Effect of yohimbine, a specific antagonist for presynaptic adrenoceptor, on the renal action of clonidine, a specific presynaptic adrenoceptor agonist, was investigated in dog. Clonidine, when given intravenously, produced diuretic action accompanied with augmentation of osmolar and free water clearance (Cosm and 4C_{H_2O}$), and elicited the increase of amounts of sodium and potassium excreted in urine ($E_{Na}\; and\; E_k$). These actions of clonidine were inhibited by yohimbine either injected intravenously or infused into a renal artery. Clonidine, when infused into a renal artery, produced antidiuretic action accompanied with decreased of glomerular filtration rate (GFR) and renal plasma flow (RPF), and exhibited the reduced amounts of sodium and potassium in urine. These actions of clonidine injected into a renal artery were blocked by yohimbine administered either into vein or into a renal artery. Above results suggest that yohimbine block the renal action of clonidine only in central system, do not in kidney.

종래의 흑연 위주 연료전지 분리판 개발되어 최근 고분자 전해질 막 연료전지가 높은 전력, 낮은 배기 가스 배출, 낮은 작동 온도로 자동차 산업에서 상당한 주목을 받고 있다. 요구사항은 높은 전기 전도도, 높은 내식성, 낮은 가스 투과성, 낮은 무게, 쉬운 가공, 낮은 제조비용이다. Thin film Cr 장비로 저항가열 furnace, sputter 등이 사용된다. 연료전지 분리판의 고전도도, 내부식성 보호막의 고속 증착을 위한 새로운 증착원으로 스퍼터 - 승화형 소스의 가능성을 유도 결합 플라즈마에 금속 봉을 직류 바이어스 함으로써 시도하였다. 유도 결합 플라즈마를 이용하여 승화증착 시스템을 사용하여 OES(SQ-2000)와 QMS (CPM-300)를 사용하여 $N_2$ flow에 따른 유도 결합 플라즈마를 이용한 스퍼터-승화 증착 시스템을 사용하여도 균일한 공정을 하는 것을 확인 하였다.

In this study, off-axis RF magnetron sputtering was used for the crystallized ITO thin films at a low temperature of about $120^{\circ}C$ instead of the conventional RF sputtering because the off-axis sputtering can avoid the damage for the plasma as well as fabrication of thin films with a high quality. The structural, optical and electrical properties of the obtained films depending on deposition parameters, such as sputtering power, gas flow and working pressure, have been investigated. The ITO thin films grown on PET substrate at $120^{\circ}C$ were crystallized with a (222) preferred orientation. 100-nm thick ITO films showed a resistivity of about $4.2{\times}10^{-4}{\Omega}-cm$ and a transmittance of about 81% at a wavelength of 550nm. The transmittance of the ITO thin films by an insertion of $SiO_2$ thin films on ITO films was improved.

A study on the diuretic action of Siegesbeckiae herba in dogs was made using a clearance technique with ethanol extract. Siegesbeckiae herba ethanol extract (SGEE) administered intravenously in doses 6.0 and 60.0mg/kg elicited diuresis and an increase in sodium and potassium excretion, and it simultaneously produced a decrease in the reabsorption rate of sodium and potassium in renal tubules. Neither renal plasma flow nor glomerular filtration rate changed significantly. SGEE, when infused directly into a renal artery in doses of 0.5 and 1.5mg/kg min, exhibited identical results to the intravenous responses confined only to the infused kidney. The above observations lead to the suggestion that SGEE elicits diuresis in dogs by decreasing the reabsorption rates of sodium and potassium in renal tubles.

This detailed study of electrical, crystallographic and optical properties in Al doped ZnO thin films prepared by Facing Targets Sputtering(FTS), where strong internal magnets were contained in target holders to confine the plasma between the targets is described. Optimal transmittance and resistivity was obtained by controlling flow ratio of O$_2$gas. When the O$_2$ gas ratio of 0.25 and substrate temperature R.T., ZnO:Al thin film deposited had strongly oriented c-axis and the lower resistivity ( <10$\^$-4/ $\Omega$cm). The optical transmittance was above 80% in visible range.

In this experiment, an attempt to use the sludge pellets as catalyst for NO removal from simulated gas is experimentally investigated by using cylinder type reactor and packed-bed reactor. An experimental investigation has been conducted for NO concentration of 50[ppm], 100[ppm], 200[ppm] balanced with air, a gas flow rate of 5[1/min]. Ac voltage to discharge the gases was supplied. In the result, NOx removal rate in packed bed reactor is higher than that in cylinder type reactor. it is thought that plasma density in contact point of BaTiO$_3$ is significantly higher than that in cylinder reactor.

Amorphous silicon films were deposited on glass, [100] single crystal silicon wafer with thermally grown silicon dioxide, and [100] silicon wafer substrates by Plasma Enhanced Chemical Vapor Deposition(with argon diluted silane source gas). Growth rate, UV optical band edge, and the hydrogen quantity in the amorphous silicon films have been investigated as a function of the preparation conditions by measuring film thickness, UV-absorbency, and FT-IR transmittance. The growth rate of the ${\alpha}$-Si:H films increases with increasing substrate temperture, flow rate and R.F. power density. The UV optical band edge shifts to blue with the increases in the deposition pressure. Increasing substrate temperature shifts the UV optical band edge of the films to red. Hydrogen quantity in the ${\alpha}$-Si:H films increases with an increases in the R.F. powr and decreases with an increase in the substrate temperature.

Dry etch characteristics of polysilicon with HBr/O$_2$ inductively coupled plasma (ICP) have been investigated. We determined etch late, uniformity, etch profiles, and selectivity with analyzing the cross-sectional scanning electron microscopy images obtained from top, center, bottom, right, and left positions. The etch rate of polysilicon was about 2500 $\AA$/min, which meets with the mass production for devices. The wafer level etch uniformity was within $\pm$5 ％. Etch profile showed 90$^{\circ}$ slopes without notches. The selectivity over photoresist was between 2:1∼4.5:1, depending on $O_2$ flow rate. The HBr-ICP etching showed higher PR selectivity, and sharper profile than the conventional Cl$_2$-RIE.

The effectiveness of silicon nitride SiNx surface passivation is investigated and quantified. This study adopted single-layer antireflection (SLAR) coating of SiNx for efficiency improvement of solar cell. The silicon nitride films were deposited by means of plasma enhanced chemical vapor deposition (PECVD) in planar coil reactor. The process gases used were pure ammonia and a mixture of silane and helium. The thickness and the refractive index on the films were measured by ellipsometry and chemical bonds were determined by using an FT-IR equipment. This films obtained were analyzed in term of hydrogen content, refractive index for gas flow ratio $(NH_3/SiH_4)$, and efficiency of solar cell. The polycrystalline silicon solar cells passivated by silicon nitride shows efficiency above 12.8%.

Mume Fructus extract is used in folk medicine in Eastern Asian countries including Korea. However, its therapeutic effect on thrombosis is not known. Mume Fructus methanol extract (ME) dose-dependently inhibited ADP-induced platelet aggregation and also exhibited about 130% fibrinolytic activity compared to the natto. Oral administration of ME to mice significantly extended tail-bleeding time. ME prolonged both aPTT and PT in human citrated plasma also. These results suggest that the methanol extract from Mume Fructus have antithrombosis activity.
