  • This paper proposes a gender identification using shoeprint images. It is difficult for the proposed method to identify an individual if shoeprint images for identification leaked out. Because the proposed method identifies gender without the faces, the type of dress and the hair types images. Therefore we can use safely the proposed method in public place. In addition, a sensor mat which we developed is reasonable to use mechanical switches arranged in a matrix pattern without pressure switches. We had shoeprint images with the sensor mat. We measure feature parameters from shoeprint images. The feature parameters are length, width and area of shoeprint. Utilizing the feature parameters, we identified gender. In order to verify the gender identification rate of the proposed method, we set up the sensor mat at an entrance of buildings and took shoeprint images of 100 men and 100 women. As a result, we achieved about 86 percent of the gender identification rate.

  • Baotu Spring Park, a must-visit place in Jinan, China, has been rated as the country's highest-level scenic spot by the Chinese government. However, social media that highly reflects public opinions tends to express a lower evaluation of Baotu Spring Park. Thus, this paper employs service design thinking methods to identify the problems of Baotu Spring Park and provide solutions from the perspective of visitors. Based on desk research, tourist behavior tracking, contextual interviews, and a customer journey map, it was found that the service gap of Baotu Spring Park lacks a unified and effective instruction system. Also, the activities, parking, and high-quality tourist souvenirs are deficient, and there is no online information delivery platform. Finally, five suggestions are made,-respectively:,- redesign the sign system, enhance the participation of tourists, redesign the tourist souvenirs and display space, offer parking areas and shuttle buses, as well as set up a dedicated application.

  • When we include environment side safety, environmental material's reliability technology and study for the application method, the evidence supporting the investment of R&D person and financial. Clearly, the most important task in electrical and electronics company's product soldering process the probability of heavy metals exclude is to identify the mechanisms by which they may take place. Therefore, this study emphasis on the application environmental material classification and reliability technology.

  • It has been said that concrete materials are useful and necessary when children learn mathematics. But it has been proved by several researches teachers don’t often use them even if they agree that they are useful. This article focuses on the lack of systematic and applicable research on manipulatives. Therefore, it tries to identify the state of current research and to present the concrete domains which need more study in the future, in order to induce both qualitative and quantitative research. The following nine domains cover almost all the research on manipulatives so far affect of manipulatives on achievement. types of learners, mathematical topics, subjects of operation, variety of mainipulatives, instructional method, degree of involvement of mainpulatives in class, selection criteria, and place for use.

  • We describe the fundamental issue of scheduling the allocation of wireless network resources and provide several formulations of the associated problems. The emphasis is on scheduling transmission attempts. We place this problem in the context of existing approaches, like information theoretic and traditional network theoretic ones, as well as novel avenues that open up the possibility of addressing this issue for non-stationary and non-ergodic environments. We summarize concrete recent results for specific special cases that include unicast and multicast traffic, different objective functions, and reduced complexity versions of the problem. We conclude with some thoughts for future work. We identify and single out the cross-layer nature of the problem and include a simple physical-layer criterion in what is mostly a medium access control (MAC) problem.

  • Necrotizing enterocolitis (NEC) is a devastating condition of hospitalized preterm infants. Numerous studies have attempted to identify the cause of NEC by examining the immunological features associated with pathogenic microorganisms. No single organism has proven responsible for the disease; however, immunological studies are now focused on the microbiome. Recent research has investigated the numerous bacterial species residing in the body and their role in diseases in preterm infants. The timing of initial microbial colonization is a subject of interest. The microbiome appears to transfer from the mother to the newborn, as well as to the fetus. Cross-talk between the fetus and fetal microbiome takes place continuously to generate a unique immune system. This review examined the transfer of the microbiome to the human fetus, and its potential relationship with NEC.

  • Purpose: The Purpose of this study was to identify for perception and preference on Flexible working pattern of Nurses in hospital. Method: The subjects were 260 nurses enrolled in 11 hospitals located in S and P city. Questionnaire method was utilized for data collection. Data was analyzed by SPSS statistical program. Results: 86.5% of the nurses were working 3 shifts. 70.8% of nurses agreed that they decided to give up nurses because of very irregular working pattern. They want to work 40hrs/weeks, and agree to applying to Flexible working pattern. There was statistically significant between career(F=2.839, p=.039), working place(F=3.086, p=.047), the mind of change of occupation(F=.479, p=.002) and expected life pattern change after applicating for Flexible working pattern. Conclusion: We need to Various Flexible working pattern model. As well as we need to public information about nurses' Flexible working pattern.

  • Kitchen space is one of the most dangerous places for the elderly. Modifications of kitchen space for improving safety and independence for older residents are very important factor for aging in place. The purpose of this study was to identify the current situations and modifications of kitchen space by elderly-headed households. The sample included 108 respondents over the age 65 who consisted of elderly-couple or single person household with homeownership in Seoul. The data were analyzed by descriptive statistics. Based on the findings of the study, the present incidence and recognition of future need in kitchen modifications were identified. Changes made in kitchen space tended to be nonstructural or relatively inexpensive items. In conclusion, this study suggests several ideas for improving current physical problems of kitchen space to support safe and independent daily living of older residents.

  • The rural traditional houses in Taebaek mountainous regions play important roles in figuring out values and social aspects of past time including housing life. But due to the introduction of convenient facilities in the current housing life style after industrialized society, many transformations have been taken place even to exist rural traditional folk houses such as installation of new equipment and furniture, the arrangement and function change of rooms, expansion of residential area and etc. So this study aims to secure basic data to prepare installation standard of the convenient facilities as examining convenience facility installation status of the cultural asset designated as rural traditional house, and to identify the meaning and usage of major room of rural traditional houses in order to prepare the proper balances between its original form preservation and residents' convenience living.

  • We consider a supply chain consisting of a make-to-order manufacturer and N component suppliers and study the impacts of the number of suppliers on component inventory management. The manufacturer has full information and continuously observes the state of both component inventory level and customer backorders. Based on this information, the manufacturer determines whether or not to place a component purchasing order to a supplier among N suppliers even though some orders are in process by other suppliers. The goal of this paper is to numerically identify the manufacturer's purchasing policy which minimizes the total supply chain cost and the best choice of N. Our model contributes to the current literature in that the problem of simultaneously considering multiple outstanding orders and incorporating order setup cost into the model has not been covered yet. From numerical experiment, we investigate how much the policy with N suppliers can contribute to reducing the supply cost compared to the policy with a single supplier.
