항만물류조직구성원들의 보안능력에 영향을 미치는 요인 (Factors Affecting the Security Ability of Port Logistics Organization Members)

  • 현재 항만물류보안과 관련한 노력이 활발하게 일어나고 있지만 항만정보기술과 관련된 보안에 대해서는 인식과 교육, 제도 등이 부족한 상황이다. 상호인증 협약 수립을 통해 항만물류보안 정보를 실시간으로 교환 할 수 있는 통합 네트워크를 구축할 필요성이 있다. 항만경쟁력 확보 및 물류 서비스 강화를 목적으로 물류보안을 위한 국가 전략수립이 중요하다. 무엇보다 시급히 필요한 것은 항만물류조직구성원 들의 보안의식을 높이고 항만물류조직의 중요한 특성인 정보 보안 능력을 향상시키는 것이다. 따라서 본 연구는 항만물류조직구성원들의 정보보안능력에 영향을 미치는 요인을 분석하였다. 분석결과 보안규범이 보안인식에 영향을 미친다는 가설은 기각되었지만 보안활동과 보안인식 간의 관련성은 유의한 것으로 나타났다. 또한 보안규범과 보안능력 간의 관계, 보안인식과 보안능력 간의 관계에도 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 결과로 나타났다.

인천항 물류애로요인 분석에 관한 연구;컨테이너 화물을 중심으로 (A Study on Analyzing Bottlenecks of Logistics in Incheon Port;Focused on Container Freight)

  • As the current trend to the main index of the port competitiveness evaluation, the competitiveness index of the port service comes to more important than the part of expense, location and facility. To reform the bottleneck of port has an effect on improving port service competitiveness. Therefore, this study shows the importance of analyzing bottlenecks on logistics to improve port competitiveness. It collected recent questionnaire data which are the subject as the Custom Service, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Trade Association about bottlenecks of port logistics for working out bottlenecks of domestic port logistics and it produced the order of priorities of bottlenecks by multiplying each output priorities and weights of each process in user of Incheon inner-outer port which is focused on container freight by analysis of priority and Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP). Unlike existing studies, this study has important values. It presents the priority evaluation only focused on the container freight was produced by port users who are categorized into shipping company, terminal operation company and forwarder, car-ferry in Incheon inner-outer port and making a application of logistics process. It means internal and external competitiveness improvement plan can be presented more concretely and detailed than past competitiveness attributes such as location, facility, service and expense. If the analysis of port logistics bottlenecks which was focused on container freight is extended to the part of general cargo and sundries such as haul grain, car, scrap iron, those studies will be able to provide Incheon port users with useful information and a model of analyzing overall bottleneck of logistics in Incheon port.

  • The paper draws the scales of supply and shortages of port logistics area's human resources based upon the future prospect of its supply and demand. Due to the problems that we face today with human resources training and inequality between the levels of demand and supply, introduction of a new training system by local universities and their overall improvement are brought up as the needs of the times. In order for these to happen, the local universities need to assure originality by specializing Port Logistics area. They need to develop demand-oriented port logistics education programs through establishment of cooperation among the universities, as well as expand qualitative and quantitative improvement their educational programs. In addition the local universities have to act as the central of nurturing local talents by developing an educational-governmental cooperation, leading port & logistics' educational policy as think-tank and producting ready-to-work talent.

A Study on the Activation Plan of Busan Port (Focused on northeast feeder network service cost, From LA to China and Japan)

  • The purpose of this research is to suggest the activation plan of Busan port. In the past years, Busan port enjoyed the golden days because of the China's rapid economic growth. But China's continuous development of ports, the trend of increasing container ship size and increasing direct call to China are coming threats to Busan port. So Korea needs to revise the 'Northeast Logistics Hub' strategy because it is considered that Korea ports continuously will handle China's transshipment cargoes. But now China's transshipment cargo share has decreased by direct call to China ports. It means that China has a lot of its local cargoes, so many ship companies change liner service route to handle China cargoes except Bussan ports although Busan port is included in the main trunk route. In the future, Bussan port will not be able to compete again about throughput with China ports if Busan port's transshipment cargo share decreases. So we must find out and develop Busan port's strength which is the competitive edge. By good luck, Busan port has a few opportunities such as the developed feeder network service and geographical advantages. Busan port has many feeder network service like spider's web in any northeast countries so we can suggest that if Japanese shippers use Busan port to distribute their cargoes to Japanese local areas, its transport costs are cheaper than when they use Japan's main ports. In this paper analyzed side of cost when they use Bussan port like hub to distribute their cargo to their local areas. Because most companies tried to reduce the total cost about logistics. Finally, this paper suggests when northeast shippers(China, Japan) use Bussan port which is more economical than their local main ports.

항만의 경쟁력제고를 위한 벤치마킹기법 적용에 관한 연구 (An Application of Benchmarking Method to Improve Port's Competitiveness)

  • Across many industries, benchmarking is considered useful method to improve their service quality and achieve competitive advantage. Benchmarking, especially, has emerged as an increasingly important approach to improving the performance of logistics system and enables successful logistics services and doing good business in logistics services. There are no, however, literature approach for the relationship between benchmarking and port. It is the highest worth researching the application of benchmarking method on the port, since port is the most important component in supply Chain. Therefore, this paper tries to demonstrate the application of the benchmarking method on the port. To do this study, the literature approach developed by several researchers for logistics benchmarking is used as the basic framework. In addition, the following studies are executed: First, the survey of previous studies on logistics benchmarking. Second, finding the indicator and selecting the target in the port benchmarking. Third, the systematic execution schemes of the port benchmarking. Finally, based on the above studies, this paper provides a background for discussions on the future prospects for the application of the benchmarking method on the port.

일본 환적화물 유치를 통한 부산항 활성화 방안에 관한 연구 (A Study on Busan Port Activation by Attracting Transshipment Containers to and from Japan)

  • 중국경제의 급성장으로 인하여 아시아 물류수요가 급격히 증가하고 있다. 따라서 각 국은 이러한 수요를 유치하기 위한 항만개발에 전력을 투구하고 있다. 우리나라도 부산항${\cdot}$광양항을 중심으로 환적항, 나아가서 동북아 물류 중심국가가 되기 위한 여건을 마련하고, 적극적으로 항만마케팅에 나서기 시작했다. 최근 일본은 물류비용의 증대로 항만경쟁력이 감소하여 그에 대한 다양한 방안을 강구하고 있다. 이러한 일본의 침체환경을 기회로 활용하여 부산항${\cdot}$광양항의 활성화로 연계할 수 있는 노력이 필요하다. 따라서 본 연구는 일본의 수출입화물의 배송루트를 유형별 즉 기존의 일본 주요 항을 이용하는 경우와 부산항${\cdot}$광양항을 이용하는 경우로 구분하여 소요되는 물류비용을 산정하였다. 그 결과 부산항${\cdot}$광양항을 경유하는 경우가 훨씬 큰 물류비용의 절감효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다.

Who are the Beneficiaries and Stakeholders of Blockchain Commercialization in the Shipping Industry?

  • In the field of logistics, the maritime shipping industry plays a critical role as the backbone of global trade activities. Nevertheless, previous studies on the commercialization and benefits of blockchain technology are limited in the field of marine logistics. Thus, the purpose of this study was to predict the benefit for each group involved in marine logistics when blockchain technology is applied. As such, 21 factors of benefits were selected for seven major logistics groups (financial institutions, freight forwarders, inland transportation, ocean carriers, port operators, port-related government authorities, and shippers) to study the benefit expected for each through the commercialization of blockchain technology. Based on the results, a different benefit level is expected for each group when blockchain technology is used. In order, ocean carriers (0.155), inland transportation (0.150), financial institutions (0.153), port operators (0.145), freight forwarders (0.142), port-related government authorities (0.129), and shippers (0.126) were found to benefit most from the use of blockchain technology. This study has industrial implications in that it presents the benefits expected when blockchain technology is realized and used in marine logistics by groups involved in logistics transactions.

물류네트워크 구축을 통한 전남권 항만물류 활성화 방안 (A Plan to Promote Jeonnam Region's Port Logistics through Establishment of a Logistics Network)

  • 본 논문은 점차 국제경쟁력을 갖추어 가고 있는 광양항을 전남지역의 국제물류거점으로 하여 전남권의 목포항, 여수항, 완도항, 등의 항만물류, 무안국제공항의 항공물류, 그리고 장성의 복합화물터미널인 내륙화물기지의 연계를 통하여 효과적인 물류네트워크를 구축하여 이를 통해 전남지역의 물류산업을 활성화 방안을 살펴보았다. 전남의 물류거점인 광양항, 장성복합화물터미널, 목포항, 무안국제공항을 연계하여 체계적인 지역혁신계획을 수립하여 지역혁신주체 및 산업혁신의 역량을 강화하고 지역산업을 활성화하는 방안을 모색하여 전남 U-물류체계 구축을 위한 RFID/USN 기반의 종합물류관리시스템을 구축하여야 한다. 또한 3각 물류거점인을 연계하는 교통망의 추진과 관련하여 광주시내 및 인근에 산재해 있는 중소형 수출입 물류거점을 조기통합추진이 필요하며 국제공항인 무안공항을 중심공항으로 육성하기 위한 방안을 설정하고 항공화물 처리를 위한 화물터미널의 기능을 강화하여야 한다.

  • This study intends to surveyrequirements for port and logistics supply chain management with RFID {Radio Frequency IDentification)technology. Port and logistics supply chain management has become a critical issue due to the necessity of efficiency, visibility, trace-ability, etc. Since the introduction of RFID technology, its performance, reliability, validity, and safety have been a concern in most industries. Particularly, in port and logistics supply chain management, RFID has the potential to track the movement of containers and to provide in-transit visibility toward customers. In thispaper we consider some critical issues related to port and logistics supply chain management, which previously adopted RFID technology. In order to successfully design and adopt RFID technology and utilize it as optimally as is possible in the port and logistics industry, it is necessary to understand the potential of shipping companies and their requirements in adopting RFID technology in port and logistics.

인천항의 물류네트워크 경쟁력 분석에 관한 연구 (A study on Competitiveness Analysis of Incheon Port Logistics Network)

  • 본 연구는 선행연구와 전문가 인터뷰를 통하여 항만물류네트워크가 제공하는 서비스 경쟁력의 주요속성들을 추출하고, 이 속성들을 토대로 인천항의 경쟁력 변화에 따른 파급효과를 분석하였다. 연구결과 항만물류네트워크가 제공하는 서비스는 시설편의, 접근편의, 결정편의로 구분됨을 확인하였고, 항만간 물류네트워크 경쟁력 통합평가치의 결과에서는 부산항>청도항>천진항>대련항>인천항 순으로 경쟁력 차이를 보였다. 특히 시나리오 분석 결과 인천항의 물류네트워크 경쟁력은 대련항에도 크게 못 미치는 결과를 보여 전반적인 물류네트워크 서비스 증대가 불가피한 것으로 나타났다. 퍼지역평가를 통해 분석한 결과 인천항은 물류네트워크가 제공하는 서비스 수준을 시설편의 25%, 접근편의 8%, 결정편의 1%를 상승시킴으로써 대련항과 대등한 경쟁력 수준을 유지할 수 있었다.
