. The results of this study can be summarized as follows; First, the results showed that students changed their decisions on environmental issues more frequently when dealing with those issues in a class than when not dealing with them. Second, as examining the relationship between patterns in which students make decisions and whether a teacher proposed his opinions or not, it is shown that the rates of students whose opinions is not changed nearly have no difference, while when teachers propose their opinions, it is shown that students who haven't yet chosen their positions easily make their decisions into pros or cons, compared with the opposite case. Third, the results of this study partly supported the third hypothesis that teachers opinion presentation would effect on decision-making of students. It was found that there has been a significant effect in the case of car free day system issue, but no statistically meaningful result in the case of no pets in the national park issue. However, in the issue of car free day system, it seems pretty clear that the students followed the direction of teachers' opinion no matter what it was pros or cons.
