The Analysis of household Income and Expenditure For Family Economic Planning -for the Housewives in Busan- (장기 생활설계를 위한 가계 분석)

  • The purpose of this study is to establish the family economy planning in the side of economic welfare and to discuss its problems. Hypothesis testing and survey analysis whether nuclear family have been formed in the urban communities or not are investigated. Also, survey of family economic period are classified in the following manner. First, as the beginning of family, they are interested in savings, children's education and investment of an estate. Third, as the contracting period of family, they rely upon other's financial supports. Therefore, it is desirable for each family to establish family life cycle planning. As the results of hypothesis testing, 1) Nuclear family have been formed in urban communities. 2) The age of housewives is not concerned with whether their husband's parents live in the same house or not. 3)The age of housewives is not concerned with whether their parents lived with them or not. 4) The relationship between the age of housewives and monthly income is not significant. 5) The relationship between the age of housewives and monthly expenditure is significant. 6)The relationship between the age of housewives and monthly savings is not significant.

A Study on the Life Cycle Analysis of Domestic Tourist Areas (국내 관광지의 수명주기 분석 연구)

  • Korean tourist areas are designated/managed in accordance with the Tourism Promotion Act. Since Taejongdae was designated as a tourist area in 1969, a total of 230 tourist areas have been designated/built/operated. It has been 46 years since the first tourist area was designated. According to the Tourism Area Life Cycle by Butler, it is estimated that the flow of the life cycle will be reflected in ups and downs over time. Thus, this study aimed to provide basic data for suggesting the direction of changes and development of the future tourist areas after analyzing the life cycle stage of domestic tourist areas, by applying the Tourism Area Life Cycle by Butler. The research method was based on the tourist areas by year, the number of visitors, and data of the target to derive the change transition curve, obtained by dividing the life cycle stages of the tourist areas based on the visitor rate of change. In the analysis results, more than 1/3 of domestic tourist areas are reaching the stagnation/decline stage, and tourist areas such as hot springs and seaside/beach resources show a particularly high ratio of stagnation/decline. The tourist areas that already have reached the stagnation/decline stage will need to analyze the causes for the decline, seek for resolution measures, and introduce new innovative elements. Even though the results of this study are not sufficient to be used as an absolute standard to decide the life cycle stage of domestic tourist areas, it is considered to be adequate for phenomenologically understanding the life cycle stage of Korean tourist areas. Based on this study, the causes for the stagnation/decline of tourist areas can be revealed while it can be also used as basic research to establish revitalization measures for tourist areas by introducing new innovation.

  • In this study, we have analyzed the cost of korea high-speed rail project. The predicted cost in planning phase and adjustment data to 5th year are collected. Then, predicted cost is compared with adjustment in year/item/system base. We make a project history table for criteria to review project history and research & development activity. We have developed CBS(cost breakdown structure) and allocated adjustment data to them. It is shown that cost prediction related to research St development activity in planning phase is relatively correct.

Macro-level Methodology for Estimating Carbon Emissions, Energy Use, and Cost by Road Type and Road Life Cycle (도로 종류와 도로생애주기별 탄소배출량, 에너지소모량 및 비용에 대한 거시적 분석방법)

  • PURPOSES : The authors set out to estimate the related carbon emissions, energy use, and costs of the national freeways and highways in Korea. To achieve this goal, a macro-level methodology for estimating those amounts by road type, road structure type, and road life cycle was developed. METHODS : The carbon emissions, energy use, and costs associated with roads vary according to the road type, road structure type, and road life cycle. Therefore, in this study, the road type, road structure type, and road life cycle were classified into two or three categories based on criteria determined by the authors. The unit amounts of carbon emissions and energy use per unit road length by classification were estimated using data gathered from actual road samples. The unit amounts of cost per unit road length by classification were acquired from the standard cost values provided in the 2013 road business manual. The total carbon emissions, energy use, and cost of the national freeways and highways were calculated by multiplying the road length by the corresponding unit amounts. RESULTS: The total carbon emissions, energy use, and costs associated with the national freeways and highways in Korea were estimated by applying the estimated unit amounts and the developed method. CONCLUSIONS: The developed method can be employed in the road planning and design stage when decision makers need to consider the impact of road construction from an environmental and economic point of view.

  • As the research environment, such as Open Science, has recently changed, the scope of research support services conducted by university libraries is also expanding. In particular, there is a movement that needs to develop research support services of university libraries that are suitable for this through a clear understanding of the research life cycle centering on overseas. The purpose of this study is to provide suggestions that university libraries can refer to when developing research support services that can systematically support all phases of the research life cycle. To this end, the research life cycle was divided into five stages, "planning," "project," "publishing," "preservation" and "disseminating" and the research support services provided at each stage were examined around the cases of U.S. and domestic university libraries. Based on the implications obtained from the case, a service plan was proposed for domestic university libraries to systematically support each phase of the research life cycle.

  • As the prefecture railroad construction accelerates, unmanned system's reliability and safety is increasing in demand. Accordingly, effective management of construction projects for the PM and SE techniques are being applied, with the introduction and use of PMIS computerized systems. Due to the construction of railways, from the start of PMIS research planning, design, procurement, to construction and commissioning, various expertise is being carefully gathered, and by integrating it into the unified budget ideas and processes, rational, efficient, organized, and manageable financial plans are developed for the computerized system. However, the current PMIS does not take into account the life-cycle. This study is to bring attention to the BIM smart BOM-based configuration management for life-cycle through the consideration for railway construction project management.

  • This study is focusing on the needs to introduce policy decision making based on identification of the definition for 'business life cycle' and 'public enterprises' for proper public enterprises management. For this purpose, the study is planning to define categorical variables for enterprise life cycle and provide basic data for public enterprises management policy. This study explored 'Korea Expressway Corporation', 'K-water', 'Korea Railroad', 'Korea Land and Housing Corporations', because of they are the public institutions recently underwent 'management normalization policy' due to rapidly increasing debt. First, there follows the analysis on priority and standard of categorical variables for quasi-market oriented SOC public enterprise life cycle by using AHP and frequency study on expert survey. Next, this study investigated and analyzed the enterprises management plan for expected 'declining period' through forecasting 'declining period' by conducting 2nd expert survey.

  • The purpose of this study is to provide basic data for a desirable bathroom planning of apartments. This study explores the changes of the bathroom planning and analyzes the bathroom plans of the existing apartments. The collected data are 197 cases of the bathroom plans of the apartments (area:10-69 pyung) constructed in Kangnam Gu. Seoul between 1973-1993. where 47.624 households live. This study consists of an overview on the changes of the bathroom planning by the decade and findings on the bathrooms and dressing rooms of the present apartments. The numbers, location, size and proportion of the bathroom and dressing room and the direction of the bathroom door are examined in turn. For the better planning of the bathroom. factors like family size, life cycle, and manner of bathroom use should be analyzed in the future studies. The analysis of the bathroom plans of the apartments in the entire city of Seoul maybe a prerequisite to them.
