This paper presents a digital control solution which can extract the reactor parameters in atmosphere plasma power supply. The critical issue of the atmosphere plasma power supply is a impedance matching. For the impedance matching, the reactor parameters should be known, but the parameters depend on the reactors. Therefore, the reactor parameters have to measure for the impedance matching. The proposed method is performed by detection of phase difference between inverter voltage and current, and extraction of impedance through active, reactive power.

For estimation of chain-matching phenomena between normal paraffin as a solvent and straight-chain fatty acid as an additive, the density measurement of n-dodecane, n-tetradecane and n-hexadecane were carried out at oil temperature 313K and pressure up to 1.3 GPa. Their solidification pressure were easily determined by the appearance of molecular crystal, abrupt volumetric contraction and generation of heat of solidification and showed minima under the matching condition. The bulk modulus K of molecular crystal was evaluated using phase diagram. The bulk modulus showed maxima under the each matching condition. The chain matching effect on the bulk modulus beyond the scope of the interfacial phenomena are confirmed.

In order to implement DEQPSK modem without using analog phase shifter, the waveform synthesizing method is suggested in the modulation part and the received signal is demodulated by the waveform matching method using the processor.

본 논문에서는 회전형 압축기용 단상유도 전동기의 부하 matching 설계에 관하여 다루었다. 압축기 내부에서의 전동기 운전 온도를 알기 위해 압축기 실험을 행하였고 부하 토크를 추정하기 위해 전동기의 상온 및 실기조건 실험을 행하였다. 추정된 부하 토크를 적용하여 재설계 및 기존 전동기와 비교 검토하였다.

휴대전화를 통해서 양질의 DMB(Digital Multimedia Broadcasting) 서비스를 받기 위하여 지하나 건물사이 음영지역을 제거하기 의한 갭필러(Gap filler) 안테나가 필요하다. 동축 급전선과 4개의 임피던스 정합회로를 필요로 하는 종래의 방식에 비하여 PCB의 피딩 라인에 의한 위상 차이를 이용한 Quadrifilar Helical Antenna(QHA)를 설계하고 제작한다. MicroWave Studio를 이용한 시뮬레이션을 통하여 기존 방식의 QHA에 비해 안테나의 크기와 직경이 안테나 특성에 많은 영향을 주는 것을 파악하여 QHA 제작에 활용하였다. 시뮬레이션을 통한 설계 데이터를 근거로 별도의 임피던스 정합회로가 필요 없는 QHA를 제작하여, 전기적 특성을 측정한 결과 설계치와 유사한 특성을 얻었다.

1962년 Armstrong 등에 의해 second harmonic generation(SHG) 의 이론이 완성된 후 SHG 효율을 높이기 위한 방법으로 비선형성이 큰 물질의 개발과 더불어 위상정합(phase matching)을 만족시키는 여러가지 방법이 연구 되었다. 특히 위상정합의 경우 지금까지는 복굴절을 이용하는 방법이 널리 사용되었으나 이 경우 입사광의 파장이 제한적이고, 많은 무기물 결정에서 비선형광학계수의 가장 큰 텐서 성분인 $d_{zzz}$를 사용할 수 없다는 단점을 가지고 있다. 반면 유사위상정합(Quasi-phase matching:QPM) 은 비선형광학계수( $d_{zzz}$)의 방향을 결맞음 길이(coherence length)마다 분극반전 시켜주어 2차 조화파의 진폭을 길이방향으로 계속 증가시키는 방법으로 구역반전된 길이를 조절하면 거의 모든 파장에 대해 비임계 위상정합( $d_{zzz}$ 사용)이 가능하고, 2차 조화파가 기본파의 전파경로에서 벗어나는 walk-off 현상이 없어 SHG 전환효율을 극대화할 수 있다. In this paper we implemented a novel re-entrant mode microstrip directional coupler for realizing the high directivity characteristic using finite element (FE) analysis. In microstrip configuration, the high directivity can be reached by matching the even- and odd-mode effective phase velocities. Through the values of capacitance obtained from 2-dimensional finite element(FE) analysis, the phase velocities for each mode and the design parameter were extracted for the proposed coupled-line configuration. Based on the extracted design parameter with phase matching condition we designed and fabricated 30dB directional coupler at 850MHz. Experimental results show good performance with excellent isolation.

We verified through a noncritical phase-matched second-harmonic generation experiment that the periodically-poled $LiNbO_3$ (PPLN) had a large effective nonlinear optical coefficient, demonstrating that the QPM grating was uniform throughout the entire length of PPLN. The quasi-phase matching temperature was $193.4^{\circ}C$. The maximum SHG output power at the fundamental power of 2.0 W was found to be 18.0 mW; generated second-harmonic beam was found to have no photorefractive effect.

본 논문에서는 현재 진행 중인 MPEG(Motion Picture Experts Group, ISO/IEC JTC1 SC29 WG11)의 표준화 작업 중 CDVS(Compact Descriptor for Visual Search)의 CE-7(Core Experiment)인 특징점 선택에 대한 방법을 제안한다. 서술자의 경량화를 위해서는 영상으로부터 추출된 많은 수의 특징점들 중에서 영상 정합에 사용될 중요한 특징점들을 선택해야 한다. 본 논문에서는 최 인접 거리 비율 정합(Nearest Neighbor distance ratio matching) 방법에 의해 영상 정합 단계에서 사용되지 않고 버려지는 특징점들을 미리 추출 단에서 제거하는 방법 제안하였다. 제안된 방법을 통하여 적은 비트 전송률을 요하는 시스템에서 특징점의 낭비를 피할 수 있고 결과적으로 추가적인 특징점을 사용할 수 있으므로 전체적인 성능 향상을 얻을 수 있었다. 제안된 알고리즘을 통하여 Pair-wise 정합 실험에서 기존의 Test Model 대비 최고 2.3%의 성공율(True positive rate)의 향상을 보였다.

In this paper, we extracted design parameters for re-entrant mode microstrip directional coupler using FE(finite element) calculations. The microstrip directional coupler suffers from a poor directivity due to effect of the inhomogeneous dielectric including both dielectric substrate and air in microstrip transmission lines. Thus, the phase velocity of even mode is not equal to that of odd mode. In order to improve the directivity of microstrip directional coupler, a novel re-entrant mode microstrip directional coupler was employed. In microstrip configuration, the high directivity can be reached by matching the even- and odd-mode effective phase velocities. Through the values of capacitance obtained from 2-dimensional FE calculations, the phase velocities for each mode and the design parameter were extracted for the proposed parallel coupled-line configuration. Based on the extracted design parameter with phase matching condition, we designed and fabricated a 30dB directional coupler at 0.85GHz. Experimental results show good performance with excellent, isolation and directivity.
