Mobile technologies have enabled marketers to target consumers anywhere and anytime. However, as consumers react and respond differently depending on what situation they are in, there is an apparent need to determine when, where, and what kind of advertisement is most relevant to the consumer. This paper proposes a holistic approach to examine the response of consumers when faced with two types of contextual factors (environmental/spatial and social contexts) through the lens of the Mobile Advertising Effectiveness Framework. We focus on the contextual effects of perceived distance from the offline store and the effect of popularity cue indication. A scenario-based survey is conducted to investigate the effects of perceived distance and popularity cue on the users' attitudes, and ultimately on their response intentions, upon receipt of mobile ads. Results of the study confirm the hypotheses: first, mobile ads sent when users perceive the physical store to be in close proximity tend to evoke more positive attitudes and elicit better responses compared to when users perceive the store to be farther away. Additionally, ad messages indicating high popularity were found to be more appealing than those with low popularity. These empirical results underscore the pivotal role of context, encompassing both spatial context (proximity to offline stores) and social context (popularity cues), in shaping consumer attitudes and response intentions in mobile advertising. The findings of the study offer theoretical insights that underline the significance of holistic context-based approaches that in turn, marketers may use to design more effective mobile ad campaigns that may elicit better responses from consumers.
Human capital and higher education have been increasingly emphasized with the rise of a knowledge-based economy. Cities are recognized as places to attract human capital and spur economic development. Educated workforce supply is one of the critical parts to sustain IT industries, which have been leading recent economic development. This paper examines factors affecting geographies of educated workforce supply from colleges and universities to companies in U.S. metropolitan areas through questionnaire survey and interviews with IT companies and IT-related programs at colleges and universities. The results show that: (1) physical proximity between IT companies and colleges/universities enhances the degree of educated workforce supply from colleges/universities to IT companies; (2) IT companies which seek more specialized and rarer expertise recruit the workforce from colleges or universities over longer distance; (3) colleges and universities which offer a higher degree have geographically more extensive supply of educated workforce to IT companies than those which offer a lower degree; and (4) large IT companies have more geographically extensive supply of educated workforce to colleges/universities than small IT companies.

Centralized P2P system, Napster and Unstructured P2P system, Gnutella accomplish main current. Centralized system and unstructured system have a restriction in a scalability. To solve the this problem, structured system is appeared. CAN, Chord, Pastry and Tapestry are delegation of this system. Although structured system don't aware physical proximity of node because it uses Distribute Hash Table. In proposing system, a node can communicate with physical proximity of node using concept of LAN. Internet traffic is also decreased because communication in the Chord network divide in two(original network and sub network).
Purpose: The purpose of this study was to review and identify the meaning and components of the concept, Frailty. Method: We conducted literature review of studies that concluded the word of 'frail' or 'frailty between 1980 and 2008, and used MEDLINE, CINAHL database to select the articles. Results: Frailty is defined as a concept with multidomains, which are physical, cognitive, psychological, social. Critical characteristics of Frailty include multidominal deficiency, combined accumulation, diminished ability to keep up the independence of daily living, states beyond one's reserve capacity, dynamic relativity, proximity to adverse health outcome, aggregated symptoms. Frailty is caused by decreased physical activity, loss of sensory function, Chronic symptoms or signs, relationship with Caregiver, social isolation. Moreover, Frail elderly is at risk of falls and institutionalization. Conclusion: Frailty is very useful concept, because it has the potential to identify the elderly population at risk of adverse health outcomes. Based on this results, the appropriate tool for screening Korean Frail elderly and Nursing intervention for them needs to be developed.
Employing the density functional theory, we have investigated the roles of Coulomb and Hund's interactions in the electronic and magnetic properties of newly discovered ${\alpha}-RuCl_3$ having the $R{\overline{3}}$ symmetry, which is in close proximity of the Kitaev system. We show that both the size and the direction of local magnetic moment are highly dependent on Coulomb and Hund's interactions, and the spin and orbital parts show different behaviors. The validity of the so-called $j^{eff}$ picture is accessed upon interaction parameters, and the explicit roles of Hund's interaction in the local electronic structures and magnetic properties are discussed.
Purpose: Scintillation Proximity Assay (SPA) does not require the physical separation of receptor bound form from free form. SPA was applied to the study of interaction of human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) and $anti-{\alpha}$ hCG in serum. Materials and methods: $Anti-{\alpha}$ hCG was biotinylated for the binding to streptavidin. The assay was based on the simple competitive binding method between $[^{125}I]hCG$ and the hCG in sample serum, with $anti-{\alpha}$ hCG-coated beads. Aliquots of biotinylated $anti-{\alpha}$ hCG were dispensed into scintillation vials containing $100{\mu}{\ell}\;[^125}I]hCG\;and\;200{\mu}{\ell}$ of either a standard concentration of hCG for preparation of standard curve or unknown sample, and incubated for 20 min. at room temperature. Then $20{\mu}{\ell}$ streptavidin-coated beads were added to vials, and finally incubated for 10 min at room temperature. Values for unknown samples were then calculated from the standard curve. Results: Optimal background counts were certificated using varied radioactivity of radionuclides. Appropriate standard curve was obtained from SPA method successively, and the concentration of hCG from unknown serum was determined by standard curve. The result from SPA assay was similar to that of RIA. Conclusion: This observation confirms that SPA method could be useful for clinical diagnosis.

This study attempts to figure out the impact of Information and communication technologies (ICTs) on spatial structure and to speculate on spatial strategies in the electronic economy from a geographical perspective. The unprecedented development of ICTs based on the explosive use of the Internet was enough to lead to the expectation that physical distance would not be a significant barrier in business activities. In fact, however, at least at a current stage, the development of ICTs has not automatically removed the inequality in spatial structure. The accessibility to electronic space is different by economic and social status within a country as well as between countries. The importance of place, locality, and place-specific assets has been strengthened in the global economy. Physical proximity is still of great importance because it helps to minimize transaction costs, to exploit place-specific social networks, and to accumulate credibility for successful businesses. Likewise, the development of electronic commerce such as B2B and B2C EC also does not necessarily result in the ignorance of place and locality. Rather, the recognition of the importance of spatial strategies is extremely important for the success in online businesses. As a conclusion, the spatial dimension becomes more important in the digital era for successful businesses and balanced regional developments than ever before. The need for the improvement of ICT infrastructures, the development of human resources, and the establishment of regional innovation systems in peripheral areas cannot be overemphasized even in the digital era.

This research aimed to identify walking trails' purpose of its use and the factors that influence the selection. For this, a survey targeting the walking trail users was conducted in 2016 to question the research aim stated above. The mean number of walking trail usage in a month was 2.51 times and the duration of use ranged from one to ten hours, with the average of 2.5 hours. The main reason for the usage was to maintain physical health and the following was for mental relaxation, thus showing more than 90% of the people concerned with physical and mental health. Walking trails near the residences had the greatest percentage and trails that include mountains, rivers, seas and lakes were the following. Trails near historical locations or countryside showed a lower percentage. The choices showed relevance to the proximity as a standard of selection. The next highest percentage was the convenience of transportation. Additionally, people that access the trails three or more times were inclined to be influenced by the installation of exercising equipment. The aspect of facilities showed that the place for relaxation was a significant selection factor such as bathrooms for 20s to 30s and exercising equipments for people older than 50. To access the walking trails, people reach it by automobiles, public transport, walking and bicycles and out of these, automobiles had the highest percentage.
This paper describes a study of the effect of shield tunnel construction on the liners of nearby existing perpendicular tunnels. The research programme investigated the influence of tunnel proximity and alignment, liner stiffness on the nature of the interactions between closely spaced tunnels in clay. A total of two sets of carefully controlled 1g physical model tests, including the same test for repeatability, were performed. A cylindrical test tank was developed and used to produce clay samples of Speswhite kaolin. In each of the tests, three model tunnels were installed in order to conduct two interaction experiments in one clay sample. The tunnel liners were installed using a model tunnelling machine that was designed and developed to simulate the construction of a full scale shield tunnel. The first tunnel liner was instrumented to investigate its behaviour due to the installation of each of the new tunnels. The interaction mechanisms observed from the physical model tests are discussed and interpreted.
