With the proliferation of activity-tracking devices and other smart tools, more users leverage these personal informatics technologies to track their physical and fitness-related activities. The research on the benefits (and limitations) of these devices tends to focus on the use of a single tool, leaving out the interactions among multiple technologies, and how these interactions influence the way users perceive their affordances. Building from an ecological perspective, I extend this research by providing insight into the competitive and complementary relationships among activity tracking devices and other fitness-related and personal informatics technologies within the device ecology of technologies around the user. The affordances of these devices are therefore not enacted in isolation but are relational to understanding of other technological options and differing personal preferences and goals of the user.

Recently medical consumers pursue high leveled quality of life through active promotion, prevention, management activity of health as the importance of health during home life is emerged to meet the aging society and chronic diseases. In addition, people are directed to the m-Health for managing yourself their health by using smartphone and various personal health devices, if necessary transmits health data to the physician himself. In the previous studies, m-Health Application were developed and applied in the real clinical environment by adopting the medical information standards was rarely conducted. Therefore, in this study, the m-Health application platform was developed. Developed application was communicate with IEEE 11073 standard protocol using the Bluetooth Health Device Profile in personal health device via smart phone to process blood pressure information, and it converted to HL7 V2.6 ORU_R01 message for send to remote medical server. In addition, we tested the interoperability and safety of the developed application for 23 inpatient and 17 outpatient at D University Hospital. As a result, the blood pressure information has been transmitted without error.

The aim of this study was to investigate hospital employees' knowledge, recognition and practice on the protection of personal information. A total of 250 hospital employees were selected using convenient sampling in J province. The data were collected using self-reported questionnaire and were analyzed using SPSS 18.0 program and descriptive statistics, Chi-squire test, t-test, ANOVA, and Pearson correlation coefficients. Average score for knowledge, recognition and practice were significantly associated with gender, education, hospital size and there was a correlation among knowledge, recognition and practice. The results of this study will help to develop education program on the protection of personal information for hospital employees.

최근 헬스케어 산업의 증가와 웨어러블 디바이스 및 건강 관련 모니터링 기술의 발전은 자신의 행동을 측정하고 계량화하는 자아정량화 운동의 부흥을 촉진시키고 있다. 퍼스널 헬스케어를 통해 사용자들은 자신의 건강관련 행동을 정량적으로 인지하고 건강관련 인식을 향상할 수 있게 되었다. 본 연구는 사용자에게 전달되는 건강정보를 보다 효과적으로 전달하는 방법을 찾고 제안하고자 한다. 이를 위해 어플리케이션에서 피드백 유형(feedback type)의 비교반응과 정보 제공형태(presentation mode)의 심리적 효과에 대한 실험연구를 진행하였으며 이를 위해 피험자들의 건강 자가보존 성향을 측정하였다. 실험연구 결과, 비교조건과 텍스트 조건에서 사용자의 개인정량화 정보를 효과적으로 전달하는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 피험자의 건강 관련 자가 인지에 따라 건강 자가보존 성향 역시 증가하였다. 이러한 연구 결과 분석은 사용자의 건강 관련 행동 변화 유도의 관점에서 건강정보학 분야 연구의 사용자 행동유도성에 관한 학술적 방법론에 기여할 수 있으며 개인정보학 어플리케이션 설계 및 개발에 의미있는 기여를 할 수 있다. 또한 연구결과는 향후 웨어러블 디바이스의 지속적인 사용을 위한 요인 분석과 개인 트래킹 데이터 분석을 통한 효율적인 건강관리 등 헬스케어 산업에 새로운 통찰을 제공할 것이다.

Objectives: The purpose of our study is to develop and verify questionnaire using temperament and character inventory (TCI) in the future by contemplating the comparative study on TCI and psychological testing Questionnaires. Methods: We investigate the research searched by keyword: 'TCI' and 'Questionnaire' through internet search engines, Pub Med, Science Direct and Springer Link. Results: The comparative study of TCI and psychological testing Questionnaires(SPAQ, BDI, TAS-20, MAC, DSQ) which have the purpose of diagnosing personal disorder is helpful for the verification of the level of adequacy of the concerned psychological testing Questionnaire and contributes to the understanding of psychobiological characteristics of each of personal disorders. The comparative study of TCI and psychological testing Questionnaires(MMPI, NEO, CPI) which have the purpose of comprehending general personality is helpful for the verification of the level of adequacy of the concerned psychological testing Questionnaire and contributes to the understanding of meaning of questionnaire-scales. The comparative study of TCI and constitution-psychological testing Questionnaire(QSCC II) is helpful for the verification of the level of adequacy and the understanding of the concerned constitution-psychological testing Questionnaire and contributes to the understanding of psychobiological characteristics of each of constitutions. Conclusions: TCI is a useful tool to understand the psychological testing Questionnaire more deeply and verify the level of the adequacy, and from now on for the development and verification of Oriental medicinal-psychological testing Questionnaire, the study comparing it with TCI should be actively used.

Genome-wide association (GWA) studies are the method of choice for discovering loci associated with common diseases. More than a thousand GWA studies have reported successful identification of statistically significant association signals in human genomes for a variety of complex diseases. In this review, I discuss some of the issues related to the future of GWA studies and their biomedical applications.

본 연구에서는 민감한 개인정보의 유출과 남용 위험이 높아지고 있는 상황에서 정확한 개인정보 탐지 및 비식별화의 효율을 높이기 위해 개인정보 항목에 특화된 개체명 체계를 개발하였다. 개인정보 태그셋이 주석된 대화 데이터 4,981세트를 구축하고, 생성 AI 모델을 활용하여 개인정보 개체명 탐지 실험을 수행하였다. 실험을 위해 최적의 프롬프트를 설계하여 퓨샷러닝(few-shot learning)을 통해 탐지 결과를 평가하였다. 구축한 데이터셋과 영어 기반의 개인정보 주석 데이터셋을 비교 분석한 결과 고유식별번호 항목에 대해 본 연구에서 구축한 데이터셋에서 더 높은 탐지 성능이 나타났으며, 이를 통해 데이터셋의 필요성과 우수성을 입증하였다.

Social media such as Twitter and Facebook have become popular. In the age of social media, many people have become more active online. For example, about half of all global active Internet users are on Facebook (Perry 2012). Personal branding is a very important strategy to build on an individual's strengths, and this kind of branding is expected to contribute to self-actualization. Therefore, the presence of mentors who advise users to discover their own strong points for self-actualization is necessary. In this paper, we propose a personal branding support service, Mentors, which connects mentors and mentees. The core concept is: "Everyone has the face of both a mentor and mentee." The key function is sharing stages of self-analysis in human life design: Determining value, creating a mission, and forming a strategy. From this function, a good match between a mentor and mentee can be found. The program aims to improve human life by understanding the client's strengths and using social media effectively. Future work includes launching Mentors and evaluating its service.

Our society is depending on mobile devices that play a major role in our lives. Utilizing these devices is possible due to their speed power and efficiency in performing basic as well as sophisticated operations that can be found in traditional computers like desktop workstations. The challenge with using mobile devices is that organizations are concerned with the interference between personal and corporate use due to Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) trend. This paper highlights the importance of mobile devices in our daily tasks and the associated risks involved with using these devices. Several technologies and countermeasures are reviewed in this paper to secure the mobile devices from different attempts of attacks. It is important to mention that this paper focuses on technical measures rather than considering different aspects of security measures as recommended by the cybersecurity community.

한국은 2015 개정 교육과정에서 역량 중심 교육과정으로 개편하고, 정보교육을 통한 창의적 융합 인재양성을 강조하였다. 정보과 교육과정은 학습자가 정보기술 기반의 정보윤리 지식을 축적하여 윤리적으로 판단하고 실천할 수 있도록, 정보문화소양을 핵심역량으로 포함하였다. 본 연구는 정보문화소양을 육성할 수 있는 내용 요소 구성에 대한 시사점을 제공하기 위한 목적으로, 미국, 영국, 인도, 일본, 호주, 독일의 정보 교육과정에서 정보문화소양 관련 내용 요소를 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 첫째, 정보문화소양이라는 용어는 한국의 정보과 교육과정에만 포함되었다. 둘째, 각국이 공통적으로 포함하는 내용 요소는 (개인)정보보호, 정보보안, 저작권인 것으로 파악되었다. 셋째, 한국의 정보사회와 진로, 인도의 부상 피하기, 독일의 건강 보호, 환경 보호는 해당 국가의 교육과정에만 구성되었다. 본 연구는 해외 정보 교육과정 분석 결과에 근거하여 정보문화소양을 함양하기 위한 내용 요소 구성 개선에 방향성을 제공했다는 데 의의가 있다.
