에디트 슈타인과 몸, 생명 그리고 종교 (Edith Stein : Body, Life and Religion)

  • 오늘날 현대사회에서 우리는 불안, 두려움, 괴로움, 분노, 슬픔, 갈망, 욕망, 쾌락과 같은 감정의 문제를 철학의 중요한 주제 중 하나로 인지하게 되었다. '감정의 문제' 좀 더 포괄적으로 말하자면, '마음의 문제'를 우리는 어떻게 연구할 것인가? 이러한 문제의식으로 마음에 대한 연구는 인간의 가장 깊숙한 내면의 느낌과 생각을, 그리고 다른 사람의 감정과 연관 지어 생각할 수 있게 한 출발점이라 할 수 있다. 무엇보다도 오늘날 타인을 이해하기 위해서 그리고 더 나아가서 인간을 이해하기 위해서 마음의 문제 중에서 감정이입 내지는 공감의 역할을 강조하고 있으며, 특히 심리학과 철학에서 그 현상이 두드러지고 있다. 필자는 감정이입이나 공감은 인간의 고독과 괴로움, 또는 소외감을 벗어나게 해 주며, 인간간의 소통을 위한 출발점이라는 사실은 분명 인정한다. 하지만 이 지점에서 가장 근원적 물음인 "인간이란 무엇이며, 누구인가?"라는 주제를 상기해 본다. 다시 말해서 인간은 정신 또는 마음으로서의 존재만이 아니라 "물질적인 것-생명적인 것-정신적인 것"이 포함된 "단일-존재"로서의 인간이라는 사실이다. 그런 한에서 인간과 연관된 문제는 인간과 물질적인 사물과 식물, 동물과의 유기적 연관성을 가진 생태학적 생명이라는 관점에서 접근할 수 있으며, 더 나아가서는 삶의 원리와 가치를 부여하는 종교적 실천을 통해서 진정한 소통과 이웃사랑의 사회가 형성될 수 있기에, 종교적 영성이라는 측면에서 접근할 수 있다는 가능성을 타진하는데 이 글의 근본목표가 있다. 결국 인간의 고통과 불행 그리고 현대사회에서 제기되는 인간과 연관된 여러 문제들을 마음의 논의로 한정시키기 보다는 단일체로서의 인간관을 바탕으로 한 생명과 종교적 영성을 통하여 다양한 해결 가능성을 살펴보고자 함이 이 글의 내용이다.

  • 행복은 일상생활을 통해 우리가 느끼는 쾌(기쁨) 외에 따로 있는 것이 아니고, 이러한 쾌의 탐구야말로 오늘날 심리학, 특히 긍정심리학의 과제이다. 이러한 심리학의 과제를 완수하려면, -덕의 실천과 별도로- 우리의 정서적 삶이 어떤 신경경로에 의해 이루어지는지를 해명해야만 한다. 왜냐하면 신경적 문제가 있는 사람(예를 들어 사이코패스, 우울증 환자 등)은 덕을 실천하고자 해도 할 수가 없기 때문이다. 신경과학은 종래의 이성적 통찰로는 알 수 없는 새로운 접근법이다. 그러나 일시적인 신경상태의 확인만으로는 결코 유덕한 삶에 이를 수 없다. 이러한 덕의 실천이야말로 도덕적 에토스 확립의 정점이다. 이것은 전통적으로 이성적 통찰을 통해 일어났다. 하지만 종래의 이성적 통찰과 오늘날 의지의 형성을 목표로 하는 정서적 삶 사이에는 분명히 간극이 있다. 이 간극의 해소 없이 행복을 추구한다는 것은 요원한 과제일 뿐인데, 여기서 심리학의 고민도 깊어진다. 그리하여 도덕적 실천과 신경과학적 사실을 유기적으로 결합해야 하는 임무가 심리학에 새롭게 부과되지만, 이것은 심리학의 논의를 넘어선 (메타)물음이다. 이 물음의 해명이야말로 오늘날 도덕철학의 -그것도 융 복합학적 접근을 통해서만 가능한- 새로운 주제화라 하겠다.

Comparative Analysis of the Roles and Identities of Artists and Fashion designers

  • The purpose of this study is to compare and analyze the identities and roles so that they can grasp their social roles and directions. Artists show a change in identity from the deification of modern artists with freedom and genius to artists who challenge the cognitive aspect of art and redefine the scope and concept of artists by expanding their social role. Artists dreaming of an ideal art utopia, in which art, society, politics, and daily life are coordinated, are constantly presenting the social role and direction of art through the combination and challenge of new ways of art and craft, beauty and function, creative imagination, and public service. Fashion designers act as contemporary genius artists, creators who express the appearance of the times, practitioners who advocate social values and changes, members of business in the fashion system, celebrities who are spotlighted by the public at the center of the fashion industry, or fashion influencers. Thus, fashion designers are complex or selective in their role depending on the fashion philosophy of individual designers or location given within the fashion system. They are becoming the subject of creating the culture of the times by expressing social ideology or playing a role in practicing art in life that leads social culture so as to raise the value of fashion in their development and satisfy cultural enjoyment of fashion consumers who consume art in everyday life.

실천공동체의 관점에서 바라본 학교 ESD 프로젝트 참여 교사들의 경험에 관한 연구 (A Study on Teachers' Experiences in ESD Project of School with Perspective of Community of Practice)

  • The purpose of this study is to look at the elementary school teachers' practical experiences of change and knowledges in promotion of Education for Sustainable Development(ESD) process with Community of Practice(CoP) of teachers and Biographical Approach. ESD project of 'S' elementary school was started by Principal's recognition of further and that was practiced with a common theme over the course through various experiences in educational field with teachers' involvement and finally came to the changes in teachers' personal life and lifelong cognition. Through Community of Practice teachers could look the concept of ESD to a wide field of view and tried various activities in the classroom with students and also, as a further, were able to equip new professional competency with skills. Through the process of learning and experience teachers accepted the ESD philosophy as the engine of life and experienced that their long-term recognition was extended to the whole personal life and the global community.

정치광고에서의 니치 마케팅 전략 활용에 관한 연구-15대 총선을 중심으로- (A Study on the Niche Marketing Strategy in Political Advertisements-focusing on the 1996 Parliamentary Election-)

  • For succesful political advertisements the role of mutual communications between advertisers and their targets (i.e. voters) should be magnified, which must be based on the understanding of voter's life-style including the trends of daily life, their philosophy and attitude toward the contemporary matters. During the campaign period for the last parliamentry election the most important issue was nothing but who could be the best representer of their region without any political considerations compared to previous election and the decision made by voters has been evaluated as one of most brilliant ones so far. One thing to note from the last election is that many new faces have been high lighted and that could not have been possible if they could not differentiate their campaign from one of unchanged senior politicians by calling more attentions of voters to them by scrutinizing competitors' election pledges. The differentiation strategy in election campaigns is basically detecting small signs of changes in voters life\ulcornerstyle, bringing them into relief and provoking voters attentions to the election and advertiser. In this sense niche marketing strategy is the differentiating strategy itself and it can be a useful guide in political advertisement for the triumph of advertiser in elections as well as for heathy and fresh political environments on the basis increased attentions of voters. In this paper, aiming at further development of the niche marketing in political advertisements we propose questions whether the niche marketing in the last parliamentary election was introduced on the basis of concept of differentation by analysing last election's strategies targeted at voters specific dispositions.

학교소비자교육 지원 기관을 위한 방향 모색 (Groping out Direction for the Supporting System of Consumer Education in School)

  • Interested in the importance of Consumer Education in school has recognized in modem society, due mainly to the development and change of consumption life. Among the many contributions to the study of consumer issues that Consumer Education in school is the most important thing to be rational consumer. However, There is no any system to support the Consumer Education in school even though we need it. And thus, this paper is used the method of Contents Analysis through critically reviewing the professional web-sites of Consumer Education Center in Japan and Europe in order to investigate what the goal is, what contents are, how they operate their Consumer Education System. Moreover, we compare two web-sites in aspects of system, structure. The Consumer Education in Japan and Europe is toward the value of life which is not the buy-man-ship but the way of thinking and philosophy of life. The school lead the Consumer Education through the integrated system which is invoked all of related subjects. Each related subject is gotten together for the Consumer Education. Most of all the Consumer Education Center in Japan and Europe is in the middle of Consumer Education in school, and then absolutely assist and support Consumer Education in school.

  • 7차 과학과 교육과정은 인간중심 교육철학이 도입되었다는 특성을 갖고 있다. 인간중심 교육과정은 학문중심교육과정보다 학습자의 경험을 강조하는 학습자 중심의 교육을 표방하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 우리 나라 과학과 교육과정의 개편 과정에 표출된 배경, 성격 그리고 목표에서 7차 과학과 교육과정의 의의를 찾고 그 과제와 전망을 논의하였다. 7차 과학 교육과정은 학습자의 경험을 강조하는 인간중심 교육과정으로서 구체적인 교육활동이 실생활 소재로 이루어져서 적용되어야함을 강조하고 있다. 이에 관련된 성과를 위해서는 현대과학이 가지는 사회적인 요소를 고려한 과학의 본성에 대한 교사교육이 필요하며, 실생활 맥락을 교육적이고 인식론적인 관점에서 연구하여 과학과 일상생활 맥락의 차이에 대한 적절한 교육적 구명이 요청된다.

유기농업의 경제적 배경과 경영방식에 관한 고찰 (A study on the economic background and management method in organic farming)

  • Presently the concept of organic farming has not simply technical categories such as no agricul-tural chemicals and no chemical fertilizer but can be also extended to the categories of economics, food nutrition, environmental and philosophical aspects. Accordingly, in order to understand cor-rectly organic farming, it is necessary to look into the concept including these extended aspects. So the production and consumption activities of organic farming products are largely based on the fundamental philosophy of organic farming. That is, all the life that is included in an ecosystem has to live in symbiosis, which is based on life circulation principle. And if this circultaion system is destroyed, human life may be threatended. Farmers who produce organic farming prducts(organic farmer) receive price higher than general farmers. This study shows the gap of 46.9% in two products. Also, since the price of organic farming products is fluctuated less relatively, Organic farming pruducts can be competed against imported agricultural products in terms of food safety. And organic farming should be managed by crop rotation and composite farm management upon which the principle of material circulation is worked. This composite management is devided into 2 classes, which are individually livestock-have-composite management and regional composite management. These management method means that organic materials are crucial to maintain the structure and fertility and these organic materials are easily obtained from animal as by-products.

  • 대학 첫 1년은 신입생들이 학습을 포함한 대학교육에 대한 태도, 기대, 습관을 형성하는 가장 중요한 시기로 성공적인 대학교육의 관건이 되는 전략적 시기이다. 즉, 대학 첫 1년 시기의 태도와 행동, 대학 교육에의 적응도, 다양한 영역에서의 대학 경험이 성공적인 대학 1년을 결정짓게 되며, 성공적인 대학 1학년 교육은 지적 성장, 인간관계 형성, 진로방향 및 목표에 대한 명료화, 신체 및 심리적 건강, 가치관 명료화 등을 경험하는 것이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 포스텍 1학년 학생들이 경험하는 학업과 생활은 어떠한지를 조사하여 성공적인 대학 첫 1학년의 경험을 위한 교육요구를 파악하고 프로그램의 방향을 제안하고자 한다.

가족생활교육으로서의 재무교육의 현황 및 과제 -지역 건강가정지원센터의 프로그램을 중심으로- (Developing Financial Education Programs for Better Family Life Education in the Healthy Family Support Centers)

  • The purpose of this study was to emphasize the household financial education as a part of family life education, especially when provided at local community level; it also examines diverse measures by which to deliver such education. To this end, the current study focuses on the education programs of a healthy family support center, which has been established as a representative transmission system. The current status of its operations was examined, and practical measures by which to stimulate the delivery of financial education within that center were derived. In more detail, previous studies inside and outside of Korea were examined, and the current status of financial education included in the area of family life education was assessed; as a result of these assessments, the definition and objectives of financial education as family life education were adjusted. The limits of financial education that has been delivered thus far were reviewed, with the aim of proposing measures by which to sufficiently stimulate the delivery of financial education programs-programs that ultimately reflect the healthy family philosophy. This study proposes four specific measures by which to stimulate financial education. The first is the application of 'life cycle perspectives' to educational terms. The second is the activation of financial education programs that involve the family unit as educational subjects. Third, the delivery of lectures which related to the financing and nurturing of program coordinators was proposed. The fourth is drawing a connection between online and offline education in terms of effectively applying teaching methods. Ultimately, the results of this study can be used as basic data to inform the planning, development, and operational stages of financial education programs within family life education, which can be performed in healthy family support centers in the future.
