압전회전작동기를 이용한 스텝모터에 관한 연구 (Research for Step Motor using Piezoelectric Torsional Actuator)

  • In this paper, A new type of piezoelectric step motor using piezoelectric torsional actuator and a pair of one-way clutch bearing is designed, manufactured and tested. The torsional actuator consists of 16-polygonal tube that can produce angular displacement using shear mode of piezoceramic. One-way clutch bearing convert oscillation of torsional actuator into continuous rotation. After performance testing of torsional actuator, the optimum condition for driving motor is investigated in terms of wave shape, excitation frequency and electrical field. The performance of the motor is experimentally evaluated. As a result, square wave has larger rotation speed than sin wave, and the maximum rotation speed of 57 rpm is measured at 3850 Hz and 100V/mm.

  • An active control of the vibration transmitted by longitudinal load in flight control system is investigated numerically. The flight control system is modeled as a finite, thin shell cylinder with constant thickness. A vibration source is generated by exterior monopole source. Distributed piezoelectric actuator is used to control of the vibration. Thin shell theory is used to formulate the numerical models. The amplitude of vibration at discrete location and power transmission are minimized by analytical optimization method. Genetic algorithm is used as numerical optimization method to search optimal actuator position and size which amplitude of vibration is minimized.

  • 단일층 압전작동기에 적절한 압축하중을 가하면, 압전세라믹 층에 가해지는 압축 응력에 의한 재료비선형적 특성과 기계적 좌굴현상에 의하여 작동 변위와 작동력이 동시에 향상된다. 본 논문에서는 날갯짓 기구를 압축하중을 받는 단일층 압전 작동기로 구동하는 경우, 날갯짓 각도와 공기력에 어떠한 영향이 발생하는가를 조사하였다. 또한 날개 형상과 수동 날갯 회전 각도가 공기력 발생에 미치는 영향도 실험적으로 조사하였다. 인공 날개를 2차원으로 가정한 전산유체해석을 통하여 얻은 평균 수직력이, 실험으로 얻은 값과 잘 일치함을 확인하였다.

  • 본 논문에서는 압전작동기 LIPCA를 이용하여 형상가변익을 제작하였고, 제작된 형상가변익의 작동변위에 관하여 연구를 수행하였다. 등가 열 모델링 방법과 MSC/NASTRAN으로 해석을 수행하여 압전작동기의 작동변위를 예측하였고, 이를 바탕으로 형상가변익의 설계와 제작을 수행하였다. 실험을 통해 제작된 형상가변익의 실제 작동변위는 압전세라믹의 재료 비선형성으로 인해 예측된 값보다 크게 나옴을 확인하였다. 압전작동기 LIPCA를 이용한 형상가변익은 작은 크기의 무인비행기나 초소형비행기의 조종면으로 사용될 수 있다.

  • This paper is concerned with the experiments on the active vibration control of a plate with piezoceramic sensors and actuators. The natural frequencies of the composite plate featured by a piezo-film sensor and piezo-ceramic actuator are calculated by using the modal analysis method. Modal coordinates are introduced to obtain the state equations of the structural system. Six natural frequencies were considered in the modelling, because robust control theory which has inherent robustness to structured uncertainty is adopted to suppress the transients vibrations of a glass fiber reinforced(GFR) composite beam. A robust controller satisfying the nominal performance and robust performance is designed using robust theory based on the structured singular value. Simulations were carried out with the designed controller and effectiveness of the robust control strategy was verified by results.

  • In this paper, we present out recent progress in the LIPCA (Lightweight Piezo-Composite Actuator) application for actuation of a flapping wing device. The flapping device uses linkage system that can amplify the actuation displacement of LIPCA. The feathering mechanism is also designed and implemented such that the wing can rotate during flapping. The natural flapping-frequency of the device was about 9 Hz, where the maximum flapping angle was achieved. The flapping test under 5 Hz to 15 Hz flapping frequency was performed to investigate the flapping performance by measuring the produced lift and thrust. Maximum lift and thrust were produced when the flapping device was actuated at about the natural flapping-frequency.

압전세라믹을 이용한 지능 복합적층판의 강제진동의 능동제어 (Active Control of Forced Vibrations in Smart Laminated Composite Plates Using Piezoceramics)

  • Active control of forced vibration of the cantilevered laminated composite plates using collocated piezoceramic sensor/actuator is analyzed numerically and verified experimentally for various fiber orientations. Impact on the stiffness and the damping properties is studied by varying stacking sequence of [$\theta$$_{4}$O$_{2}$90$_{2}$]s for the laminated composite plate. For the forced vibration control, the plate is excited by one pair of collocated PZT exciters in resonance and its vibrational response is suppressed by the other collocated PZT sensor/actuator using direct negative velocity feedback. It is shown that the active control of forced vibration is more effective for the smart laminated plate with higher modal damped stiffness(2ζ$\omega$/aup 2/) .

  • 이 논문에서는 압전작동기를 이용하여 유연 보 구조물의 위치추적제어를 실험적으로 고찰하였다. 작동기의 히스테리시스 특성을 보상하기 위한 앞먹임 보상기와 PID 되먹임 제어기를 함께 구성하여 정밀한 위치 추적제어를 수행할 수 있도록 하였다. 히스테리시스 보상기는 압전작동기의 예측 변위를 바탕으로 한 프라이작 모델을 사용하여 구성하였다. 히스테리시스 보상기의 유무에 따른 PID 되먹임 제어의 성능을 조화가진과 랜덤 가진 실험을 통하여 평가하였으며, 보상기와 되먹임 제어기를 함께 사용하였을 때, 우수한 위치추적제어 성능을 가지는 것을 확인하였다.

  • This study deals with the active vibration control system for an all-clamped rectangular plate with piezoceramic actuators and sensors. A line nonent algorithm (LMA) with the distributed modal sensitivity(DMS) is proposed to reduce the structural vibrations effectively and to select the optimal locations and the optimal directions (skewed angles) of uniform piezoelectric actuators or sensors. Experimental results show that eachmode can attenuated byabout 10 .approx. 13 dB in case a piezoelectric actuator generate the psuedo-random disturbances that excite the plate modes.
