Many areas are on the verge of disappearing soon due to low birth rates and an increasing number of elderly people. To overcome this crisis, efforts must be made to escape the destruction of the area through the village community. This study was conducted to find out the use of online platforms for village communities and through literature research, current status surveys, and surveys, we wanted to find out how online platforms are being utilized. The study results are summarized as follows. First, urban renewal support projects are currently being conducted under the government-led initiative to revitalize the village community, and online platforms are being used mainly by local governments' urban renewal support centers. Second, if you look at the frequency of online platform usage by ordinary people, you are using Naver the most in all age groups, and next, you are using the website. People in their 20s and 30s use Instagram more than Facebook, while those in their 40s and 50s use Facebook more than Instagram. In utilizing the online platform for the village community, the status and frequency of use of the online platform should be taken into account comprehensively.

Objectives: Chemicals derived from various environment media contaminates food across the food supply chain. In Korea, levels of contaminants in food have been sporadically measured by monitoring programs of different government agencies. There is difficulty with data compilation and integrated analysis across media. Therefore, the aim of this study was to propose an overall integrated database and analytical platform design for the 'ECO-FOOD NET (Environmental COntaminant reduction platform for FOOD through an interagency collaboration NETwork)', a tool to support the reduction of environmental contaminants in food. Methods: We developed a new data structure and standardized protocols for the compilation of integrated data. In addition, we conducted subject-oriented logical and physical relational database modeling and created the architecture design of the platform. Results: We established a standardized code system related to exposure media and route, analysis method and food matrix. In addition, we designed the seven software modules of 'About the System', 'Introduction to Interagency Work', 'Media-Chemicals Profiles', 'Method Bank', 'Monitoring Data Base', 'Integrated Media Analysis', and 'Risk-Benefit Analysis'. Conclusions: This study will contribute to decision-making as a tool for executing risk management, such as sustainable reduction policies of contaminants in food.

Much attention is being paid to social media because of their potentials to draw collective intelligence. In this context does this study attempt to draw some implications of social media as knowledge creation platform and suggest a conceptual framework of social media management. Information sharing among the public through social media literally produces profound influence throughout the society and thus not only business firms but all levels of public institutions, including government are seeking to take its advantage for various purposes such as public relations, crowd sourcing, etc. Especially considering that social media open the possibility of social knowledge creation platform in the Big Data era, this study is perhaps able to contribute to further development of social media management model together with a series of measuring indexes.

The purpose of this study is to propose the performance measurement model for open big data platform. In order to develop the performance measurement model, we have integrated big data reference architecture(NIST 2018) with performance prism model(Neely et al. 2001) in the platform perspective of open big data. Our proposed model consists of five key building blocks for measuring performance of open data platform as follows: stakeholder contribution, big data governance capabilities, big data service capabilities, big data IT capabilities, and stakeholder satisfaction. In addition, our proposed model have twenty four evaluation indices and seventy five measurement items. We believe that our model could offer both research and practical implications for relevant research.

Research data means data used or created in the course of research or experiments. Research data is very important for validation of research conducted and for use in future research and projects. Recently, convergence research between various fields and international cooperation has been continuously done due to the explosive increase of research data and the increase in the complexity of science and technology. Developed countries are actively promoting open science policies that share research results and processes to create new knowledge and values through convergence research. Communities to promote the sharing and utilization of research data such as RDA (Research Data Alliance) and COAR (Confederation of Open Access Repositories) are active, and various platforms for managing and sharing research data are being developed and used. OpenAIRE (Open Access Infrastructure for Research In Europe), a research data platform in Europe, ARDC (Australian Research Data Commons) in Australia, and IRDB (Institutional Repositories DataBase) in Japan provide research data or research data related services. Korea has been establishing and implementing a research data sharing and utilization strategy to promote the sharing and utilization of research data at the national level, led by the central government. Based on this strategy, KISTI has been building a Korean research data platform (DataON) since 2018, and has been providing research data sharing and utilization services to users since January 2020. This paper reviews the characteristics of DataON and how it is used for research by showing its applications.

Start-up support policy is expanding for the activation of creative economy. Domestic start-up is activated in early 2000, but is shrinked rapidly because there is not enough collaborative system of R&D, start-up, finance, and management support. Many organizations and collaborative environment in Silicon valley of USA is developed for long time. In Korea, creative economy is constructing rapidly led by government like building industrialization and information society. VCDP(Virtual Cluster-type Dynamic Collaboration Platform) is a good tool for the start-up support policy. This study explains the necessity and effectiveness of VCDP and suggests creative activation policy using this tool.

According to the public open data policy, the government established the demanders-oriented and customized open data plan and allowed people to use plenty of public data free. There are, however, few geospatial information systems to maximize its usability. For the purpose to make the effective geospatial information services, this study examined how data was linked between the public data portal and open platform first. And then this proposed the interface server model to support the data link between these systems technically.

The Republic of Korea developed a national project to construct a new administrative capital, Sejong city and to relocate administrative organizations of the central government for improvement of overpopulated capital, Seoul and regional balanced development. By the way, to relocate the central administrative organizations was not a sufficient condition for the sustainable development of the city. An industrial infrastructure development has been tried to attract universities, enterprises and research institutions in the region as a demand for internal growth power of the city was increased. In addtion, a basis for regional endogenous growth through projects to establish innovation system based on industry-academia cooperation was prepared as well. This paper reviews the major contents of the development plans for Tech-Valley project and looks into major introductory functions, characterization plans, strategies for fostering strategic industry, cooperation system of the inside and outside the region, and a strategy for building innovation platform. This case can be regarded as a significance of constructing technology infrastructure for the sustainable growth by preparing foundation for establishing innovation system and a cluster based on this system in the process of building and developing new city which did not have any industrial platform in the region.

An analysis of Airbnb and Kozaza will show how valuable and rare resource can have an impact on company performances. Airbnb applied the sharing economy platform, and this business model had disrupted the hospitality industry. Thus, this paper will investigate a Korean company called Kozaza which had benchmarked Airbnb. Furthermore, it will apply the theory of VRIO framework, which consists of how valuable, rare, costly to imitate (imitability), and organization (exploited by the organization) to find competitiveness of Kozaza in the hospitality industry. Thus, it will attempt to show that Kozaza's business model of utilizing the unused resource of Hanok (traditional Korean house) and partnerships with Hanokstay, Seoul Metropolitan Government and Soul Tourism Organization and others have enhanced their resource and capability to strengthen their business model. Furthermore, this research will explore how Kozaza can competitively be successful in the future.

Korean government announced long-term railway safety investment plan for the safety improvement by 2020. But no research have been done about differential analysis on railroad safety investment and safety improvement. In this study, recent 10 year data on safety investments and accident data are analysed for the differential analysis. Three main safety investments are analysed on regard to accident rate and accident fatalities. Three safety measures include level crossing accident, platform fatalities, and track trespass fatalities. About 90% of railway accident fatalities are caused by these three kind of accidents. Differential analysis shows about 4 to 6 years delay after railroad safety investment and safety improvement. This result can be utilized for the decision making on safety measures and safety target. Which required long term approach.
