So the occupants who answered the survey lived in the permanent rental housing which were constructed by Busan Metropolitan Corporation. The purpose of the study is to give suggestions which can make up for dissatisfaction and apply preference of occupants based on the results of the research. The result of this study is in following; there were few significant managerial variables determinants of residential satisfaction. And significant variables are; position of rooms and bathroom facilities in internal building characteristics, color of apartment and playground in exterior building characteristics, commuting distance and viewshaft in locational characteristics. • The area covered by product liability in broadest sense is so vast that an attempt to analyse all its impact on the aviation world risk. Every effort has been made to confine our review of subject a closely as possible to its influence on aircraft manufacturers, airlines and passengers, in spite of strong connections with other spheres of commercial. Product Liability in aviation is the liability of aircraft's manufacturer, processor or non-manufacturing seller for injury to the person or property of a buyer or third party caused by a product which has been sold. Here-in a product is aircraft, third party is passengers who suffered damage by defective design, defective construction, inadequate instructions for handling in aircraft. Whenever a product turns out to be defective after it has been sold, there are under Anglo-American law three remedies available against the aircraft's manufacturer (1) liability for negligence (2) breach of warranty (3) strict liability in tort. There are Under continental law Three remedies available against the aircraft's manufacturer (1) liability for defective warranty (2) liability for non-fulfillment of obligation (3) liability in tort. It is worth pointing out here an action for breach of warranty or for defective warranty, for non-fulfillment of obligation is available only to direct purchaser on the basis of his contract with the aircraft's manufacturer, which of course weakness its range and effectiveness. An action for tort offers the advantage of being available also to third parties who have acquired the defective product at a later stage. In tort, obligations are constituted not only by contract, but also by stature and common law. In conclusion, There in no difference in principle of law. In conclusion I would like to make few suggestions regarding the product liability for aircraft's manufacturer. Firstly, current general product liability code does not specify whether government offices(e.g. FAA) inspector conducted the inspection and auditory certificate can qualify as conclusive legal evidence. These need to be clarified. Secondly, because Korea is gaining potential of becoming aircraft's manufacturer through co-manufacturing and subcontracting-manufacturing with the US and independent production, there needs legislation that can harmonize the protection of both aircraft's manufacturers and their injured parties. Since Korea is in primary stage of aviation industry, considerate policy cannot be overlooked for its protection and promotion. Thirdly, because aircraft manufacturers are risking restitution like air-carriers whose scope of restitution have widened to strict and unlimited liability, there needs importation of mandatory liability insurance and national warranty into the product liability for aircraft's manufacturers. Fourthly, there needs domestic legislation of air transportation law that clearly regulates overall legal relationship in air transportation such as carrier & aircraft manufacturer's liability, and aviation insurance.

  • In line with the government's policies for localization, furniture industry in the northern area in Gyeoggi-province at presence has been operated by several furniture industrial complexes in the region in small scale, but now it should be considered from overall view of furniture industry in order to develop more competitive industry. As a matter of this fact, Gyeonggi-province should be engaged in planning to make various industrial clusters of the furniture-related industry based on the northern area of province at structural as well as politic aspects, with the help of the analyzed status of the current furniture industry in region, in supporting them by the systemized policies and developing the overall program to foster furniture as an international-competitive industry. Therefore this study suggested 'furniture industry center' which will exclusively handle and maintain the network of each furniture company in the northern area of Gyeonggi-province and 'high-tech furniture industry complex' to keep pace with the globalization and to be competitive internationally and also 'common brand business' for the cooperation at technical phase. In order to realize and vitalize such suggestions, it is urgently necessary that the network consists of the furniture companies and the expert of the related department in local universities as the main body for furniture industry, of course Gyeonggi-province as well.

The Purpose in this study is the application of appropriate count data model. The count data models have been widely applied to the economic area from the middle of the 1980s and to transportation aspect mainly in the foreign countries from the latter half of the 1980s. Even though a few studies in this country employed count data model to count data. all of them were Poisson regression models without suitable tests for the importance of the model specification. In the end, as the result of statistical test, negative binomial regression model which is suitable for overdispersed data was found to be appropriate for the data of weekly bus ridership. To emphasize the importance of model specification, both of poisson regression model and negative binomial regression model were estimated and the results were compared.

  • Due to the rapid process of industrialization the cities of Korea confront changes of climate, destructions of the habitate and decrease of the green. Recently Seoul and other local governments have implemented policies and projects to improve the environmental surroundings. In reality, however, those policies and projects face difficulties in the course of implementation. The fact that there are no concrete regulations and specific legal procedures turns out to be one of the main difficulties. The aim of this study is to present specific plans and methods of wall-planting and to provide basic guidelines for the future direction of wall-planting and offer ideas of facilitating wall-planting. This study is based on questionnaires from specialists of landscape architecture through individual interviews and/or e-mails. The questionnaire is consisted of following 4 sections. 1. Show the experts current regulations and/or legal procedures and ask them improvements and suggestions. 2. Ask them choose matters of the highest priority by using Ricardo's diagram method. 3. Ask them to make a graded list in terms of the location and method of wall-planting. 4. Study the maketability of the wall-planting products currently in circulation. The city of Seoul and the Ministry of Environment recommend that trellis and/or planting inducement structures be installed on the building wall by regulation. The specialists responded to the questionnaire advocate that green wall without trellis should be allowed as green zone. Therefore regulations concerning the wall-planting should be determined specifically according to the characteristics of individual plants and walls. It has been urged that legal aid and social support must be reinforced to establish rules dealing with wall-planting. The respondents also point out that significant cutting down of the tax is far more effective in accelerating the wall-green instead of administrative support. The highest priority in terms of planting has been given to sound-proof wall, retaining wall and building wall. Concerning the maketability of the wall-planting products, panel products are recommended for early-planting and building planting. It has been suggested that the research and study of new materials and species be done in advance.

  • This study aims to analyze data management policies offered by 15 government funding agencies in the U.S., UK, Canada, and Australia, and to make recommendations for developing data management policies in Korea. For the analysis of data management policies, five criteria were suggested based on literature review as follows: 1) the definition of research data, 2) principles of data management, 3) data management plan, 4) the implementation of data management, 5) legal and ethical issues. It was found that there was no policy that covers all the criteria for the analysis. Several funding agencies, however, commonly dealt with each criteria in their data management policies. Based on the findings from the analysis, this study made the following suggestions: First, data policies provide definitions and types of research data based on the understanding of data creation in the fields of funding interests. Second, data policies include principles of data management applicable to data practices in Korea. Third, data policies implement data management plans to promote responsibility of researchers for managing data. Fourth, data policies specify data management implementations to facilitate and support data sharing practices. Fifth, data policies should minimize legal and ethical challenges in data sharing through the review of the applicability of related laws and regulations and their improvement.
