데이터마이닝을 이용한 수주생산시스템의 공정계획방안 (Process Planning Method under Make-to-Order Production System using Data Mining)

  • The manufacturing industry with Make-to-Order production system is difficult to decide the standard information for the product and the demand is variable to estimate. In this paper, we concerned with the process planning method using data mining in the manufacturing industry with Make-to-Order environment. The subject of our study is the industry transformer plant which is received an diverse order of customer and then produced the product. Currently, process planning method is classified the standard information by hand based on the acquired knowledge through the experience. The standard information stored the various information, such as work sequence, time and so on. This process planning method needs an experts which possesses the field experience for several years. For the product specification which is varied in each order, current process planning method is not efficient due to need many times To solve this problem, we extract the information using data mining process for each processing time, and then construct the knowledge base. We propose a method which is the process planning of the industry transformer product in Make-to-Order environment using the knowledge base.

  • This paper describes some research of Computer-Aided Process Planning and Die Design of Hot Forging for axisymmetric parts produced by the press. An approach to the system is based on knowledge based system. The system has been written in AutoLisp with personal computer. Knowledges for process planning & die design are extracted from the plasticity theories, handbooks, relevent references and empirical know-how of field experts in hot forging companies. The developed system is composed of five main modules, such as input module, process planning module, die design module, flow simulation module and output module which are used independently or in all. The final output is generated in graphic from. The developed system which aids designer provides powerful capabilities for process planning and die design of hot forging. This system also provides approximate flow pattern.

  • Generating NC-code from 3D part model needs a lot of effort to make many decisions, including machining area, tool change data, tool data, cutting condition, etc., by using either manual or computer aided method. This effort can be reduced by integration of automated process planning and NC-code generation. In case of generating NC code with a help of the process planning system, many data mentioned from the process planning can be used. It means that we can create NC-code about a full part. In this study, integration of FAPPS(Feature based Automatic Process Planning) with a NC-code generating module is described and additional data to adapt NC-code for machine shop is discussed.

  • This research describes some developments of computer-aided process planning and die design for hot forging products of H-shaped plane strain produced by the press. The system is composed of three main modules(process planning module, die design module and simulation module) which are used independently or in all. Systm capabilities include as follows: 1. In die design module, using the results of process planning module, the shape and size of bolcker and finish die in each operation are determined and the ouput id generated in graphic form for manufacturing drawing. 3. In simulation module, the flow pattern of workpiece and the load/stroke curve are approximately predicted. Design rules for process planning and die design are extracted from plasticity theories, handbooks, relevant references and empirical know-how of field experts in hot forging companies. The developed system provides poweful capabilities for process planning and die design of hot forging products.

  • 최근의 국내 건설시장은 시장 규모의 축소로 인해 과잉경쟁이 이루어지고 있으며 이에 기업들은 적극적인 수주산업인 기획제안형 주택사업 분야에 관심을 기울이고 있다. 기획제안형 사업에서 가장 중요한 단계는 사업성 여부를 판단하는 초기 기획단계로서 현재 각 기업들마다 기획업무 모델을 갖고 있으나 표준적인 모델이 제시되지 못하고 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 국내 기업의 기획업무 절차와 문제점파악에 의한 개선 방안을 바탕으로 개발형 주택사업 의 성공적 수행을 위한 전략적 기획업무 모델을 제안하려 한다

  • 본 연구의 목적은 첫째, 프로세스 기획 역량이 신제품 개발 성과에 미치는 영향을 검증하고자 한다. 특히, 프로세스 기획 역량이 개별적인 프로젝트의 성과가 아닌 제품군 전체의 성과에 미치는 영향력을 검증하였다. 둘째, 개발 역량 간 상호작용이 신제품 개발 성과에 미치는 영향을 살펴보았다. 본 연구는 국내 103개 제조기업으로부터 수집한 설문응답 분석에 기초하였다. 제품군 개발은 크게 두 가지 유형의 프로젝트 (플랫폼 및 파생제품 개발)으로 구분된다. 본 연구에서는 두 가지 프로젝트 유형 중, 제품군 성공의 중심적인 역할을 수행하는 플랫폼 제품을 중심으로 분석하였다. 본 연구결과 제품군의 기술적 성과 및 상업적 성과 향상을 위해 우수한 프로세스 기획 역량이 필요함을 보여준다. 또한 기술개발 역량은 기술적 성과에 직접적으로 유효한 영향을 미치지는 않지만, 프로세스 기획 역량과 상호작용을 통해 기술적 성과 향상에 영향을 미치는 것을 확인하였다.

  • To ensure competitiveness in the modem automotive market, process and material planning should be performed concurrently with new car developments. In automotive general assembly shops, thus, new business workflows and supporting environments are inevitable to reduce the manufacturing preparation time in developing a new car in the manner of concurrent and collaborative engineering. Since complete material planning for a whole general assembly system is a huge and complex job, several planners should execute their planning jobs and share information. Therefore, each planner should provide others with his/her results with continuous on-line communication and cooperation. In this research, a web-based system for concurrent and collaborative process and material planning for automotive general assembly via 3D digital mock-up S/W is developed. By using this system, savings in time and cost of process and material planning are possible, and the reliability of the planning result is improved.

  • This paper describes the process planning system of a computer-aided design of blanking and piercing for irregularly shaped sheet metal products. An approach to the system is based on knowledge-based rules. The process planning system is designed by considering several factors, such as the complexity of blank geometry, production feasibility of products, and punch profile complexity. Therefore this system which was implemented production feasibility check and strip layout module can carry out a process planning considering a production feasibility area of both internal and external features, a dimension of blanked hole, a coner and a fillet radius for irregualrly shaped sheet metal products and generate the strip layout in graphic froms. Knowledges for process planning are extracted from plasticity theories, handbooks, relevant references and empirical know- hows of experts in blanking companies. This provides powerful capabilities for process planning system of irregularly shaped sheet metal products.

  • This thesis reports the development of a Computer-Aided Process Planning system for rotational parts. The developed system ultimately generates process plans for rotational parts through a knowledge-base. The knowledge-base and decision-making algorithms are represented by Pascal computer programming language. We have developed a process planning system which adjusts the sequence of processes by itself to ensure the quality of the parts. This system generates more detailed job sequence and descriptions than other well-known process planning systems. We present realistic and efficient process plans through the integration of process planning and scheduling. This system optimizes flow time of parts by decreasing the number of machine set-ups.

  • According to the need for objectivity and convenience the whole planning process is devided into a secries of 8 systematic stages. But it is an unending upward spiral of incremented efforts toward improvement. So many activities should be carried out concurrently, providing a mutual supportive flow back and forth between various stages of the process depending on local conditions and requirements. The eight stages are: (1) Planning the Planning and Developing Planning Competence (2) Statements of Policy and Broad Goals (3) Data Gathering (4) Priority Statement (5) Statement of Major Alternative Proposals (6) Development of Detailed Plan (7) Implementation as a Part of the Planning Process (8) Evaluation The frame and function of the planning machinery must be adjusted to local conditions, and also flexibility is desirable, especially at the start, when adaptations are more necessary and more frequent.
