  • A planner have to consider many uncertain factors in best generation mix problem. To solve those problems, fuzzy theory is applied in this paper. Using fuzzy measure and Sugeno's fuzzy integral, the planner can choose the best alternative. By applying the proposed algorithm to KEPCO data, the validity of the proposed method is verified.

  • This paper presents a multi-robot path planner for environment exploration and monitoring. Robotics systems are being widely used as data measurement tools, especially in dangerous environment. For large scale environment monitoring, multiple robots are required in order to save time. The path planner should not only consider the collision avoidance but efficient coordination of robots for optimal measurements. Nonlinear spring force based planning algorithm is integrated with the spatial gradient following path planner. Perturbation/Correlation based estimation of spatial gradient is applied. An algorithm of tuning the stiffness for robot coordination is presented. The performance of the proposed algorithm is discussed with simulation results.

Screen Printed ZnBO Doped BST Thick Film Planner Capacitors (스크린 프린팅 기법으로 제작된 ZnBO가 첨가 (Ba,Sr)$TiO_3$ 후막의 planner capacitor 특성분석)

  • ZnBo이 첨가된 (Ba,Sr)$TiO_3$ 후막을 이용한 planner capacitor의 전기적 특성을 조사하였다. 후막은 알루미나 기판에 스크린 프린팅기법에 의해서 제작되었고 $1200^{\circ}C$의 온도에서 소결하였다. 출발 물질인 BST의 저온 소결을 위해서 ZnBO를 첨가하였다. ZnBO가 1, 3, 5 wt% 첨가된 경우 소결온도가 $1200^{\circ}C$의 낮은 온도에서 소결되는 것을 확인했으며 ZnBO의 첨가랑이 증가함에 따라서 유전율은 감소하고 유전손실는 증가 하는 현상이 나타났다. 1, 3, 5 wt%의 ZnBO가 첨가된 (Ba,Sr)$TiO_3$는 각각 756, 624, 554의 유전율를 보였다. 또한 ZnBO의 양이 증가함에 따라서 누설전류가 감소되는 것을 확인하였고, ZnBO의 첨가가 grain의 성장과 density가 증가되어 누설전류의 양이 감소하게 되는 것으로 분석되었다.

  • This paper presents a way to integrate a task planner with a plan executive for efficient control of intelligent robots. For this purpose, it first surveys several types of the existing task planners and plan executives. And then it introduces a new approach that combines a BDI-based executive with an on-demand task planner, and it explains a control architecture of intelligent robots based upon this integrating paradigm. Finally it analyzes the flexibility and robustness of both the proposed integrating paradigm and the control architecture through implementation of a demo system using AIBO robots.

  • High-Tech 산업은 국제적인 경쟁력과 갈수록 짧아지는 제품의 Life-cycle로 인해 그 경쟁이 매우 치열해 지고 있다. 따라서. 변동되는 시장 상황에 맞추어 자재의 구매/조달, 연구 개발, 생산, 물류/배송, 판매, 및 고객에 대한 납기 약속 등을 신속하고 정확하게 처리하기 위해 전 세계적으로 SCM(Supply Chain Management)관점에서 APS(Advanced Planning and Scheduling)시스템을 사영하고 있다. 특히, 고객으로부터 주문량이 할당되면 주어진 자재와 공장의 생산능력 (capacity)을 계산하여 생산가능 유무 및 생산가능일을 알려주는 공장내의 생산 계획 및 스케줄링 방법은 현재는 물론 앞으로도 지속적으로 발전시켜야 될 부분으로서 그 중요성이 점점 확대되고 있다. 따라서, 본 연구에서는 High-Tech 산업 중에서 전자 산업의 요구 사항을 분석하고, 이러한 요구 사항들을 해결하기 위래 세계적으로SCM 시장에서 가장 많은 경쟁력을 가지고 있는 i2 Technologies사의 생산 계획 및 스케줄링 툴인 Factory Planner를 사용한 사례를 제시한다.

  • In this paper, the path planner is presented for a robot to achieve an efficient path forward the given goal position in two dimensional environment which is involved with partially unknown obstacles. The path planner consists of three major components: off-line path planning, on-line path planning, and modification of planned path. Off-line path planning is based on known environment and creates the shortest path. On-line path planning is for finding unknown obstacles. The modification can be accomplished, by genetic algorithm, to be smooth path for preventing slippage and excessive centrifugal force.

  • In the motor manufacturing system with the properties of short delivery and order based production, the process plan is performed individually for each order by the expert of process plan after the completion of the detail design process to satisfy the specification to be required by customer. Also it is hard to establish the standard process plan in reality because part routings and operation times are varied for each order. Hence, the production planner has the problem that is hard to establish the production schedule releasing the job to the factory because there occurs the big difference between the real time to be completed the process plan and the time to be required by the production planner. In this paper, we study the decision supporting system for the process plan based on knowledge base concept. First, we represent the knowledge of process planner as a database model through the modified POI-Feature graph. Then we design and implement the decision supporting system imbedded in the heuristic algorithm in the client/server environment using the ORACLE relational database management system.

Design of Contact Scheduling System(CSS) for Customer Retention (고객유지를 위한 접촉스케줄링시스템의 설계)

  • Customer retention is one of the major issues in life insurance industry, in which competition is increasingly fierce. There are many things for the life insurers to do many things to retain the customers. One of those things is to make sure to keep in touch with all customers. When an insurance-planner resigned, his/her customers must be taken care of by some planner-assistants. This article outlines the design of Contact Scheduling System (CSS) that supports planner-assistants for contacting the customers. Planner-assistants are unable to share the resigned insurance-planner's experience and knowledge regarding the customer relationship management. The CSS developed by employing both Classification And Regression Tree (CART) technique and Sequential Pattern Mining (SPM) technique has a two-stage process. In the first stage, it segments the customers into eight groups by CART model. Then it generates contact scheduling information consisting of contact-purpose, contact-interval and contact-channel, according to the segment's typical contact pattern. Contact-purpose is derived by schedule-driven, event-driven, or business-rule-driven. Schedule-driven contact is determined by SPM model. In the operation of CSS in a realistic situation, it shows a practicality in supporting planner-assistants to keep in touch with the customers efficiently and effectively.

Retirement Planning by the financial management style (가계재무관리 유형에 따른 은퇴계획)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the characteristics of financial management styles and retirement planning. The results of this study were as follows: Among respondents systematic managers feeling managers analyzing managers, and holistic managers were respectively 20.1%, 19.5%, 30.8% and 29.6% Several variables such as education total household income and occupation had significant differences by the financial management style. Within the group of retirement planner analyzing manager held the first place whereas holistic manager ranked the first in non-planner group. Retirement planning age which is appropriate for starting to plan the degree of systematic retirement planning and life expectancy had significant difference by the financial management style.

  • Gupta defined deadlocks in the blocks world and proved that decision making problem in the blocks world is NP-Complete. The types of deadlocks are classified and the properties of deadlocks are analyzed in this paper. The heuristic planner algorithm for the limited table-capacity blocks world using both the inverse position of the block and properties of deadlocks is designed and its performance is also evaluated.
